Hearing Bliss's instructions, Seth clung to the sides of the sheets, holding them for his life. He stiffened up, trying not to move the best he could. After a second, he steadied his breath and looked back up to Bliss.

 

"Sorry... just didn't expect to wake up flying through the air." He called to the alicorn, trying to smile even though he was still fearing his life.

Do you want me to land Seth? *She yelled down to him, taking a moment to hover in place, making it more steady for him* I just wanted to get to the Crystal Empire soon as possible! You were passed out and... I found a map in the cabin and...well I took liberties. Sorry I didn't know you were scared of heights!

 

*She could sense his panic and terror of flying, he was a wolf, it wasn't natural for wolves to be up in the air like this...His fear was overwhleming her alicorn senses...she slowly began to lower down into an open valley area*

Aww that's so cute! *Blight chuckled at her struggles from inside her brain* You take quite alot of pity on Seth don't you!?

 

*Tries to focus as she lowers the wolf while talking in her head* Of course I am... he's helped me several times...GAH *struggles to balance* He's given me a chance to rid myself of the risk of your evil control...And I will help all I can.

 

So true, so true... But admit it, you like him don't you, more then you care to admit!

 

Of course I like him, he's my friend! He's brave and strong, and risked much to save me! Even now he faces his fears of flying ot help us get to the Crystal Empire.

*Shrugs her off* I do NOT love Seth that way! *suddenly dips too fast and struggles to stay air born, now only 3 stories up instead of 4*

 

Oh sure you don't...that's why you nuzzled his cheek, and tended to him when he was unwell. Why didn't you kill him when you had the chance?

 

Shut up... *snorts just as the ground was becoming more comfortablely less distant* You know why I wouldn't kill him...

 

Oh yes the Alicorn of Unity and Peace, yadda yadda. *She shrugged and walked back into the darkness of her mind* Well when your ready to talk to me with some sense, you come and see me little Blissy

*Lands softly on the snow and sits down from the effort, panting and shaking. She took a moment to look up at the sky, she spotted a cloud that looked like the famous shape of a dragon...making her tear up thinking about her husband, who she missed more then ever*

As Bliss attempted to land, Seth's breath softened as he felt her descend. However, with every jolt, he clenched the blanket harder. When they finally reached the ground, Seth untangled himself from the sheet and lied on the ground, hes breath slowly returning to normal. After a second, he turned to Bliss.

 

"Sorry about the sudden freak out, it's just that I... don't have good memories with flying." He said, slight sadness in his voice. He then noticed Bliss's tears on her face. He walked over to her, his leg healing rather well. "Are you ok?" He asked, his voice full of concern.

I want my husband! *she cried out bluntly, like a little filly and pushed her face into her arms and sobbed for several minutes*

 

Gah... *sniffs and tries to wipe the tears away* I'm sorry Seth... It wasn't your fault...I should have waited for you to feel better and...it's my evil self... She says things to me...horrible things... Like that I have strong feelings for you... *Turns and looks up to him then* I admit, you are an amazing creature that I have ever had the privlidge to know, but I don't have feelings for you in that way... *sniffs* I want to make that clear right now...

 

I'm happily married to my...guardian Night Lights... his name has been known in some parts... He's a shape shifting dragon...I miss him dearly...I just hope he's not worried abou tme at the moment... *Sobs* but thats besides the POINT *stands up abruptly and tries to shake off her nerves* I don't care what Blight says..she's trying to throw me off and I WON"T LET HER *snorts abruptly and walks a few feet away, seeming determined more then ever to get to the Crystal Empire.*

As Bliss walked away, Seth didn't know if he was being given a compliment or insulted. As he tried to replay Bliss's conversation in his head, he realized that it was probably not worth the time as she was already leaving for where he assumed the crystal empire was. He began to fallow, not being able to run on the account of his shoulder.

 

"Bliss?" He called to her as he tried to catch up. "Should I ask about the 'love' thing, or just let it go?" He asked.

*Stops in her tracks, a flicker of anger and vampire rage flashed into her eyes, making her think of ripping throats out. Quickly she shook off the though, dug into her true feelings and sighed*

 

The "Love thing"? If you mean that I have feelings for you, then NO not like that. I like you as a friend Seth...*she gave him a gentle smile* I'm sorry if I ever gave you the wrong impression...

