tep 1 January 26, 2012 Share January 26, 2012 I think we should have a separate room where we all sit down and converse about Ponies Anonymous®. Pony Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from bronyism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop watching ponies. There are no dues or fees for PA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. PA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay pony-free and help other bronies to overcome bronyism.

MrBlueCheese 0 January 26, 2012 Share January 26, 2012 I don't know. Having people pay their badge for the convention, only to have a group of people try to "cure" their addiction to it? I don't think it works for this type of setting.

Jay6 29 January 26, 2012 Share January 26, 2012 Is there any reason why one would want to stop watching ponies? O_o;
MrBlueCheese 0 January 26, 2012 Share January 26, 2012 Is there any reason why one would want to stop watching ponies? O_o; I don't think watching ponies is the problem. The problem that tep is suggesting that it ultimately takes over our lives (like over-obsessiveness and addictions). However, logic would dictate that one goes to a pony convention to check out the pony-related things, not to "cure" them. I could be totally wrong, but that's how I see it. Jay6 29 January 26, 2012 Share January 26, 2012 Well, it's like saying someone has an addiction to TV, and wants to stop... if the person has no other desire to do something else other than watch TV, then they do have a problem. Probably with lack of motivation, or inspiration to do other things. However, I can't see how ponies have completely taken over my life, other than the fact I want to draw and animate ponies... and collect ponies. Haha, that was my approach. But don't worry guys, I'm kidding :3 Bronyism isn't something that needs a cure, and it would be silly to hold such an event at a pony convention. Just a joke ;

Markarian 0 January 28, 2012 Share January 28, 2012 Many believe that Bronanism is shameful and will make your hooves hairy. However, belief in a higher power is one of the first steps toward recovery. Do you know you're all my very best friends?

I will attend next year when I won't have to worry about such things.
