Name That Character Thread No. 2733

So I was prompted to make a new character for a Role-Play I'll hopefully be joining; a young female crystal pony (Earth variety, if it helps).  I'm having trouble giving them a good name, though, so I thought I'd come to you fellows for help.

Character Write-Up

She is, through and through, a hunter for knowledge.  Delving into book after book of knoweldges of all sorts, she finds the hunt for knowledge admirable in and of itself.  Preferring books to people, she can count her friends on the fingers she doesn't have.  Her daily routine used to be a simple "eat, sleep, and read," never even leaving the house except to visit the local library.  This suited her just fine, but frustrated those who knew her—seeking knowledge was fine, but then failing to apply it boggled the minds of her peers and parents.

One day, after another three-day stakeout at the library, she found herself abruptly and forcefully kicked out of her own home.  Her parents threw her and her book collection onto an airship headed for some far-off destination, telling her "not to come back until she made something of herself"—and, knowing full well she hadn't a bit to her name, would be incapable of doing so until she had.

Additional Information

Her primary character themes are books and knowledge.  As aforementioned, she is antisocial to the extreme, staying locked up in her house all day to do research.  She's an extreme example of a scholar in some ways, as she knows pretty much everything about life except how to properly live hers.  If she had a single wish to spend, she would wish for omniscience.

Her working name right now is "Musty Tome," "Musty" being a word to describe that "old book smell," and "Tome" being part of the book theme, obviously.  While a decent name, I don't think it well encapsulates the character as well as it could.

A couple questions, does she have a color scheme?  Any sort of defining details like her cutie mark. Musty Tome sounds like a more male name

Physical appearance is not yet determined, though golden-yellow eyes are probably going to be part of the design.

Cutie mark will be an open book; sometimes the best approach is the simplest one.

I never really thought Musty Tome sounded like a male name, mostly because some pony names just seem gender-ambiguous.  Dusty Tome, I could see being masculine, but not Musty.
