Ace was headed home. It was morning and he had been up all night standing guard at the castle. He was REALLY tired. He just wanted to go home and sleep, but he had to stay awake on the flight there first. His daughter was probably about to wake up. He hated leaving her home alone, but there was no avoiding it. Nopony would Foal-sit in Canterlot for some reason. But he was there when she went to school, and was there when she came home. That's what mattered.

Melody Arts looked at Ace. Ace please come here. She needed someone to check on the Crystal Empire. She would watch his daughter. Her red and blue mane flowed in the wind. Her cutie mark, a treble cleft with a wing on the right side of it, moved with every step she took.

"Yes princess Melody?" He asked tiredly. He really needed some sleep. Although he was tired he forced himself to stay awake as he walked over. He almost tripped but caught himself. 

"I really need to get home." He said to her politely. "My daughter needs to get to school and I've been on guard all night.

I will watch her. I need you to go to the Crystal Empire to check on it. With no one ruling it, it is open for attacks. She gave her orders confidently. The sun needed to go down. Hang on one second Ace. She used her magic and lowered the sun. Her mother had taught her that when she was alive. Alicorns were supposed to be immortal but when the castle had been attacked years ago her mother had died.

Sophia woke up and walked out to the kitchen and saw Melody.

"Where's my dad?" She asked.

Melody looked at the filly. He is going to the Crystal Empire. I will watch you. Lets say we go to the school and tell Cheerliee that you will be spending the day with me. Ready? Melody sounded sweet and caring. She wanted a foal and was desperately looking for a spell to bring her dead husband back.

No... It was important... I needed him to go that moment. I promise he will be back before nightfall. Melody used her magic to make the filly's bed. What would you like to do today? We can do anything you want.

 

Misty Haze looked at Ace as he approached. Changelings capture him. She had taken over the Crystal Empire almost 3 months ago. She was desperate to keep it.

 

Broken Spirit, a changeling, nodded and flew towards Ace.

Please excuse Sophia for the day. I am watching her while her father, Ace, is on a mission for me. She shall be spending the day with me in the Canterlot Castle. She was a respected princess. Everypony loved her.

 

Misty waited for her changeling subject to return with the prisoner.

Ae tried to shout, but couldn't make a sound. He contined to struggle and was very close to breaking freeHis knecklace bobbed on him. He had almost forgot about it. Was it charged? He looked at it and it glowed. That necklace was his ticket home. It could teleport him home when it was fully charged. It would only need an hour. He continues to struggle to keep them from noticing his means of escape.

"NEVER!" Ace yelled. His necklace glowed brightly and his body glowed with a blue aura as he zapped away. He stood up. He was in the everfree forest.

"Great! Now I'll never get home!"He had never navigated through the forest, and if her army found him, he was toast.

 

"Ok." She replied. She never really liked Misty because she thought she was the reason her father was never at home with her. But she kept her moth shut.

"I never get to spend time with him because you keep him at the castle forever and he has to sleep instead of play with me. And other ponies don't like me, so I just leave them alone. It is your fault." She said angerly and upset. She only wanted to spend time with her father, and Melody was getting in the way.

A guard few to Melody.

"Your highness! We have an emergency!" He said.

Sophia. Hold on one second. Yes? What is the emergency. Melody used her magic to transport her, Sophia, and the guard to Canterlot Castle. 

 

MIsty looked around the empire. He is gone. Find him!!!

 

Midnights Mystery was walking around the Everfree forest. She was waiting for the stars to come out so she could talk to them.

Moonlight rolled her eyes "no pony CARES if he escaped by using magic pegasi have their own magic now shut up Misty before i trap you on the moon or worst you understand? now halt your search for him " Moonlight commanded. She then looked at her royal pet phoenix then whispered quitely enough that Misty didn't hear it "search for him amber" the phoenix didn't waste time Amber spreaded her beufitul blue wings and flew away in search of Ace.
