"Really. Who is your favorite country music artist" she asked. She was excited, for some reason. And he was the reason she was excited. I hope he likes the music I came up with. I cant wait until when it's time so I can show him the music and play for him and show him want she has.

"Okay." Thunder stated as he walked over to an empty room with a piano. Thunder then began to play a pop song in a minor.  "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger

Doesn't mean I'm over 'cause you're gone..." Thunder sang and ended the sample. He then looked at Star.

"WOW!" I shouted. His voice was sooo pretty. "You do have the voice of an angel. I was a little suspicious at first, but you really do." I said 

"You know, I get the feeling this club is going to turn out nice and fine. There's also the fact that we are all good singers here. So you have been going to this school for how long? Why'd you want to join the club, hmm?" Star Ruby asked

Star Ruby looked at him directly., Then she noticed something about him she never noticed with other ponies.

"Well...I'm a musician. I've been one for the past 15 years. I'm eighteen now so I started when I was three years old. That was before I picked up flying as a secondary hobby." Thunder stated as he combed the back of his mane. "Great...now I've got two mares after me..." He thought to himself.

"So a musician, huh? Better than me. I didn't even plan to become a part of this singing group or anything. Somepony told me my singing was really great one day and since there was a singing club, I decided to join to improve." Star Ruby said

"Of course there's always competition." Star Ruby said raising my eyebrows "And that means we have to be the best WE CAN BE!"

Star Ruby jumped up. Then she stopped and sat down.

"Of course that means this club must show the world we are the best and how would one accomplish that hmm?" she looked at Thunder.

Star Ruby got up and paced back and forth thinking. She had to problems in her hooves she didn't know how to deal with. One: Finding a way to convince the leader to find a way to tell the world that this was the best club ever. Two: Deal with her inner feeling for Thunder. It was either hate or love and she was sure it wasn't hate.

Thunder also had something on his mind. He wanted to talk to StarShine about her pride and how it won't get them anywhere if she just hogs it all on her own. Then, if Star Shine wanted to be his girlfriend, then he did not want to upset Star Ruby. StarShine had a bigger ego, and she needed to be taught a lesson that actions speak louder than words. Even though she had been singing since she was a foal, that didn't mean that she should constantly brag about herself saying she was the best of the group, because there was always somepony better. "Exactly...but that doesn't mean we declare ourselves the best. We must be humble and let the world say we are best, instead of us saying we're the best." Thunder stated.

"Oh, Heh, Thunder?" she looked back through the door. "Do you know where starshine is?" Star Ruby asked while tapping her hooves impatiently

"Oh I like a lot of Country Music artist like Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, Blake Shelton, Reba McEntire" He said as he named a few of his favorite country music artist. "What Country Artist do you like Skull Dust" He asked her. "Or if you don't really have one what are your favorite Gospel artist"

"I'd certainly have to agree with that. Because if she were to bring herself in front of judges for Trottway, they would neglect her because she thinks she can do it on her own and she's the best." Thunder said softly back. He hoped that StarShine wasn't hearing them.

"What's trottway?" Star Ruby asked "This is a club. That means we would all have to work together, as a team. There's no way she could kick us out to the pasture, right?" Star Ruby whispered. She suddenly stopped and turned around. "Is trotttway like a music competition thingy?"

"It's where all of the great music productions occur, such as "Hinney of the Hills" that was just there not to long ago. "Well...the only way she could kick us out is if her pride gets out of control, which I hope it doesn't. The main problem she has is that SHE will lead US to victory with HER efforts. She makes it act like a one-man-show. That's why I say she doesn't have what it takes to be a leader." Thunder stated softly.

Risks, risks and more risks. The sun was beginning to sink as she could see through one window and maybe seeing starshine today was a bad idea.

"You, it's getting dark and soon, i'll have to leave. I'll have to tell starshine tomorrow. But here are four ponies in the club right? What happens if the votes get, even? Starshine might not even agree to this voting thing. She did start this club after all right?" Star Ruby whispered as the shadows began to creep up the wall next to her as the sun began to sink.

"Okay." Thunder stated as he made sure he had his things. He then left out the place and flew to a hotel he was staying for the time being. He would rather fly back to the comfort of his home in Cloudsdale, but since is was far away, he rented out a hotel instead.

"I don't really know any Gospel singers but I like the same as you and a few more like Carrie Underwood, George Strait, and George Jones" Skull Dust answered. 'He likes the good ones like I do. That's great. Hey why am I holding on to every word of his' She thought.

"Well that great" He said. "I almost forgot about Carrie Underwood, she has great music also...though I am glad me and her like the same..." He said to himself. "So uh...besides singing and writing music what do you like to do for fun" He asked her. "If you're okay with answering that is"

"I like to write stories, and dance" she answered. "What about you?" she asked. "If you don't mind answering" 'This is really cool we have things in common. I wonder what else he does for fun. This is really cool hopefully I have a friend and one with the same interests' she thought

"I like to dance...but I don't really know how to" Shiranui looked down. "I also like to draw, write poems or haiku" He looked away. "I'm not very exciting to tell the truth, just a normal everyday pony" He looked at the ground and sighed. "I probably seem boring to you know huh?"
