Help with Mane and Tail

Okay, so I personally love making OCs using MS Paint (mostly cuz I can't use the Pony Maker- work computer, stupid block on DeviantArt)

 

Here's my problem- I am bad with the mane and tail. I keep using the same base because it has a mane and tail now, but all my OCs look the same and it kinda... well it sucks more than a vacuum cleaner. So I come to you, the good people of MLP Forums. How can I improve my manes and tails? I have dysgraphia so my hands aren't... steady. At all.

Well, this what i use:

Paint.net which is free just google

Then Google MLP vectors and download tried to download images that have transparent background, there are plenty of diferent manes/tails and you can start from there, it may not be to OG but at least whit that they can serve as a base for the rest and once you do layers and all that it it gets easier to edit/crop etc etc.

Use Paint.net. I use it and I can safely say that it is worth getting and is completely safe if you're downloading it from the main website.

 

Also, you can get layers so making pony manes is a hell of a lot easier.
