Hiccup peeked out of the corner of his eye to see Toothless crouched behind an air conditioner, ready to pounce on Shadow when the time comes. Hiccup gave a slight "No" motion with his head, so little movement that you would have missed it if you weren't looking for it.

 

"Get the hell out of here Shadow, and you can walk away pain-free."

If its momey that you want then you could just patent all those inventions you make. Im sure, that anything you get out of being evil, you can get from being good."

Hiccup took a step back once he saw the razor-sharp blade, able to cut through his bones easily. He didn't want any unnecessary trouble, so he simply closed his eyes and nodded.

 

"Alright, I'll stay in my place." He put up his hands to show that he's harmless. "Let's just talk man. There's no need for any weapons."

 

Although Hiccup was 100% sincere in his words, Toothless was standing by in-case things get dirty. He was bend down low, ready to pounce in an instant.

 

But when Shadow disregarded Hiccup as a thread, he took that personally. He so desperately fought the urge to yell and attack Shadow, but he knew this was no place to have a fight. So he just swallowed his pride and let it go.
