Equestria Daily - Added to the Queue

Hey all,

 

Both of my submissions to equestria daily recieved replies saying "to the queue!" My first one showed up on the site almost instantly, but the second hasn't been posted for half a day. Both took 2 days to get email responses.

 

My question is: What exactly does "to the queue" mean? Is it the queue of posts being displayed? Or to the posts waiting to be displayed? If it's the latter, why would they delay the email?

 

I understand that the submissions are heavy on them, but to maintain the same delay would mean looking through them at the same pace as getting them. Any thoughts?

I don't know from personal experience...however I have heard that that generally means, next big music update (you are submitting music right?) you will get a mention in that!

 

Just wait like a week before you should start worrying.

Personal experience tells me they will add whatever you submitted when they can and on the right schedule. For me, they submitted it on the same day to EqD. But it might not be the same case for others...

Nuts to that, I give them liscence to two weeks before I send a follow-up email. They must literally go through hundreds if not thousands of individual works to glean.

Yeah they haven't posted instrumental originals for a while. It'll probably be with some of those then.

Congrats to you! I guess it means getting the email may not have to do with the actual posting schedule, that they check their inboxes 24/7 xD
