Dash and Fluttershy landed on the island on high alert.

 

"Anypony, or griffon, threatens us, we'll kill em. Got it?" She looked to Nightmare Fluttershy, who nodded in glee at the thought.

It seemed as if the nightmare force didn't hear him. Gearhart looked at them closer, "THEY'RE FAKE" he said as his hand went throgh the ilusion. He speedily went to the island. As he landed on the ground in front of them he said "You won't get away this time!" Gearhart broke his weapon landing so he desided to get duel swords instead.

Dash saw a stallion running to them, and she immediatly knew he was a threat. She screamed a war cry and spun to face him.

 

"What do you think your doing?" She sneered "your nothing!"

 

Fluttershy flew into the air, her intent was to ambush him from above. She drew a sword, and spireled downwards.

"NICE TRY!!!" Gearhart said as he shot one spiral into the air countering her atack. "This one's for you!" he said charging at Dash. The blow had made his weapon dull but he easily regenerated it. "Is that the best I can get of two nightmare soldiers?!" He watched as Flutters came to the ground and Rainbow had one big spiral going throgh her, Gearhart awated her last words.

Nightmare Dash gasped, blood trickling from her mouth. Her breath was ragged as she choked out, "L-long live... Nightmare Twilight!" She collapsed.

 

Seeing Dash laying aparently dead on the ground, Fluttershy flew off twarss the horizon. She needed to get celestia herself, or her fate at the hooves of Twilight would be even Worse the Dash's now.

As Gearhart saw Flutters fly away he couldn't allow her to leave. He had charged towards Flutters and brang her to the ground. "You're not going anywhere until you tell me who sent you" Gearhart knew that any moron could answer that question, but it would deffinatly break her.

Nightmare Twilight stepped into the castle courtyard. Below stood the two condemed ponies, who were quakeing so violently that there hooves clipped and clopped on the cobblestones.

Twilight smiled in anticipation.

Twilight looked out on to the square, where thousands of ponies stood to watch the executions. In reality they had no choice, if they didn't attend they could be executed themselves. Twilight stepped onto the scaffold and addressed the crowd

'Behold your Queen. This is the fate of all traitors. You must love and worship your Queen, and in return, you will be safe. Unlike these two, who joined the Celestia Crusaders and worked to try and kill me.'

Twilight turned to Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon and asked 'any last words?'

Silver Spoon was too terrified to speak but Diamond Tiara found her courage ' Long live Equestria and the true princess, Celestia!'

'Enough!' Twilight shouted. She magically lifted the axe and in two swift moves, cut both their heads off.

 

In the crowd three fillies watched in horror. 'This is madness' the pegasus, Scootaloo said.

'We must organize another meeting,' the unicorn, Sweetie Bell replied.

'Agreed,' said another, Applebloom as they trotted sadly away from the square.

Charles then went to his room while thinking about this as he was looking back then thinking about Celesita too and was looking at the guards. “Keep watch and Make sure Celestia is safe.” Then he went to his room while was tired too.

Gearhart saw the look on her face, she was so scared, but not of dieing. As if Twilight had done somthing to her that made her angry at not only herself but dieing. "Fluttershy, get up" Gearhart said, she didn't respond ,but she did get up. "Good, now please don't do anything fishy or i'll have to put you down, K?"

Dex walked into the nearest town and saw people going about their day, as per the usual. He went into the bar and saw a shady looking fellow in the corner. He walked up to the guy, took out a sack of coins, and dropped them on the table."Celestia. what do you know?" he asked. The man looked up and saw Dex'x face.

 

"Well, well. Been a while since you came to me for information." The shady guy said, "All I know is that she got ran out of her kingdom by some little upstart. A real shame too, the new ruler is having people executed left and right. I can't get spies anywhere near her palace." 

 

"Stay on topic," Dex said, "Where is she?"

 

"As far as I know, she crossed into Evora when she fled. I know she probably wouldn't go as far as Victoria, and Unicornia is right out, They really hate her guts." Shady man said

 

"Good, she's probably still in the country. Do you know where?" Dex asked.

 

"If I were her, I'd be in a pretty deep hole right now, that's all I got." Shady man said.

 

Dex turned to leave when the shady guy called out, "And you may want to tread carefully, the new ruler wants Celestia's head pretty bad. I wouldn't be surprised If she had some of her underlings combing around to find her."

 

With that, Dex left the bar to begin his search.

"Well, I guess this is what I get for not thinking about what this ruler looks like." Jonathan said tapping his foot impatiently. "Agh, where is this pony?!"

Now that Fluttershy can't get away Gearhart thoght it would be a good idea to bring her to the base of operations. "Hey Flutters, let's make a deal, I bring you to our base and you keep quite the way there, deal?" Gearhart awated her responce.

Today was a busy day for Celestia, the Prime Minister of Evora had finally given her an audience. 'Spike' she called out.

'Yes, your Highness,'

'Spike, please, I am a princess no longer'

'You will always be the true princess of Equestria.'

Celestia blushed. Spike had been a faithful student since they both fled Equestria. Always eager to please, Nightmare Twilight tried to corrupt Spike's mind before Luna broke into his dreams to rescue him.

