gaming Dark Souls 2 "Cursed" Trailer

So it's been a decent a good amount of time since we've seen a trailer for this game, well about five days ago they released *drum roll hype sound* A NEW ONE ...which will be right below

 

The main purpose I have for this is to point out a few notable things that sparks some major interest, specifically in a few words said in the trailer. Now a quick thing to note before I begin or if you haven't seen the trailer yet, the graphics in the trailer does it no justice, it looks beautiful and a whole lot better than in here. Alright, let's jump right on in.

 

 

Warning: Some content below contains some lore/story from the first game, you have been warned

 

1. "??? never be forgiven, flesh ???" 

 

Now the this is interesting, the ???'s are placeholders for words I could either not confirm or not make out. For the first one I am almost certain it says "you" but I have heard some people think the speaker says "undead". If that is the case...what is it that you or the undead did so wrong that means you or they can't be forgiven? Was it whatever they did that brought on the curse that was present in Lordran? I'm not sure but I think this should be something to take note on when the game comes out. 

 

2. "We need the Abyss"

 

This kind of blew my mind, you know that one thing called the Abyss in Dark Souls? Yeah, the one that was running rampart that destroyed Oolacile and caused the dire need to flood New Londo along with its citizens? Yup. This is one of the other major things to take note on and maybe look back at the first game and see what is this crazy speaker talking about. Why would you need the Abyss? The other thing I would like to note is the ending of the trailer, is that what the abyss is like now? Now is it probably just special effects to transition but you never know, these trailers usually reveal a good bit. Like everything lore related though, we don't know much as of this moment so that's all I can infer.

 

 

So yeah, I would like to know what your guy's thoughts are on those and maybe even the enemies shown, any recent fears relieved from you? About two months to go!
