Clayton nodded slightly. "Ok. I guess I'll just look on the ground then." He said, feeling foolish. The unicorn then sighed as he looked around. He could already see ponies coming back from wherever they had been. "Well, it's good to see a few ponies survived." He thought.

 

Orion sighed. He had been unable to find Tempest or Gale, and was very worried for the both of them.

As the ash began to settle, Celestia trotted along the beach. "Tempest, where are you?" She yelled.  After a few more paces, she soon saw the outline of a black dragon laying next to the burnt skeleton of the large dragon that had just been defeated. The chief then began to gallop towards Gale. When she looked over the dragoness, she saw no signs of the cyan pegesus. Celestia felt a pang of sadness in her chest, and sighed. "Tempest, I'm sorry." She said. A few of the other ponies noticed the scene, but kept their distance.

 

Dark noticed Celestia, but didn't exactly try to stop her. "If she hurts Gale, I'll kill her." She growled.

 

Tempest drifted through his consciousness, not really knowing if he lived or died. He watched the memories of his life go by, from the times he and his parents would train and spend time together, to their death and him meeting the dragons. "I think I get that riddle, now." He said, as a smile spread across his muzzle. A bright light then filled his mind, and Tempest found himself standing in front of a Night Fury that was slightly larger than Gale.

 

"It's about time you accepted your more... draconian side." He said, as he held his snout out to Tempest.

 

The cyan pegesus nodded, and touched the dragon on the nose. His mind was then filled with light, and the dragon went into his body. "I might as well wait for my body to recover." Tempest thought.

Orion noticed Gale's limp body, and was shocked. "No. No, she can't be." He growled. The dragon was to afraid to move.

 

Clayton glanced at Celestia, and noticed Gale. "Where's Tempest? He has to be around here somewhere." He thought, his mind going a mile a minute just to comprehend what was happening.

Dark sighed, as she walked to Orion. She didn't know what to do, but she was hoping that Tempest and Gale were ok. "They'll live." She said, with a twinge of desperation in her voice. "They have to."

 

Celestia sighed, as she stood up. She didn't know what to do, but she wasn't about to give up yet. "Please, let them be ok." She thought to herself.

Tenebra ran towards Gale and nudged her "Gale please wake up please..." she whispered

 

Ruby landed next to Celestia she had a blank expression on her face oddly enough she looked at Celestia and scowled she still didn't like her though. "i hope their alright" Ruby thought to herself.

Gale groaned in pain, as she lifted her head to see her mother, Celestia, and Ruby. "I was wondering when you guys would show up." She said, weakly.

 

Celestia was slightly surprised that the dragon was still alive. She then sighed. "Please, tell me Tempest is safe." She said.

 

The dragoness glanced at Celestia, and looked in between the spaces in her wings. She then opened them to reveal the unconscious body of Tempest.

 

Celestia smiled, as she leaned down to feel Tempest's heart. When she felt a faint pulse, her excitement got the better of her. "He's alive." She said. "You brought him back alive." Celestia could already hear the cheers from the other ponies, and felt relieved. She then glanced at Ruby. "I'm sorry. I should've listened."

Orion smiled slightly, and felt relieved. He then looked at all the ponies cheering, and sighed. "I guess we're all heading back to Equestria." He said.

 

Clayton sighed in relief, as he trotted towards Gale and the others. "We should get them both back to the village. They may need to see a healer." He said.

Ruby smirked "Yea no more putting fire breathing lizards of awesome in cages " she said exitedly "well Clayton is right they might need to see a healer" 

 

Tenebra smiled slightly "oh thank goodness your alright Gale" she said as she tried to hug Gale.

Celestia nodded slightly, and looked to the ships. A few of them weren't to badly damaged from Jourmador flame and were still usable. Thankfully, most of the other ponies were heading for the boats already. "I guess we're going to have to make a few changes in the village. It'll be ashame to let the arena go to waste." She said, glancing at Ruby. The chief then began to trot towards the ships and boarded one.

 

Dark smiled slightly, and sighed. "It seems we have a new king." She mused to herself, before flying into the air.

 

Gale smiled, and stood up. "It's good to see you to, mom." She said, before using her head to secure Tempest onto her back. The dragoness then roared in excitement as she flew into the air.

 

(I'll have to do a time skip to when Tempest wakes up in my next post.)

Clayton smiled slightly, and got on Orion's back. He looked at the dragon, and scratched behind one of his horns. "Well bud, it looks like things worked out."

 

Orion glanced at Clayton and purred slightly, before flying into the air. "It's good to be free of that thing's influence." He said.

Ruby got onto Tenebra's back "back to equestria we go!" she said Tenebra spreaded her wings and took to the skies she followed Orion "well that was fun i wished i could have battled Jourmador though" Tenebra said.

(1 week later)

 

Tempest groaned as he slowly opened his eyes. What he found surprised him. The cyan pegesus was back in his house on Equestria. He then noticed Gale, as she jumped onto the bed and furiously licked him. "It's about time you woke up." She said.

 

The cyan pegesus smiled slightly, and gently pushed Gale off of him. "Does anypony know you're here?" He asked.

 

Gale smiled slightly, and motioned for Tempest to go outside. "Why don't you see for yourself." She said.

 

Tempest sighed, as he slowly trotted towards the door. As soon as he opened it, he saw the most beautiful sight. Ponies were going about their daily lives, but with dragons in plain sight. "I knew it. I'm dead." He said.

 

Celestia laughed as she trotted besides Tempest. "No, but you gave it your best shot." She said.

 

At that point, most of the ponies and dragons had noticed Tempest, and were already galloping towards him. When they reached his house, every pony in the village congratulated him for what he had done. A few of the dragons even bowed.

 

Gale then opened the door to Tempest's house, and barreled through the ponies surrounding Tempest. "Come on. I've been waiting so long to fly." She said.

 

The cyan pegesus smiled slightly, and got on Gale. The dragoness then flew into the air, letting out a audible roar.

 

(Before we end things, I want to thank all of those who have participated in the RP. This has been a major success in my eyes, and I will be doing a sequel that is a loose adaptation of how I think the second movie will go. Wrap things up here, and I'll try to get the sequel out as soon as possible.)

Orion roared as he flew next to Gale. Clayton was on his back, and the two were honestly happy with each other. It had taken some time, but he, along with the other dragons and riders, had finally managed to break through the cloud of hate that clouded the minds of ponies, and the driving force of the dragon raids. They even had a new king, and he would undoubtedly be far more kind.

Tenebra roared and flew next to Gale. Ruby was riding on Tenebra's back "Woo hoo Tempest is awake!" she said exitedly it took a while for them and tenebra to get along she was incredibly happy when dragons and ponies had finaly become allies.
