Something dawned on me.

A while ago I made a thread discussing the character Screwball and her connection to Discord. While I believed that there was nothing to really do with her except be a background pony, something dawned on me with the resent reveal of the Tree of Harmony in the season 4 two-part opener. Since we all know that the Mane 6 are the agents for the Tree of Harmony sense they were tied to the elements, as well as Celestia and Luna before them. If The Tree of Harmony is the spirit of harmony much like Discord is the spirit of disharmony then I thought, what if Discord had a agent or agents like the Tree of Harmony. And that's where Screwball comes in, she could be a agent of Discord and could at anytime harness his power much like the Mane 6 was able to harness the elements power, and could potentially become a villain in her own right. And sense she is a adorable little filly, I could see her being able to use that to her advantage, and this would be a perfect way to get Discord to use his powers to stop her and actually prove he Is reformed. But unfortunately this is just wishful thinking on my part and understand that it is unlikely my head canon would be anything other than that.

this would actually make a very good episode! now i wish this was canon...

tough, it would be cool if Screwball wasn't the only agent of Discord. like, she could have like 5 friends and make for the spirits of Chaos or something :3

I always thought the Screwball was just a young blank flack that got hit by Discords, chaotic magic and was just given a random personality. Then when he was sealed she went back to normal. I don't think we will being seeing her again.

Wouldn't it be cool if the 'rivals' of the Mane 6 were to be made into the agents of the 'Elements of Disharmony'?
Perhaps it could go something like this:
Gilda: Element of Grumpiness
Lightning Dust: Element of Betrayal
Flim and Flam: Element of Deceit
Iron Will: Element of Harshness
Hoity Toity: Element of Greed
Trixie or Sunset Shimmer: Element of... Un-magic? (Enemyship?)

I think Screwball was just a random concoction of Discord's chaos, and was made from a random personality. It would be something to have her be a secret agent for Discord, if only it was canon.

I know this is a little dark, but I kinda liked the theory in some fan works that Screwball is Diamond Tiara's mentally ill mother.  Dunno why.
