I run out of the sleeping bag and poke Broken as fast as possible then run back. "Heheheheheheheh"

"I can help, but I can't get them to listen to me, I'm just a child so what would I know about anything?" Missy thought as she watched the conversation unfold, everypony was going to leave on separate missions, but she wanted to help too. "Guys?! Is there anything I can do to help?"

they headed out the  door and off to the highschool (there is only one block between us and the school...arrive or just chronicle our departure?)

I look over at missy and walk over slowly.

 

 

"You can help the others that are remaining here, i'm sure they can orginize everything here and get ready for the move. You can also help with finding the master light switch."

 

I point a hoof over at lance and sweets.

 

"They will ask you for help with somethings."

"Flame, stay here with the others, i do not want to loose anypony else today"

Broken walks up beside , "I am... uncomfortable... leaving @Arial Flame behind... I..."

 

Broken finds it hard to continue. He is not quite sure what he wants to verbalize. He knows if would be a bad idea to add more people to a scouting group but he can't shake the feeling that he wants Flame there. The thought of leaving him behind makes him anxious. A day previously, he would not have had a problem leaving him behind but now- now he finds the thought distasteful.

"I'm a unicorn, so I'm sure I can remember a basic light spell, if not then maybe there's a book store somewhere in this town." Missy trotted up to Broken and tapped his foreleg. "Don't worry Mr, he'll be fine staying here, I'll personally make sure he stays safe and out of trouble."

Broken looks at the warpony, "Take them both, perhaps? Flame at the very least can watch our and Missy's backs. I know he is able to kill. He has done so before. I trust him."

 

He fails to constrain his internal battle to leave Flame behind. He just needs the foal to be near him.

I run back over to Broken. "Heh... I poked you! Soooo... are we doing anything today? I'm bored!" I extend my wings and bend down looking like i'm about to blast off across the room. "I wanna move, you know? Just... go real fast! Being in this place is boring, I can't fly too good around in here because I crash into everything." I stand up straight again.

I sigh.

 

"Its fine, but flame. Stay near Broken. Missy, you can choosento stay here with lance and sweets, or come with us and scout."

 

I look at broken and flame, then at missy.

 

"Though as much as i dislike bringing fillies and colts, this is an exception, i'll remain grounded to help watch for walkers, but if we need a quick way out, i'll fly and look, otherwise i am grounded with you and flame, also missy if she too follows"

 

I think about how useful a unicorn would be on the scouting mission.

"I wouldn't advise going out of here Flame, especially so soon after being injured, you could do damage or open the wound again, and I'm not coming with you guys, I'm gonna go find me a light switch." Missy trotted off, but turned around. "Where am  I going exactly?"

(I'm thinking arrive, but I'm up for either... Honestly, I'm just glad that everything has calmed down again...)

Frozen looks around, hugging the rifle to herself for dear life. Her internal monologue goes a mile a minute, How can no one else see how dangerous Broken is? He is a monster, and to beat him I have to become one myself... As they pull away from the shop, unseen by anyone else, she lines up the rifle with Broken's head.

"We would be going to the police station, back to the house that my group was coming from"

 

I tell missy.

 

"Also i have no idea have where them switch is"

 

i look back to broken wondering about a few things. I then look at flame thinking about something like that too.

Broken nods at Missy and sighs, "I see. I am underestimating the extent of his injuries once again. I apologize."

 

Broken turns around to give Flame a goodbye nuzzle. He mururs low enough that only Arial Flame will hear, "We will be back as quickly as we can. I promise you, little Flame."

 

Broken straightens back up and faces , "Let us go then..."

 

He collects his bag.

I think about what Missy said. "Maybe shes right... I'd rather not have my leg open up and bleed everywhere again...I guess I should stay here for my own sake... I just wish I could do something." I hug Broken and walk away slowly in thought. "what if they need me?..." I whisper.

Missy lit up her horn, creating quite a considerable amount of light, as she walked through the sports store, she began to hear sounds, she went to investigate these sounds, she entered a very dark store, no light at all, she walked in, beginning to feel uneasy... suddenly, a walker jumped at Missy from the side, prompting her to scream, loudly as she moved out of it's way. She didn't currently have her baseball bat with her so she couldn't attack it, it jumped forward and grabbed her tail in it's mouth. "Help me!"

Broken spins around and sprints toward the scream before he even consciously registers turning. Everything falls away from his mind in an instant and the battle-calm overtakes everything. His wings spread out his back and the feather spread out in an instinctual display to make himself seem larger than he is. His warpony mask is firmly set in place and anything that resembles mercy is stripped away to be replaced by calculation.

 

He does not wait for the others; they will either follow or clean up whatever he leaves behind.

in her panic her light reveals the light switch on the wall

 

the zombie mindlessly munched on her tail, luckily for her she couldnt get infected by a tail bite, the zombie was fixated on the light from her horn, luckily it was the only one, some where there must of been an opening some where in the store they didnt know about

Missy squirms and tries to pull herself away from the zombie, but she's certainly not as strong as a fully grown pony, she keeps scrambling her sore hooves against the floor in an attempt to escape, but the zombie's grip on her tail is too strong. "Ahh! Help!"

[Arial Flame 28]

"Huh? That sounds like Missy... Missy!?" I fly over to where I hear the screams as fast as I can. "Oh my god! Missy!" I can't take the shot, its risky. I run over to Missy and punch the zombie in its forehead a couple of times before twisting its neck as hard as I can just barely killing it. "oh, god... are you okay Missy!?

I hop into action by leaping into the air and start gainning speed by flying towards the zombie my boot leading the way, aimming for the zombie. I contenuly speed up before making a hit on the zombie, and start trampling the heck out of it.

"I'm fine..." Missy said, still very panicked. She looked over to where she had seen the light switch, she got up, walked around the zombie and pressed it, waiting for what would happen when she did... her legs were feeling shaky, like she was either about to collapse or be sick.

Frozen continues to track Broken with her rifle's scope, using the sounds as much as what little she can see in the dark to line up her shot. As the lights flick on she gets a much closer bead. As she slowly depresses the trigger, she sways just enough to make the heavy rifle round skip just past his ear and nail the zombie between the eyes, "I... Can someone please stop the room?" She asks quietly

the zombie was on the ground twitching, trying to get up, but not really trying, it couldnt get up any way because  WarFluttershy was stomping it,  it made a noise as it was disoriented, it slowly moving its limbs around, the back of its head explodes as the rifle round hits it

 

the master switch was visible on the wall nearby
