Winter has arrived...

 

For countless years the three different pony tribes have maintained a somewhat cold, distant trade agreement with one another. The Earth Pony Republic would farm the land, growing crops to feed themselves with. For a percentage of those crops, the Pegasus Dominion would provide their land dwelling cousins with favorable weather in which to grow food.  The Unicorn Kingdom, ruled by the royal family, also demanded a percentage of the Republic's crops in exchange for raising and lowering the moon and the sun. 

 

However, there is a chill in the air that has nothing to do with the snow that is falling upon the land.

 

The prolonged winter has put major strains on the Republic's ability to grow their crops. As food supplies have started to run low and no signs of the winter coming to an end the normally icy tensions between the tribes is growing more and more tense by the day. A summit is being organized so that all three tribes may sit down and discuss what is going on, but things are already in mention within each tribe.  

 

The Earth Pony Republic, aware that food is growing scarce and that they have the biggest remaining stockpile have began to put away their currently useless plows and instead forging arms and armor while taking the time to learn their use. They had learned long ago that blood and bone helped plants grow big and strong and if those winged thugs and horned snobs wanted to aid with their farming then who were they to say no...

 

Having lost their only supply of food when the strange winter proved impossible to forcefully end, frightened whispers have began to spread throughout the Pegasus Dominion. While attempts to end the unnatural snowfall continue without success, certain elements of the Dominion are drawing up battle plans and sending scouts to locate the food stockpiles of the Republic and the Kingdom. Rumors that Commander Hurricane might not be strong willed enough to do what needs to be done to secure the Dominions survival in these harsh times are also spreading, along with possibly replacements if those rumors prove true...

 

The current famine has put even greater strain on the royal family of the Unicorn Kingdom then normal. Already the home of numerous royal families plotting and scheming to seize power for themselves and their own kin, the current crisis is merely the opportunity that many of the self absorbed power players have been waiting for in order to claim the throne for themselves. Well aware of the enemies within, the royal family has also been forced to divide their attention to those without as well. The current king is not the only unicorn royal family to be eying the supplies of the nearby Republic and Dominion however...

 

Set before the Summit between the three pony tribes to decide how to handle the unnaturally long winter plaguing their lands, unrest has settled in the tribes as the situation continues to deteriorate as the food begins to run out.

 

There are two symbols for Chaos: Danger and Opportunity. As order starts to break down, how will you react to the changing world?

 

While the logical character choice would be one of the pony tribes, I am not above having a non pony character provided A) You can justify why such a character is present and B )You have to give (I.E Create) some information on their characters race in relation to current events. 

 

This is open for players, so I hope to see what people come up with soon.