 

My...evil self talks to me...and she said otherwise that I have strong feelings for you, but I don't, at least not in that way she mentioned. I do like you, love you even, but only as a friend! *She shook as she stared at him* Your a handsome wolf, take that as a compliment, as well as I'm honored to be your friend. But we will never be lovers... My heart will and always has been, reserved to my Night Lights.

"That's all I wanted to hear." Seth said. He was happy that the relationship was at the way it was, but something inside of him wanted...more. He shook the feeling off as misjudgment an continued on.

 

"Oh, by the way... I might have a bit of information regarding Blight. I think I let her free." He said. "When I was out... Lust told me that he freed Blight because of my weakness."

I noticed... *she shrugged a bit but slowed her pace so she was walking along side him* She spoke to me without my consent, so my magic was either disrupted...or it released her or...the one you call Lust...is stronger then I thought.

 

But my powers didn't restrain her or put her back in her place... My magic tends to have a mind of its own, and acts when it thinks I need help... Prehaps it doesn't see her as a threat for now...I can only hope that's the case... *Snorts*

 

anyways... are you willing to try the flying thing again? Maybe riding on my back this time? I don't think walking to the Empire will get us there any faster...

Seth's muscles tensed at the word 'flight'. He hesitated for a second as he tried to control his fear. "O..Ok... he said. If it was to save Bliss and himself, then he could control himself for the flight.  "Just... fly low to the ground...if you could try." He requested to her.

I'll fly low as I can *she lowered herself down to him and waited for him to hop on* Maybe I can teleport short miles within flight, might help cut down our travel time even more. What do you think? *she flapped her wings eagerly at the idea, getting more motivated then ever to get them some help*.

Seth slowly climbed onto the alicon's back. (remind you of anything? wink wink)  "I'm up for any way to get us to the empire fast. If magic is the way, I'm more than willing." he said, a bit of relief that he was not going to fly the entire way. As he gripped Bliss's back, he couldn't help but feel emotions as he felt the warmness of the alicorn's fur. Seth couldn't quite name the emotion, but it felt... good. "Ready when you are." he called.

*She grinned sensing his emotions flutter about being on her back* Just don't get any ideas up there... *she giggled* Again I am married to a fire breathing shape shifting dragon husband! *She whinnied loudly and kicked off into the air, making the whiplash obvious for a second or two, then straighten out as began to fly at least fifty feet off the ground.*

 

Ok here we go... *focues her mind like her friend taught her in their magic studies* Focus...and...teleport... *her horn bursted a rainbow light glow, making them disappear in a clap of magic, only for them to reappear about a mile from where they first began. She levitated the map and a compass out of her pocket to make sure they got their barrings...then continued to fly, with every few minutes, she'd teleport a mile each time.*

 

*After an hour of flying and teleporting over 65 times...she spotted what looked like to be a large crystal tower* Seth...? *She panted from the weight and over use of magical effort* Is...is that the Crystal Empire...? *The sun that was just beginning to set, beamed through the tower of crystal, making it reflect into her eyes and forcing her to hover in horder to shield them with her large ears*

Seth looked up, slightly daised by the large amount of telporting and flying. What he saw was almost blinding. The light from the the sun mixing with the crystal tower was both beautiful and hurting his eyes. 

 

"Yep. That would be it." He said. Just land over by the main enterence to the palace. With you being a princess and me being a diplomat, we should easily get in."

Just...land in front of the entrance of the palace...? Dang you are direct *she grinned and took his lead, flying over the crystal gate, then over a crystal tran station, then over even more cystal*

 

Wow even the ponies are cystal! *she exlaimed* I've never seen anything like it! It's amazing! *she could hardly hold her excitment as well as nervousness as she landed what looked like the entrance to the palance.

