She's absolutely worthless, completely braindead! Not to mention the fact that all she does is flirt with other guys.* 1337 looked at him coldly. *She obviously has no interest in you now that Rick's here. You're holding on to an empty shell. Just get it over with.*

On the roof, Rain and Rick were making idle chat when suddenly 1337 loomed over them.

*Party's over, sweetheart,* she hissed, and she yanked Rain up roughly. There was a snapping noise and Rain gave a shriek of pain as the shoulder dislocated. 1337 easily flicked Rain against the side of the head and knocked her out again.

1337 looked at Rick and nodded. *'Sup,* she said calmly, as though it was perfectly normal to be holding a limp body on a rooftop.

Shadow appeared right next to 1337 and threw a kick at her chest.

*Uhm,* said 1337, looking at her. *Killing her, I guess?*

A knife appeared in her hands and Rain's body jolted as though being shot through with electricity.

She tried to avoid the kick but it connected, knocking her a little off balance.

*Godammit Shadow, you were more fun as a dangerous psychopath!* she grunted.

1337 grunted but didn't let go.

*Don't make me teleport her into space. Getting your head blown up isn't much fun,* she threatened.

Shadow looked at Rocketeer "Just protect Rain" was all he said before he tackled 1337 and teleported her and him out. They both landed on a beach. Shadow got up and spawned his scythe, waiting for 1337's move.

*Rick stood next to Rain, his face was in tears.*

"God-dammit. I wish there was something I could have done to help."

1337 just held up her hands. Blue light shone from both of them.

*I'm not going to fight you, Shadow. I just want Rain, godammit!*

The ocean behind them exploded into giant waves as though reflecting her mood. *Just give her up already!*

"I'm afraid i cant let that happen" he said teleporting to her side and striking at her with the scythe.

[Apollo 297]

"dont worry, she will be safe in that bubble" rocketeer said to rick

 

"She told me that I had saved her a dozen times already. But how? I canr do anything special." *He sat down and looked at Rain with a sad look on his face.*

For once, when the scythe made contact, 1337 actually made a noise of pain.

5hit. I need to focus.

*Fine,* she said, backing up. *I'll leave her alone. For now.*

Come on, come on...

The ocean was getting louder.

"That's what you said five minutes ago" he said slamming the blunt edge into her chest.

*I lied.*

The ocean then came crashing down on his head with a tremendous amount of force, the riptide sucking him in as the water began to swirl.

Dumbass fell right into that. I can see why him and Rain are such a great pair.

Shadow appeared in front of her.,Catching her off guard. Slamming the pole side into her chest causing her to be thrown to the ground and skid to a stop in the sand "You should know by now i'm a master of clones" he said with a sickening laugh

*Alright Shadow, whatever you say,* she giggled. *Just wait and see what I've got planned...*

1337 teleported away.

Shadow teleported back to where Rain and the group was. propping the scythe up on his shoulder. "That was easier that I expected...." he said.

[Mephala 2,633]

That was when the building next door blew up.

*Whoops!* projected a loud voice. *Sorry guys, I missed.*

The one on its other side blew up as well, and fiery chunks of building rained in the street.

*Oh no! Looks like my aim is worse than usual. But this time? I think I'm going to get it right.*

"Shit" he said projecting his hand out and teleporting the group somewhere else. It was one of his bases. He was the only one left at the building after that.
