Clayton sighed as he woke up and trotted through the village. He soon found himself at the dragon training academy, and noticed Blueblood. He simply walked past the unicorn and noticed that Ruby and Tempest were already there. "Well, the gangs all here." He said, laughing slightly.

 

Orion sighed as he woke up. He then stood up and made his way to the others.

"Good morning to you Tenebra" She said as she got up off the ground. "Well...I'm not going to be sleeping on a tree branch again, it wasn't comfortable and neither was falling from the tree fun" She aid as he shook the dirt off of herself till she heard Gale. "I was just heading off to get something to eat, like fish from the river" She said

Ruby gave Luna a annoyed look "hello Luna" Ruby resisted rolling her eyes at her."oh and morning Clayton"

"Hmm yea I am feeling quite hungry i guess we should get some fish from the river " Tenebra said "well sleeping on a tree seems fun saphira" she said jokingly

"Just because I prefer peace doesn't mean i'll take the initiative to hit you up side the head" Saphira said before flaying off to the river. "Okay...catching fish should be easy" She said as she watched the water. "Just got to wait till one appears and snatch it" She said to her self

Gale laughed slightly, and simply sat down at the edge of the river. She waited patiently, and thrust her head into the water whenever she noticed a fish. The dragoness caught a few, but some got away. "Come on you lousy things." She muttered under her breath. A fish then jumped out of the water and smacked Gale with it's tail, making the dragoness even more frustrated.

 

Luna sighed, and noticed that all of the recruits were there. "Anyway, welcome to dragon training. Now, then let's get started." He said, before pulling a leaver. A dragon with a brown hide and short wings then crashed through the cage doors. "Now then, how many shots does a Gronkle have?"

 

The cyan pegesus jumped out of the way as the dragon tried to ram him. "Five?" He asked, not really caring if he got the question right.

 

(I figured that the dragons could be the same from the movie.)

Saphira kept catching fish with he mouth and claws before looking at Gale and laughed seeing her get smacked by a fish. "Try to burn them if they try to do that again" SHe said as she caught another fish. "My parents taught me how to catch fish before they..." He faded off

Tenebra caught a decent amount of fish "eh this is easy really well i usually hunt for fish on lakes and larger rivers because those places tend to be loaded with fish and or resort to fishes that live in the ocean though i'd have i'd have to dive into the water to get them which i have gotten use to" she said.

Ruby placed a hoof under her chin "umm seven?"

Clayton smirked as he narrowly dodged a fireball. "Six?" He said, not really paying attention.

 

Orion smiled slightly, and looked into the river. He then stuck his head in and caught five fish in one go. "I guess that's one of the many perks to having a big head." He thought, as he set the fish down.

Luna nodded, and glanced at Clayton. "Correct. That's more than enough for each of you." He said. "Now, what's the most important piece of equipment?"

 

"A shield." Tempest said, as he picked up said item. He then turned to face the Gronkle, only to see it coming straight at him. He jumped out of the way of the charging dragon.

 

Luna nodded, and smirked. "Good. If you have a choice between a sword and shield, take the shield." She said.

"Yeah I usually hunt for fish in streams like this because there are big fish swimming down streams, in lakes there are usually a bunch of smaller ones at times" She said as she caught another fish. "Really though, I hate swimming to tell the truth" Saphira said as she looked at all the fish they caught

Tenebra caught 3 more fishes before speaking "eh i usually hunt anywhere a long there's fish that aren't filled with sharp spines and poison stupid lion fishes that live in the ocean"

Ruby was getting a tad bit bored at dragon training though she still listens to what Luna has to say.

"There is a way to eat those fish withou being poisoned...though the one fish I hate the most has got to be eels..." She said before thinking of something. "We poison the queen with lion fish" Saphira suggested. "Then again she might not be so foolish to eat the fish

Tempest looked up in time to see Blueblood's shield get blasted out of his hooves. "Blueblood, you're out." Luna said, as said unicorn trotted out of the arena.

 

The cyan pegesus smirked as Blueblood left. Tempest then felt like multiple sets of eyes were boring into him, and he figured that the dragons in the cages were looking at him. "The others can not find out." He thought, as he stuck to the edge of the arena.