 

Abruptly, as soon as she touched down on the ground... her horn began to glow, shining like the crystal around them...Then in a flash, a light traveled up through her hooves, all the way up her body, till it reached the top of her horn...*

 

What is going on??? *She whinnied just as the light flashed for a second then disperesed, revealing a cyrstal alicorn pony* What...just happened to me? *She turned to Seth, sparkling away along with the rest of the empire*

"Well, last time I tried sneaking into a nation, it ended with-" Seth began before Bliss began to panic. He immediately jumped of Bliss's back and turned to the distressed alicorn. What he met was a crystal goddess. Seth couldn't help but stair at the translucent pony. At the request of what happened, Seth was at a loss for words.

 

"Um... Bliss...you are a crystal pony." He said with a bit of hesitation due to the distraction of the sight before him.

*She galloped to the nearest looking crystal that would better serve as a mirror* .......*starts to hyperventilate some* Oh god oh god oh god oh god *trots in place in her panic* Why did I turn into crystal??? WHY??

 

*Starts to run around in a circle like a wild mustang for several seconds before skidding to a stop in front of her companion*

 

*Pants* ....This...better....be *pants* reverseable!

Seth watched as the mare panicked at the transformation, feeling a bit guilty as he was slightly enjoying the unintentional panic. As he did so, he looked at himself, wandering if the crystal effect had changed him. What met him didn't surprise the wolf. He was still a furry canine. "Raciest magic" Seth muttered to himself with a slight smile.

 

As Bliss calmed herself, Seth came up to her. "You are now a crystal pony. It's only temporary do to the nation being the center of love and joy. If you step out of the boundaries, your back to your regular Blissy self." Seth explained. "My assumption for why I'm not translucent is that wolves are not effected the same way as ponies are to magic. Ready to meet the royalty?" He asked, gesturing to the tower.

Um...um...*her stomach started to feel nausous* um...maybe I should wait out here? Oh no no...stupid me *taps her head* I didn't fly all the way out here to stare at the doors...*Gulps down her fear and anxiety some* Yes...um...ready...I'll...I'll follow you *gulps again and stands next to him, ready to follow him in*

Go on keep acting that way... This is going to be hillarious when you fall flat on your face! *laughed Blight* You sure you don't want me to take over? I could probably entertain the Prince and Princess far better then you anyway!

Seth gave Bliss a reassuring pat on the side as he lead her through the main gate. When they approached the guards, they were halted. 

 

"State your business here." One of the two crystal guards demanded.

 

"Seth Eclipse. Royal diplomat to the equine throne of Canterlot and Alpha-wolf of the Wolven Empire." Seth stated with confidence. "I have come to seek an audience with the crystal prince and princess."

 

"Are you expected?" The same guard asked. 

 

"No. However, this is an urgent matter regarding the royal families. If you don't mind, this is a timely manner." The wolf said with noticeable annoyance.

 

"You may enter." The guard said. allowing Bliss and Seth to enter. After walking into the halls of the structure, Seth turned to Bliss. 

 

"This isn't the first time I've had to do that... Still, I was wandering if it was going to work half way through."

 

---- Bliss's mind

 

Lust walked along the blank plane of existence, looking for a particular shadow-mare. Once spotting Blight watching him from the shadows, he called out to her with a devious grin. "You can't hide from a being born in darkness." He said, approaching the mare. "Now, I have a bit of a proposal for you. How would you like a taste of some royal blood?" He asked.

I have faith in you Seth, really I do! *she nudged his shoulder confidently as they walked passed the guards moments later* It is I who have no confidence... I hardly see other royals other then the gryphon or dragon empires and clans. I've only met Princess Celestia and Luna once...Princess Twilight by sheer accident...before I became an alicorn with her anyway.

 

To personally get a chance to meet her brother, Prince Shining Armor and his wife...the ruler of the Crystal Empire...Princess Memoria Cadence...*The wind suddely picked up, making her large ears flutter up back behind her head like little parachutes, pulling her back slightly.* Oh gods these EARS...Who am i kidding Seth! Look at me! *she stopped and took a full body stance in front of him* I'm a crystal mess! My ears are the size of an elephants, flopping away worse then a bunny's...my tail is like a wild gryphon, unbrushed and...GAH I don't even have my cape or hood to conceal this! ...I can't go in like this...can I?

