New Year, New Start

Okay, technically, I've been on these forums since July of this year, and I feel as if I got on the wrong foot with most of the members on here. I'm not sure If I've redeemed myself, but just in case, I'm going to start over. It's a brand new year coming and I think I should fresh. So, let's go back to the beginning.

 

*Clears throat* Hello, bronies of the forums. My name is Steven. I've just become a brony in July of this year, thanks to my best friend, @super2379. He started by showing me the Equestria Girls movie one night while we were recording stuff. I was flabbergasted that I legitimately enjoyed it.

 

During the time, I wasn't really all that familiar with the brony fandom. I didn't have an issue with it personally, though. I knew there were some people that didn't take too kindly to it, but I looked upon those people as internet trolls that get their kicks out of just hating everything. As long as the fandom was filled with nice people, I could really care less.

 

But, that was before EQG. After that, Super showed me a setlist of episodes from the series. As I saw more episodes, I became more interested in the fandom. I did my homework on the series and fandom and, sure enough, I was a brony within the next few weeks.

 

I really didn't know where to go first. I started in the Rainbow Dash Network, but that didn't really work out for me. I wasn't exactly comfortable with the overall design of the site. If you like the site, that's absolutely fine. I just didn't enjoy it.

 

One of my other brony friends, Samuel, introduced me to the MLP Forums. I skimmed through the site for about a day and it seemed like a good place in general. The next day, I made an account membership, which leads me to writing this post.

 

Hope we can start this new year fresh

Oh, I'm really new on here, so you've mad a good impression to me. I think it's so awesome that, you have to decided to.... oh never mind! I have no idea what I mean to say! However my favorite ponies is pinkie pie and twilight sparkle. I totally hope that you re enjoy yourself? I think??? Anyway, I wish you luck on your new years fabulous adventures on this site!
