Her ears perked at the sound of a familiar voice. Her left eye began to twitch a little. She realized, unwittingly, that she had only moved a few yards or so since she tossed her wallet at him. Her breathing began to deepen, she began to calm herself down.

Rage subsided, replacing itself with confusion and irritation. She began to pick up her scattered belongings.

Ugh... you're such an idiot...

She gritted her teeth, taking another deep breath, before speaking to Traveller, still focusing on the repossession of her belongings. "You wouldn't happen to still have the little brown bag I tossed to you...  would you?"

She continued to grind her teeth, less excessively now.

'Er, yeah.' Traveller said, lowering his head and letting the bag slide down his neck into the ground. He sat down and looked at her worriedly. 'Is there anything we can do to help? I really don't have anything else to do or anywhere to be, so..' He offered. He smiled a little bit then frowned again, wishing his friend wasn't so stressed.

Architectural Dream looked at the cake for a moment before taking a bite. He stayed quiet for a moment, savoring the taste before speaking, "That is pretty good. That is one good cake, I especially love the strawberry filling. Do you work as a chef or something?"

Ambiance grabbed the bag, rummaging through it furiously.

Calm washed over her tense body when she found the simple slip of paper.

It's here... thank Celestia... Joy, relief filled her body.

Her attention was now directed towards his question.

"Y-you want to help... why? I-i really don't want to impose anything on anypony..."

Her momentary relief faded.

'Well, you're the reason I'm not sleeping on a bench, and just that got you really stressed out, so it feels right helping you to pay you back!' He said cheerfully, smiling as he said it. 'Besides,' he said, 'It's not like I have any other friends in this city. It seems pretty useless to just wander around looking for a hotel when there's somepony I can help. A friend, at that.'. Traveller hovered and looked around. 'What do you need help with anyway?'

"Interesting, and yea, I guess," Architectural Dream replied, getting up and heading for the door. Before he reached for the door, he levitated the three scrolls, hoping to give them to the post office, if they aren't close yet. He opened the door, speaking up, "I'll be back in thirty minutes ma'am!" Then he trotted out the door.

Missy decided to split off from the others, they seemed to have more in common, so she took out the map again and tried to figure out her way to the festival, she decided to just find a café to get something to eat.

 

(She's on the same street as you 3.)

 

But she tripped over a brick in the street, she fell and all her saddlebag's contents fell out all over the place.

He silently listened to the to the two ponies as they had their conversation, but interrupted.

"I guess visiting the castle is out of the question then." he said sarcastically, letting out a little chuckle. This is no way to make friends, maybe coming to this festive was a horrible idea.

Everything was going along so smoothly! His bits were at the exact amount he calculated around, two years ago. Which was always good. That means he could spend a lot of bits here in Canterlot without worrying about loosing bits. Now time to go to that post office which was... four streets away from him.

'Yeah.' Traveller said, ignoring the sarcasm. Or he just didn't care or understand. 'Are you going to help Quill? I don't want to impose , and neither does she. I just want to know so that we can meet tomorrow and wether i should tell you where to find me now or later.' Traveller asked. He didn't want to impose, and asking Quill to help when he didn't even have any involvement seemed rude.

Architectural Dream was around a corner to the post office. He wondered why the hell did the bloody did the civil engineers not place two of the most important areas at the same... street? Manehatten civil engineers seem to get the premise, but nope, can't have that can we? Maybe he should get a degree in civil engineer just so he can chew those civil engineers out, or not, probably laziness. While he was thinking, he noticed that a mare tripped and well, fell face first onto the pavement while three ponies not far from her ignored her accident. Rude. 

"Excuse me miss, you alright?" Architectural Dream asked, stopping near the downed mare.

" I see no reason not to. Just give me a time and a place and  I'll be there." He cheerfully exclaimed. Quill's stomach then let out and audible growl that he was sure Ambiance and Traveller could hear.   "I'm sorry I haven't had anything to eat since I arrived in the city a few hours ago."  He said looking at the ground.

"Ugh!" Missy groaned, getting up. "Sorry, I'm not usually this clumsy." She began to levitate all of her stuff back into the bag and put it back on. "I'm just feeling a little bit tired and I was up all last night with my telescope." Missy came to a realisation. "Oh no, I hope it isn't broken." Missy started checking it for damage.

"I doubt you are miss. And being tired always brings the worst of us," Architectural Dream replied, knowing from experience. Dear Celestia, he remembered that time where he was tired, and he found this techno unicorn mare, and lets say there was a giant fight between classical and techno music fans. Then he saw the telescope and spoke up, "I doubt a fall like that could easily ruin a telescope."

"Sorry, it's just that this telescope means a lot to me, it's one of the only things I have with real sentimental value and I don't want it to get broken." Missy finished, there was no damage. "Thank Celestia for that, anyway, my name is Missy Starlight, I've been learning to socialize today."

That was strange, most ponies aren't learning how to socialize unless they just came out of college or something. Though it could be something random, hmmmm. He then spoke, "Ah, that telescope must worth tons of gold to you."

She looked a little guilty. She didn't want them to hate her.

She watched Missy trip in the distance, and Traveller help pick her things up

She was a little exasperated.

"Are you hurt?"

She heard Quill's loud stomach. "Oh... um, dinner."

"Sorry, usually I don't talk about these kinds of things with anypony other than my therapist, I've got a pretty painful past, so I'd rather just leave it behind me." Missy turned to Ambi. "No, I'm fine thank you."

Architectural Dream listened. A pony with a painful past, there seems to be way too much of these ponies, these days. He then spoke when Missy Starlight was done, "Ah I see. My apologies for bringing up those horrible memories up." Architectural Dream felt horrible for having a pony bring up rather horrible memories.

'Thats great! Me and Quill will go grab some food for the three... er, five... of us and bring it to you. You'll get strayed while we grab the food. It shouldn't take too long to set up.' Traveller said excitedly. He was looking forward to good food. He hadn't eaten all day. He would also be paying Ambiance back for all the stuff she helped him with.

"No, no, it is fine alright," Architectural Dream replied, "And you're here for the festival? I hope you will enjoy the festival, they are rather wonderful. And, may I come along? I am willing to pay for your food, as an apology." He had to pay for the food, his white shirt had been stained, bringing up painful memories isn't something that a pony should do. Though that sounded strange now he thought about it. Rather odd, well words can't be taken back now.

Traveller and I will go get the food. It'll be like a picnic!" He said jumping with excitement. "Is there anything you guys want us to get in particular?"