*She looked up seeing the wolf Lust approach her with his wolfish grin* So you found me master... *she grinned* Royal blood did you say? Well well... *she stood up and approached him, encircling him with her body and tail, making little tickle touches against his sides flirtingly, before finally coming to rest on top of him and nuzzling his ear* What did you have in mind? Master...*she added seductievly*

Seth looked at Bliss, her ears flapping in the breeze, her majestic multicolored tail slowly snacking across the ground. It was too much for the alpha-wolf. After staring at the crystal goddess for a bit longer that he should have, he quickly shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts. 'Come on Seth... You have a job to do!' he mentally scolded himself.

 

"You are fine. Plus, you are a princess. To them, you are their equal. I'm just a diplomat. If they were in our paws... or hooves, wouldn't you want to help them at all cost?" He asked.

 

--Bliss's mind----

 

Lust enjoyed Blights tease. He nipped at her ear playfully, then said. "Even though I love you taking a little blood from my counterpart, I doubt Seth is going to give out donations freely forever." He draped his forearm around Blights midsection, closer to the rump than usual. "So, since my dimwitted Seth has brought us this close to the rulers of the empire of love, all we have to do is wait for them to request a private audience. When we do, we take over and have ourselves a little treat. We gain two more vampires, and the equines loose two royals. A perfect plan if I do say so myself..." Lust said, taking a lick of Blights cheek.

If you say so... I don't feel like im equal to them though, to me I'm just as normal as they come...who just happened to come about on this silly ascention into being an alicorn princess... I wish I had a better choice of this...But...it just happened and... Gah *focuse Blissy...you wan't to be rid of Blight or not?* Sorry I'm rammbling...We should keep going...and I should stop doubting... *even though I can't help it, she thought*

Ooooh didn't know you were so bold master Lust... *she grinned as wolfishly as he did and nipped his ear back before leaping off him, intentionally showing her rear at him for a few seconds display, before turning around* So... shall I take over the stupid mare's brain now? Or right when we get to the throne room. I must admit though to you Master...She is stronger then you think...if it weren't for your assistance I may not have got out of her power's restraints. If you can keep her distracted long enough with your *giggles and whispers cheekily in his ear* your ever so seducing will... I may have a chance to take over her. What do you think?

Lust thought to himself for a bit. "Hmm... Well, if you need a little seducing, then maybe it's time for the master to play his hand. I've been persuading Seth with a little pock here and there in his mind, but he is weak. I might be able to take him now, lock him in as Bliss did to you." He explained, grabbing his mistress in a firm embrace. "All I need you to do is just make Blissy lower her emotional stronghold and take in the charm. With her in my grasp, you will be free to take control. We will walk into the throne room as planned and have ourselves a little pony victory drink." Lust finished, giving Blight a kiss on her mussel. He then let go of his love and stowed off to Seth's side, readying his plan.

 

---Life---

 

Seth acknowledged as he walked further down the halls to the stairwell, that lead to the throne room at the upper portion of the tower. He began to trot up, letting Bliss take the lead due to his still not fully healed leg. As he watched the alicorn climb, he couldn't help the urge to stair at the nicely toned flanks of Bliss. He shook off the thought again, but his mind returned to Bliss. His judgment clouded as he began to feel his body slip away. At first he didn't notice, but after awhile, his mind began to cloud to the point of nearly passing out. "Bliss..." He called before his world faded out. However, his body did't miss a step. As Lust took over all motor functions, he continued to walk up. His eyes turned a slightly green tinted blue, but nothing too unnoticeable. He knew Bliss would feel a change in his mental state, so he focused on... normal stuff, like stairs and...wolf things. 'Hopefully Blight is ready for me.' He thought.

Hmm? Something wrong Seth? *She stopped and turned sensing a sudden spike in his feelings, only for it to sudden tone back to normal. She had sworn he sensed him checking her out. A part of herself felt cheeky and playful at his admiring eye, but the feelings only made her think of her husband Night Lights, and the way he looked at her so similarly.*

 

-- Flash Back --

 

*Her mind drifted to that first adventure she had with her friends and Night Lights...before she became an alicorn and when their relationship had been questioned...Long ago far to the North of the Crystal Empire, at a gryphon Hub, ruled over by the Eastern Gryphon Empire...who still had hated dragons at the time...When Night Lights was chased from the Hub and forced to dwell in the cold regions of the forest alone...and she had gone after him when he flew off.*