'Will the Prime minister give us aid?'

Spike asked.

'I do not know Spike.' Celestia replied, but she already knew the answer. Evora would not help her, Celestia had even heard rumors that the Prime Minister wanted to hand her over to Twilight.

She could not blame him. Nightmare Twilight was the most powerful force Celestia had ever faced. She alone could crush Evora's armies. Let alone the other five.

Gearhart knew this was risky, but he knew that the fluttershy that Celestia knew was still in there, he just needed to find some spell in the library and ask Celstia to preform it. It would be risky sending an enemy into the base of operations, but it would possibly give them an even more powerful ally.

Dex walked into the capital city of Evora and immediately noticed an increase in guards from the last time he was here. "Well that proves it," He said, "Celestia is in the city." she was probably being held as a guest/bargaining chip of the Evoran government. 

 

The buildings of the capital were relatively close together so he climbed up onto one and made his way to the Castle via rooftop so as to avoid being seen. Once the castle was within sight, he reached into the bag he was carrying and took out what looked like a stick of dynamite with no fuse. he then took out a roll of string and cut a particularly long piece, stuck it in, lit it and put it on the roof. He then looked and saw a grate in an alley. "There you are" He said

 

He climbed down, opened the grate, and hopped inside. He landed on a pathway, right beside a stream of waste and filth. "Now I remember why I hate sneaking in here." he said to himself.

He traveled the underground pathway and repeated to himself "Left, Right, straight, Right, Left, Center" Soon he came upon a ladder leading to another grate. He went up the ladder and climbed out of the grate to find himself right inside the wall of the castle, under a set of stairs. The main courtyard was crawling with guards, but he smirked. The dynamite then exploded with a loud BOOM. It was more noisy than destructive, but it was enough to distract the guards. The guards double timed it out of the courtyard, allowing him to sneak by. soon he found himself in a hall way, when he heard a guard coming. He dove into a door on his right, a supply closet, and waited.

 

When the guard got close enough, Dex grabbed him and pulled him in, quickly putting a hand over his mouth and a knife to his throat. "I'm gonna take my hand away, and you're gonna tell me where Celestia is." The guard quickly nodded and Dex took his hand away. "She's up in the guest quarters 1 floor up."

 

"Good." Dex said, "Sweet dreams." Dex then laid a punch to the side of his head, knocking him out. He then checked the hall and moved when it was all clear. Soon he reached his destination and knocked on the door.

With the approach of this new being, shadows came up around the Jester of Death, cloaking him from view, yet allowing him vision of the target. His skull-mask that bound him to his body smiled slightly. Perhaps they were not the only ones in it for revenge only after all- although he never had seen this... two legged thing before. Perhaps from a different country, one that he had not seen. He only dealt with ponies- Death probably knew his kind, and he would inquire later. He looked at him sideways again before stepping out of the shadows. "Might I inquire your intent? Celestia is resting." Or... at least... so he had thought, considering that he was yet to meet with an answer for his audience. He looked about him, trying to divine something from his position and his movements.

'Should I open the door?' Spike asked.

'Of course,' Celestia replied.

A short while later Spike showed the visitor into the guest quarters.

'Hello Princess,' the visitor said 'my name is Dex, and I have come to warn you , you must not go to the Houses of Parliament,'

'Why not?' Celestia asked

' Because your Highness, there are fifty soldiers with rifles and bayonets who are there to arrest you. Come with me Celestia, and you will be safe!'

((As a heads-up, Fluffy Unicorn, that was a prime example of godmodding- playing someone else's character without permission. You are able to get away with it to a lesser degree because you're the GM, but keep an eye out for it next time.))

He quickly trotted to halfway through the stairs before calling to White and Shadow Seer, who trotted up the stairs quickly. "We are leaving, then? Where to, madam?" said Shadow Seer, pity in her eyes.

"We will get out the way I came in. We have to go down to the bottom of the castle, toward the courtyard." Dex said, answering Shadow seer's question. "Move calmly so they won't suspect you. They don't know I'm here so I will take a different way. I'll meet you there."

 

Dex then left the room and quietly snuck back the way he came. Once e reaced the courtyard, he saw that the earlier distraction was still working for him; no guards were around.

"These guys aren't very bright, are they?" he asked himself. he found the grate under the steps and waited there for the others.

Jonathan was in a bar having a good drink since he gave up looking for this ruler. "Ah, that's delicious!" Jonathan got up and left the money on the table, as he walked out he heard a distant boom that caught his attention. 'Oh, I wonder what's going on over there....' Jonathan knew he should not get involved but it was coming near the castle which made him even more interested. With a grin at the hope of new found fun Jonathan made his way to the castle.

"Well, I expected it to be a little bigger." Jonathan had reached the spot where the explosion happened though he only saw Smoke comin from the rooftop. "We'll, I would say this explosion sucks I don't think it even made a dent!" Jonathan said to himself, criticizing whoever made it. "YOU THERE HALT!!!" Jonathan turned around just in time to avoid being tackled to the ground by a group of guards who came to investigate. 'Ah crap, just my luck' Jonathan thought blocking a punch and counter-attacking by givin the attacker a swift kick. "Come on show me what you got!"
