TOMahwk 351 March 7, 2012 Share March 7, 2012 (edited) What game are you going to be playing? I haven't uploaded anything to the internet, but I've done a lot of practice recordings myself (audio de-sync prevents me from ever actually doing it), I just ramble on and point out stupid things I see or things characters say: Example: in Metal Gear Solid, guards are talking about an intruder who killed like 3 of their buddies. Then all the sudden they shift their conversation to spraying the vents for rats. In a little test I just rambled on that... Aureity 3,055 March 7, 2012 Share March 7, 2012 Well, basically you just say entertaining commentary on whatever game you're playing. Call out what you think is stupid, or if you find any plot holes. Laugh at what you think is funny, etc. If you're both bronies, and are aiming for a brony audience, you might want to slip in brony references from time to time. For example, if you were playing Pokemon, and just used Ice Beam on some random Pokemon, you could say that he became 20% cooler in 10 seconds flat Basically just let your personality shine through your gaming. Keep cursing to a minimum, and provide entertaining commentary that viewers will want to listen to. A lil' Catherine <(^.^)>
Sepia-chan 495 March 7, 2012 Share March 7, 2012 My advice on doing Let's Plays (from an ameture LPer). Just ramble about what's on your mind, it generally works out and is a lot more interesting than simply talking about the game. I mean, it's okay to talk about the game at some points, but for the most part just speak what's on your mind. It works for me. Objection! Hold it! Take that! Gotcha! Eureka! I like video games and anime.
Colon Leftbracket 971 March 7, 2012 Share March 7, 2012 ANOTHER LP to follow! ARGGHHH! I shall never start mine will I! lol But I'll follow your collab! Just talk naturally. Talk about what's in the game, try to stay on topic. I can't stand when someone makes an LP and tries to make it all about THEM! The LP is supposed to be GOOD commentary. Good commentary Highlights the game, NOT the commentator! So just talk about the game you are playing. [New siggy in progress!]