 

Blissy??? *he turned in surprise and sore eyes*

 

Nights?? *she gripped his belly tightly* You... you... YOU STUPID DRAGON *she banged her hooves on his scales*

 

*He shut his eyes and let her smack him...even though he couldn't feel it hurt, he could sense her anger and sadness, one hoof at a time* -_-

 

YOU STUPID *bangs* STUPID *bangs* STUPID...*bangs get slowerly....till she falls down on her side* Why did you do it...why...Why did you change into a dragon in the middle of the Hub! You were at the hospital... you could have kept it together in pony form... WHY NIGHTS

 

Because thats' what I am... a stupid dragon Blissy....*he turned his head away* why did you come out here...It's freezing to death for you...go back to the hospital

 

Now you listen here!!! *She flew up and grabed underneath his chin forcing him to look up* I did NOT come all the way out here to leave you here alone in the freezing fall weather, for you to sulk like a hatchling, leaving me alone with our friends in termoil wondering where in the name of Equestria you were!!! *She hugged his beak in both love and anger....She held on to him, sobbing into his scales...he sobbing along with her...

 

They held that position for several moments, with only the sounds of the winds echoing in their ears...till finally she pulled her face up to look him in the eyes*

 

Are we gonna make it...you like this? Nights? Do you even want to be a shifter anymore...?

 

Blissy.... *he cuffed her in his winged claws and nuzzled her belly* I did this for you...so that we may have a choice to be together in forms that I orginally could not... you want me to give it up?

*He took a moment to think it over...then finally answered... * I want us to be happy...I want our friends to be happy...but no matter what I do...I always make mistakes... I get Skylar angry...now Polaris and the others... now your mad at me too...you have every right to be... How am I supposed to work this shap shifting business...if what I am...is always out of control...

Yes I have you... *he focused his mind suddenly and transformed into his pony form, still holding her within his hooves. He started carrying her to some rocks near the edge of the forest* I'm so sorry Blissy...*he nuzzled her* Can you ever forgive me?

I'm not sure... they may need time... but at least we know they can't leave without us right?

 

Heh... you silly mare... you're right *he nuzzled her in even more affection...licking her neck then her belly*

Seriously... what do you see in dragons anyway? *Blight touched her shoulder like an elder sister would when her younger one was distracted* I mean I don't see the appeal to them... they have rough scales...brutalic, not elegant in the slightest, not like... Seth... anyway. :comeatus:

 

Seth is...*her mind foggied up a bit, but she quickly shook off the feeling* Seth is NOT my husband! *She turned on Blight and pointed her horn just so it was under her chin* Why are you back here...taunting me with false ideas for someone I don't LOVE!

 

Now now, no need to get upset my twin sister... *she snickered* I'm just taking notice of your obvious needs and desires. You've been a long way from your... precious... Night Lights for some time now...It's only biological that you want to be with a male. Seth is quite the catch after all.

 

Seth is a handsome wolf... I admit that yes. *She lowered her horn and turned away form Blight* But he is not, and WILL NOT EVER be my husband... I have always been faithful to my Night Lights. Compare any male to him and its laughable. -_-

 

Oh come now Blissy...aren't you tired of being the good little alicorn wife? That story gets old quite fast. *She slithered up like a mist up her back, making her shiver uncomfortably* Haven't you ever wondered what it would be like... to be like me for a change? No care for your actions...no fear of what you do with yourself, or who you are with? Does it get...so frustrating...being trapped by rules and promises...by oaths...? Devoted to a life of rule and worries for others and never about yourself? :comeatus:

Lust is a wonderful male...he would treat you right in every way, far better then your husband...Haven't you longed for...those soft furry paws to embrace your small...sensitive body and-

 

Lust? *She shook off Blight's influence instantly* YOU EVIL...STAY AWAY FROM ME *her horn suddenly ignited, the rainbow light splashing forward in full force, encasing Blight once again in the magical bubble*

*Snorts* If you excuse me... I have a royal audience to see.

*Shakes her head, placing her hoof on her temple, feeling dazed but back in control*

 

Damn that Blight... I can't let my guard down. Come on Seth let's pick up the pace! *She picked up the pace*
