BlinkZ 1,151 March 26, 2014 Share March 26, 2014 Well any fanfic is worth writing, it the motivation of a writer that is the true push, don't feel like you have to write if you dont want to. You write better when you enjoy writing a story , rather then having to. So truth is it really your call. Zubric(fimfiction)
SFyr 1,982 March 26, 2014 Share March 26, 2014 @@BlinkZ, beat me to it on some points, the other points, I agree fully. Anyways, often it matters more how the story is told, or how it's made interesting for the reader to fulfill their namesake through. An alien coming to Equestria, a townsmare talking with her friend over tea, or an epic science fiction spaceship battle... they can all be equally interesting or painful depending on how its told. Yes, action and suspense tend to be easier to make interesting, but interesting quirks and slants can be introduced to almost any situation. That's the beauty of writing. If you're interested in the topic, it may shine through, or not. Though, if you're not interested in your own story, it's more likely to come off poorly. That said, you may want to look into punctuation and breaking up your thoughts a little more cleanly. Grammar conventions help stories flow smoothly, and relatedly make them more enjoyable to read.
