Little background for those that don't know: I became a brony mid 2013 I left the forums (and the fandom) about season 5 episode 3 or 4 (I honestly don't remember) There's nothing else really to say here... So, ONWARD! I went on hiatus because (IMO) the show was starting to lose the appeal for me. At first, I thought "probably having an off day, I'll try again another time." I never did. I fell out of touch with friends from here (and the brony community as a whole) and just retreated to normie status. It wasn't until about a week ago that my little sister (who also got me into the show in the first place) started rewatching the show and I reconnected with a couple of people. Nostalgia ensued, and here I am. I still haven't gotten around to finishing the show either. I'm only now starting to actually considering coming back. Honestly, reading some of the opinions from a couple of posts, I'm not sure if it's even gonna be worth my time watching two whole fucking seasons when I have my degree to focus on, but nonetheless I am gonna consider it. Well, I might make return, but for now, we'll see.

@@VigilSerus, I listened to that shit in the first 2 hours of it being leaked. Twice. I have to say, Lalassu Xul was the most unexpected intro, and The Heavens Have Fallen the most unexpected Rings of Saturn song of all time. I mean, 6 and a half minutes, yet no breakdowns.

It leaked. It was seriously disappointing. I am going to tell myself that for the next few weeks, let the hype die down, then listen again. Hopefully it wasn't as disappointing as the first play-through though. EDIT: I just found this... XD Still better than the original...

Well, I just listened to Slipknot's new album. I have to say, it was very disappointing. It's definitely the 'Knot though. Just not... good, imo.

Guys, Lugal Ki En has leaked. IT HAS BEEN LEAKED. Z2 is coming out soon, Attila have announced a new album in November, Slipknot 5 is out in around 10 days and I am squeeing over all of this. Here guys, have some Rings of Saturn to celebrate. I couldn't be happier unless Periphery announced a date for Juggernaut, season 5 aired and Chelsea Grin came to where I live. Then, and only then, would I pass out from squeeing all over the place.

I dunno actually. I've almost capped Crysis 3 though. Other than that, I would have to say the last game I finished was The Last of Us. Actually, my system crashed in the final 15 minutes of the game, so I lost all progress on all of my games, so that doesn't count either. Idk. -

@, That's fine man. @, It's not that hard. What I said before was the proper way you should do it, but another way is just tune it down (in a drop tuning) until the strings buzz on the fretboard. That works too. Just try tuning your guitar to drop B. Come on, just try.

@, Tune it to drop A (A, E, A, D, F#, B ) or drop A# (A#, F, A#, D#, G, C). Play it like that for a bit then tune it back to standard. If the strings don't feel like they're gonna snap, then you're good. If they do however, tune it to a full step up from the tuning you were checking, then slowly tune it up by a half step every hour or so until you're back in standard. That's the best way to check.

@, I mean how low can it be tuned without the guitar becoming unplayable, or the neck undergoing immense amounts of stress when being tuned back up. EDIT: @@Treble Bolt, Maybe... we'll see

I have an Ibanez Gio RG7221. 7-string budget that plays better than almost every other guitar I have ever played, including my friend's Schecter Damien 7 Platinum. It is a good guitar.

I write in tabs. I transcribe what I'm playing very basically in TuxGuitar, and normally don't do rhythms/tempos until I've finished a few riffs. What kind of guitar do you have?

Hey all. I am wanting to start up a little band, nothing too serious, but I would still spend a fair amount of time on it. I mostly write various forms of metal, including, but not limited to, djent, metalcore and progressive metal. I play guitar, but lack drums, bass and vocals. Vocals aren't a necessity though.
