private Bad End Night

Firehearted

Recommended Posts

Walking through the hallway, I look up at the clock on the wall. Not moving. Odd. Must be broken. I wandered around, looking for a cloak room of some sort. My sword has to be there. It has to. I need it. These ponies might decide that I've gone crazy. I'm not crazy, am I? "No, I'm not." What would you know? "I know. I just... know. Wait, why am I talking to myself?"

I back off, I am angry.

"What the hell is this?! Is this some sort of game to you."

Shut up you stupid bitch!

I look directly into Warm Dream's eyes, silent. I smile.

"You'd love to do it. You want to use that. You want to kill me and you know it."

In my mind, I'm terrified. It doesn't show.

I turn around calmly, and walk away. I'm still smiling.

I need a weapon...

Warm Night walked the halls for a while for no particular reason.

"The script is going just as planned... The faster that's over the faster this night is over" he said softly to himself. He heard some talking down another hall. He turned around the corner to see their griffon guest talking to himself walking down the hall.

"Hey! Is anything wrong?" He called to him. He kept his sword close to him just in case

"I'm fine. Seriously. I. Am. Fine. Just, please give me some space." My eyes dart around, looking for something to defend myself with. I suddenly grab a hold of myself, metaphorically speaking, and think for a second. I could ask him if he's seen my sword, or I could ask him where the cloak room is. "Hey you haven't seen my sword by chance, have you? I just feel more comfortable with it near, or on me."

"What the hell are you doing, Ami!"

I speak to myself. Telling myself to shut up. To stop now.

I look in the distance. I see Warm Nights speaking to the gryphon.

That damn clock. Why the hell isn't it moving?

Times probably stopped.

Fuck off.

Shut up, bitch.

I continue to argue with myself inside my head. I feel as though I don't control myself.

I see the inside of the clock. Sharp blades.

I smile. It hurts my face, but I smile.

They won't move, you know that.

Shut the fuck up!

I curse under my breath. I wander until I see what appears to be the family's bedrooms.

I walk into one of the doors.

He wants his sword... Part of the script...

"I think you left it in the ball room last night. I hope you slept well. Please excuse me. I need to find Clock Work"

As he left he began to hum somewht loudly not on purpose though. He began to sing the song in his head again.

In the depths of a thick forest, a village girl has become lost.

Holding a letter with faded color, she reaches a mansion of the night.

She knocks on the broken door of the eerie mansion of the night…

"Is anybody home?"

"Oh my, why are you out so late”

"Welcome to our mansion!”

"Please have some tea”

I wander the halls and looked around the creepy mansion. There's got to be some more secret passages around here. I spot a clock and it's hands weren't moving. I was right. But why would that affect the moon and sky? I wonder ... I walk up to a window to see if I canmpoke my head outside but it closed shut before I could even get near it. What the hell? There's no way a window can close by itself. I wander around the halls and see an entrance to a study. I walked in.

I stare up at the clock. Still not moving. I quickly move after Warm Night. "Hey! Wait!" I called, my voice piercing through the air. "Can you tell me why the clock hands aren't moving? Also, do you have any idea why the moon hasn't moved?" I need these answers. The answers define the question. Celestia help me if he doesn't answer.

Warm Night froze in his tracks. He didn't even turn around.

"This house is ancient... It has seen the banishment of Nightmare Moon and the end of Discord's reign... How do you get home? Once this play is over. Find the key to the happy ending this tale or it is another Bad End Night. Search hard... Search hard... You and the other guests are the lead actors... This story starts and ends with you" As he said you Warm Night turned around to see the griffon and his reaction. He was ready to teleport away.

I open the door to find it lit by a single, feint light eminating from a candle. I find Sweet Dreams sitting, brushing her hair in the mirror. She doesn't even see me. I cannot control my own movement, I watch as my hooves wrap around her mouth and neck.

Don't! For the love of Celestistia, don't. Please.

I feel a jerking motion, and hear a series of snaps.

I can't watch. I feel like vomiting.

Please, just kill me. Somepony kill me.

I see myself in the reflection. The twisted grin on my face haunts me.

I break the glass with my hooves, and hide the body.

There we are, nice and clean. Nice. And. Clean.

I stopped controlling my thoughts. She was no older than me. I felt bitter tears, yet none came.

I feel myself slip a decent sized glass shard in my mane. It's painful.

I begin to trot through the halls again.

The first taste of death has arrived at the house of night... The script has been broken and this tale can not be complete until the next night! Then again is following the lines necasaraly true? Now go and make the night even crazier still!

This is the first Crazy NightT. This means the script has been either been followed out of order or something major has happened that can not be fixed by the night's end. NOTE: I will never tell you if the action that caused the Crazy NighT was out of order or not in the script.

"Wait, what?" I was surprised at this. The host's words were still being driven into my mind. "Find the key to the happy ending this tale or it is another Bad End Night. Search hard... Search hard... You and the other guests are the lead actors... This story starts and ends with you" "If this is a play, then there must be an antagonist. That antagonist must be defeated. "This story starts and ends with you" I understand what needs to be done now. But, who is the antagonist?" You are. "No, I can't be." How do you know? "I... don't." I make my way to the ballroom, to get my sword. Either I end the antagonist, or I end myself.

((OOC: I'm going away for a few days. Just telling you in advance. I will be back in three days. So, keep this alive!))

'Look to the left.' No. Why should I? 'You'll be rewarded greatly.' Really? What kind of reward? 'Go back out of the room, turn left, follow the corridor and once there, go to the first door on the right. On the spa e left to it is a candleholder. Push it.' The voice had convinced me. I followed tks directions and pushed the candleholder. It moved and a section of the wall to the left of it opened. I know that he said to not go in, but judging by the state of the beams, it was in fantastic condition. I walked inside the passageway.

OOC: it's about time you go down one of the passages. Anyway I'm about to go to bed, it's getting late here so I might post one more.

As the pony followed the voices she walk down a staircase leading down into the depths. She pushed open a hard wooden door at the bottom of the staircase.

Eleven coffins lie inside a large chamber... One for each member of the household and the other four for you... Four guests... Four more coffins...

The voice keeps speaking.

"You should open them... Just to see what's inside"

OOC: before you think vampires it's not. That's all I'll say but it isn't vampires

Should I? I don't know. 'If you don't open them then you'll never get your reward ..' Fine. You got me there. I looked at the coffins. There was a coffin that was just the right size for me. I didn't want to look inside but something compelled me to. I opened it up and to my relief, I saw nothing there. I quickly looked in the other guest-sized coffins and saw nothing there either. I quickly opened the other coffins. All empty. I came to the final one and pried it open with a crowbar I found. Opening it, I saw the dead body of Sweet Dream. I stifled a scream and placed the lids back on top. Keeping the crowbar in my mane, I raced back upstairs and closed the passage behind me.

(OOC: I am now going to bed. Night,)
