open War on PACE: The Begining

(sorry for not posting too much, i was going through depression and my gran died, so sorry again)

 

Nova was smoking with some other troops he had made friends with in jail, today was his release day. He was put in the slammer because he killed a superior who was threatening him. During jail time, Nova developed a split personality who he called 'the shadow' and due to his split personality, he got the nickname 'twoface'. Nova was exited because they said they would get his commander, JT, to pick him up, Nova just hoped JT wouldn't be mad, or more worryingly, he hoped 'the shadow' wouldn't be there.

Hawthorne set up a trap for JT, using nova. When he realized that JT want going to go for the bait, he ordered nova to be sent to the USS regan.

 

JT woke up and looked out of the window, thoughts of his talk with Lydia were king through his head, could he trust her? Should him and rocket leave?

 

Hawthorne sent a message to Lydia, "so how is the killing mission going?"

Blake walked out of the cage out into the open. He started to jog as he needed to find Ben. It was Kindve important to him.

 

Rain hit hank in the head with the back of her gun, knocking him out. "Ok, I'm tired of waiting" she said running away.

 

She eventually found herself at the canterlot castle. Right in the royal palace.

Ben was running at a fast pace through Canterlot, with his railgun on his back. He stopped for a moment, looked around frantically, and then turned left and kept running. He turned another corner and found Blake, jogging down the street. "Blake, have you seen any... flasks lying around here?"

Lydia sighs, "Could I die to save this world? I... I don't know... I want to help people, but I don't want to die either. If... If PACE could give me a place to live, any place would do, then I'd be much more convinced to make a decision... I just want to have someone to care about, after everyone I knew died..."

Ben was running at a fast pace through Canterlot, with his railgun on his back. He stopped for a moment, looked around frantically, and then turned left and kept running. He turned another corner and found Blake, jogging down the street. "Blake, have you seen any... flasks lying around here?"

Blake pointed the gun straight at Ben. His armor made his gun steady. "Like my new armor? State of the line and energy shielded, then with a nano suit underneath and reinforced metal plating with a high tech reading system with my new spinal implants....it's perfect for taking out pace members like you" he said angrily.

Ben's eyes widened and he dropped his railgun. "W-what... PACE members like me? Blake, I'm a researcher! Not a spy!" Ben then narrowed his eyes. "Overlord. Blake, who told you I was in PACE? Was it Overlord?" He looked Blake straight in the eyes. "Are you really going to believe that piece of scrap metal, who tried to kill you twice?"

Ben's eyes widened and he dropped his railgun. "W-what... PACE members like me? Blake, I'm a researcher! Not a spy!" Ben then narrowed his eyes. "Overlord. Blake, who told you I was in PACE? Was it Overlord?" He looked Blake straight in the eyes. "Are you really going to believe that piece of scrap metal, who tried to kill you twice?"

"ARGH I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE" he broke down, he fell to the ground on his knees. "we're out numbered, we're practically going to fucking die, the minute we set foot into the ponies allegiance...we were signing our own death sentence.....I don't know what to do...and now Lydia's a traitor? "I...I don't know..." Ben said. "It's probably too late to go back to PACE... and if we stay here, they'll just keep sending more and more troops until we're dead..." A transport ship flew over their heads and landed outside Canterlot's main gates. More gunfire could be heard as the PACE soldiers fought with the Equestrian military. "I don't know... there has to be something..."

"What about finding a way to destroy their main space station above? If we can some how destroy that, or better take it over. We could stop pace from coming. Plus giving us a place to stay, specially since theirs no way were going back home.." He explained.

"To an extent....but then again I can always learn. But we need a way to clear out that big of a station, were going to need a lot of bullets....if worse comes to worse we might have to just blow it up...." He said shrugging. But something caught his eyes on the radar. Two unknown contacts.

"Well..." Ben said, picking up his railgun. "You're in charge." Ben jumped as the gunfire got louder. "Hey, should we go fight? As long as we're enemies of PACE, we might as well fight them..." He held up his weapon and made a motion to his right. "Shall we, Blake?" Ben gave him a little smile.

"Well..." Ben said, picking up his railgun. "You're in charge." Ben jumped as the gunfire got louder. "Hey, should we go fight? As long as we're enemies of PACE, we might as well fight them..." He held up his weapon and made a motion to his right. "Shall we, Blake?" Ben gave him a little smile.

"Or we could check this out...." He said walking up to a door bashing it open. With the two soldiers aimed their guns at Blake, Blake aimed his gun at one of them, he was a little outnumbered here....but he knew he could take them both. But that was until he saw the hydrogen bomb. "BEN CHECK THIS OUT"

 

"DON'T MOVE" the soldier's commanded to the two intruders.

With the two soldiers aimed their guns at Blake, Blake aimed his gun at one of them, he was a little outnumbered here....but he knew he could take them both. Lydia backs up and blinks a few times, "W-what? I... You're a homicidal maniac! I... I think you're an ok person so long as I don't get you angry, but I don't love you. I'm sorry, but I just don't... I hope you're ok with that. I do want to be friends with you, but I can't love you."

Lydia nods, "Yeah I got into a crash the day I found out about the explosion. I drove home the moment I heard, and I passed out on the road. The next time I woke up I was in the emergency room I found out I had killed someone... My hometown was named Halifax Bay, Nova Scotia. Why do you ask?"

With that Blake aimed at the other and took him out. His shields then quickly recharged and then the shield disappeared "we need to do something with this bomb..."

Ben was amazed at Blake's abilities and, especially, his armor. "Nice job!" Ben ran over to the bomb. "Oh boy... hydrogen bombs..." He frowned. "I'm not so sure I know how to disable this thing... what do we do?" Ben examined the bomb for a timer of some sort. Nothing. "Hmmm... I think this will be manually detonated..."
