Hey Everypony, tomorrow is the start of a new year, at least here in the US, and considering how in a little over two months we are getting Dark Souls 2 (Releases March 11th here in the US) I've decided to do a play through of the original Dark Souls as a kind of "Preparation" for the sequel.

 

Now, why am I posting this? you may be asking, I'm going to be keeping a "Journal" on here of what events transpire in game each day (Things like finding items, upgrading equipment, killing bosses or Pvp-ers, stuff of that nature) because I think it would be interesting.

 

Also, another neat twist I came up with recently, is having you guys and girls help pick what kind of play style I'm going for (Hopefully nothing too crazy, like some super pro armor-less/weaponless run)

Okay, so today I started the game, since nobody really commented here, I was left to pick my own play-style, so I decided to go with a strength build and started as the Bandit class. About 90 minutes later I had rung the first bell and that's where my first play session has ended, I may play again today, but I'm not too sure.
