Paparazzi commentary in MLP

I noticed that Twilight Time was a commentary on the nature of the paparazzi.  It wasn't the first, of course (Green Isn't Your Color).  I like how they've been able to subtly show how ridiculous the paparazzi are without getting in the way of the morals of episodes.

That I totally have to agree with. Paparazzis are very annoying and unnecessary. This is especially for Fluttershy, as she is very sensitive.

At least they were subtle about it, now we see why Fluttershy was sensitive about it.

well, as long as someone pays money for pictures of famous people, the paparazzi will exist.

I feel like 'Twilight Time' wasn't a commentary on Paparazzi, because it really didn't take a stance. I mean the children were acting silly, but their portrayal was more a commentary on how people in today's society latch on to titles or social statuses without any other purpose than, "Oh, hey they have a title now, they must be cool." It's exemplified in DT's "At first I thought Twilight was whatever, but she's a princess now!"

Honestly, people who complain about paparazzi are idiots.

 

It's their job. And guess who they're working for? YOU, the viewer. You the viewer are watching the stuff they photograph, video tape, etc. You demand it, they provide it.

 

And if you're a rich athlete or celebrity or whatever, if you're going to cry and complain about people taking pictures of you, then seriously, get a damn clue. That's what you signed up for when you decided to live the high life. Cry me a river.

Yeah Twilight Time was more about celebrity and especially obsessive fandoms. Not that Bronies are obsessive. It was also parody on the whole Tween fan reaction right down to DT considering dying her tail and having books as a design element.
