gaming Anypony into Total War or just any Armchair General games?

Ah, Total War. Creative Assembly. SEGA. 

 

I've always been a huge fan of this license, ever since I first got my hands on Medieval 2: Total War. So much detail, and so much stuff to do. I loved it from the start.

 

What about you? Ever played a Total War game? If you have, which one and which faction did you pick for your first playthrough? Mine was Medieval 2: Total War and Spain!

 

Or, you could just list any game that puts you in an Armchair General's position, fx Victoria II.
