I still have my 3 1980s originals ponies. I hope to collect more. lol Well, I notices on the Internet and Netflix of MLP: Friendship Is Magic and after awhile, I started to watch the show on Netflix - after season 1 on episode 6 and I've be came a fan. I'm in my late 30s and I hope I'm not the only one on here that is around my age area. I’m very shy as once you get to know me and I'll open up. BTW, I'm 42 and aside from a few joking comments from my buddies, age has never been an issue for me here. There's nothing like a quality cartoon which MLP:FiM most certainly is. And you get bonus points for being a Rainbow Dash fan. We have quite a few well-known folks who are middle-aged, so you'll fit in just fine.
