He went zooming off to the right and turned a full 180 degrees, trying to speed up to catch up with Spitfire. The Shadowbolt realized what happened and moved to cut him off, but he rolled to the side and dove down, grazing the treetops, and then powered forward to keep up with Spitfire, muttering under his breath.

Spitfire gasped. "Soarin!" She called out as she rushed to Soarin's aid. The shadowbolt was trying it's best to fake out Soarin' so it could grab his tail and convert him into a Shadowbolt. Spitfire crossed over and tried her best not to be touched. The shadowbolt was sent spiraling off. "Quick Soarin', to Ponyville before it recovers!" Spitfire shouted as she grabbed Soarin' and flew off to Ponyville.