 

The Gronkle flew above the ground, and looked at the ponies. It then fired two shots, one each at Ruby and Clay.

 

Gale shrugged. 'It's still a good idea." She said, looking at Saphira.

Ruby dodged the fireball just in time.

"You know whats annoying to eat? Octopuses its like no matter how much you chew and rip them apart their still got dam moving and if they aren't in your mouth they will cling on to your wings even if your flying and i'm pretty sure most dragons are immune to lion fish poison" Tenebra said.

"I guess it could work...but what if it doesn't work" Saphira said. "Besides....she is a huge dragon so she would need a huge platter in order to be affected by the poison...unless she eats a larger dose of the poison" Saphira said as she tried to think of an idea. "I got nothing"

Clayton's shield burst into flames, and he threw it onto the ground. "Looks, like it's Tempest and Ruby, then." He thought, as he trotted out of the arena. He simply watched through the bars. The unicorn felt bad for the dragons in the cage, but knew that they would be freed soon.

The Gronkle glared at Tempest, and flew right at him. "Fight me, coward." She growled.

 

The cyan pegesus smirked, as he dodged the attack. "Fine, but you asked for it." He whispered. Tempest landed on the ground, just as the Gronkle recovered from the failed charge.

 

The dragon growled slightly, and flew into the air. It then flew directly at Ruby, getting ready to fire at her.

Saphiras ears perked up as she heared another dragon. "I'll be right back" She said as she flew off and saw an arena. She saw what was going on and sighed before landing near it. "Why is all of that going on in there" She asked herself. "I guess there are those rare ponies..." She said as she started to leave

Ruby stood her ground ready to deflect or dodge any attacks.

 

Tenebra continued on catching fishes until eventuly the pile of fish she has is now decently big she stops and started eating the fishes she had caught she waited for Saphira to come back.

Saphira came back and started eating. "I need to stop hearing things all the time you know" She said as he looked at Tenebra. "You caught a lot of fish, I wasn't even gone that long either" She said as she cooked one of the fishes with fire before eating it. "Perks of being a dragon, you can cook the fish without needing wood or anything else" She said

The Gronkle rammed into Ruby, sending her to the ground, before heading after Tempest. The dragon then shot a ball of fire at the cyan pegesus, knocking his shield out of his hoove and making it roll away.

 

The cyan pegesus sighed, as he galloped after the shield with the Gronkle hot on his tail. Tempest slipped, and hit a wall.

 

Luna was slightly surprised by this, and got ready to intervene. "Tempest." She yelled.

 

The Gronkle landed just a mere foot from Tempest, and got ready to fire.

Orion shrugged, as he ate his fish. "I usually just eat it raw. It doesn't really harm our bodies, and it takes longer to digest. I guess we would have to cook it for the ponies, though I'm not sure if they really eat fish." He said.

 

Clayton had to stop himself from jumping into the ring. "He'll be fine." He thought, slightly worried about Tempest.

"I think fish taste better when cooked to tell the truth, though Ponies can't eat it raw or they get sick....unless they can eat it raw without getting sick but I highly doubt that is possible" She said as she cooked another fish before eating it. "Anyways Igotsick from tryingtoeat a Blowfish once" She said

Tempest looked into the eyes of the Gronkle, and the ducked as it fired. The fire charred the wall behind him.

 

Luna trotted up to the Gronkcle and pulled it away with a hooked stick. "That's enough. Get back in you're cage you overgrown lizard." She said as she threw the dragon into it's pen and shut the door. "Remember, a dragon will always go for the kill."

 

The cyan pegesus rolled his eyes as he stood up."That's where you're wrong, Luna." He thought. Tempest then trotted out of the arena, and towards the village.

 

Gale smiled slightly, as she ate a few of the fish she caught."I guess we've all had our bad experiences with our food." She said.

"Well blowfishes are poisonous thats why plus i can't really cook the fishes her since i don't breathe fire instead i just spit out blast of plasma that explode on impact which is not a good cooking method at all" Tenebra said as she ate another fish.

Ruby rolled her eyes "you know the dragon is attacking out of self defense also their overgrown lizards with the power to kill you so get a better brain Luna" she said aloud and started flying towards the Arena exit.
