Seth smiled at his friend as they walked back to the dam. 

 

"Well, if we can patch into the camera systems in the main control room, we can easily smoke them out." Seth said with a chipper tone in his voice. After all that's happened, things were turning out rather well for the two. Sure they had a hole in Volt's dam, but it wasn't the end of the world. A good week's work and they could have it patched.

 

As the sun set, he looked to the moon cresting over the landscape. While he was gazing upon Luna's masterpiece, his ear flicked at the sound of timberwolves howling in the distance. In return to the call, he raised his head and howled a response the the tree dwellers.

Volt put his hooves on his ears smiling as his friend howled

 

"you told me that you don't howl at the moon ahah!"

 

"anyway there are still some of those bastard in the dam, i don't think they are stupid enough to all togheter go down to hunt for us... so i still belive that they are still up.... they can't open the penstocks anymore for the opposite water pressure... but if they are so well equiped... i don't know what the hell they could try... and also, that is my bucking home! "

 

shouted Volt toward nopony

 

"meh.. a beautifull day and night wasted... when we are done Seth, i will show you how to go fishing down this shores... they are so filled with fish you can't even immagine! "

Seth gave a second to wait for a second call from the timberwolves, but gave up after a few seconds. 

 

"I don't howl to the moon. I do howl in the night though. Recently, I have been calling out to the timberwolves. I can hear one of their howls in a ten mile radius.

 

"As for the enemy in you home, I just hope we already took out their high command with the blast. If we did, they will argue and struggle with little discipline. The one question that still remains is who is attacking and why?"

 

He finished, looking to his friend. He pondered over a few immediate ideas, but nothing big came to the surface.

Volt locked toward the forest

 

"and.. i'd really like to know why.. wolves.. and the pegasi from the corporation.. it doesn't make any sense at all... you.. you growled something to them on our first envounter.. what did they said?"

Seth laughed a bit.

"It's basic wolven. The timberwolves have a slight dialect of their own, but it's just a few translations to make. I once had a lengthy conversation with a pack leader. He and I became good friends after a while."

 

Seth howled again towards the forest, but received nothing.

 

"Now there is just a stuck up twig who thinks fleshy wolves are not worth the air to talk to."

 

"As for the wolves, the one I was talking to mentioned they were the true wolves of the empire. Sadly, I might know them." Seth said with a sigh. "As a former diplomat, I had eyes in the Empire for knowing what's up. Well, after the alliance with the two nations, some wolves think that we are better off without you ponies. These groups are not terrorists usually, more radicalists that believe that we should be guided in a certain direction. However, some go too far. These must be where they stand. now why would they sabatoshe a dam of all things?

"interesting... and.. i don't have the slighest idea.. uh almost there, i can see the door.. what was am i saying? oh yes ... why should somepny sabotage an electric dam and flood this DOT of a village on a map? I don't have the slightest idea... but for sure if Celestia were to know it was wolves.... i bet we have to say 'bye bye' to peace beetween the two empires don't ya think so?  And for the pegasi of the corporation... i don't know why they are aiding the wolves... i didn't even know that the corporation still existed... here we are..."

 

Volt reached the door, trying to pull it, it noticed it was locked

 

"meh wait a sec"

 

he turned around bucking the door a couple of times

 

 

"DAMn it!.. Seth would you mind?"

Seth nodded with a slight smile. He slowly walked up to the door, placing a paw in the center. He then closed his eyes in consintration. The , with out warning, the wolf slashed at the hinges with his claws and then stabed where the lock es to be. Retracting his claws, he gave a hearty shivers forward on the obstruction. It fell with an impressive thud.

"Well, we have our door. I'll replace it when we are done here." He said, looking over his claws.

Volt sighed enetering in the shaft

 

"so what is the plan? find the leader, murder him, and convince everypony else to surrender? or find each and every single one of them?£

 

Volt asked setting his working suit and his bag, suddenly out of the dam he heard a thunder

 

"uh what? a storm? now? but the sky was clear some seconds ago!!!"

Seth looked around for any souse of the bolt of lightning.

 

"You don't think they got to your Tesla coils, do ya?" He asked, advancing into the dam. It was rather dark, most likely from a power loss from the dam attack. Thankfully, the dark didn't bather the wolf.

 

"Any particular way we should go?"

Volt looked at his friend with a concerned face

 

"don't even think about it... " Volt said "if the manage to overcharge them, they can create a storm strong enough to destroy Canterlot... let alone the dam! Last level, we must reach the last level  there! Buck! electricty is off again.. and i have no charge left! DAMN IT!"

 

Volt stared at the door for a second

 

"Seth will you mind to remove the bands on my wings? I have an idea"

"...sure...what do you have in mind?" Seth asked as he walked over to his friend. With his claws, he cut through the bands for his friend. Once cutting through the last one, Seth stepped back, letting his friend have some space.

 

"So you have tools that have the power to destroy cities with ease? How many permits did you have to get?"

Volt flapped his wings

 

"Cloudsdale need electricty to make storms, i provide them what they need, easy at it is... those stuff COULD but you need the right knowledge and the right conditions and being an electric pegasus... and i don't know many around.. actually the only i know is Dash and Skylar... but i higly doubt they would be able to use this power with the correct procedure.. but i must check... even if that... they could easily break a piece of the dam making them overcharge, and i must prevent that.. now"

 

Volt turned to the back of his friend, sleeping his hooves under his frontal legs

 

"i know you hate flying.. just close your eyes"

 

Volt said bolting toward the top of the dam without letting the wolf time to react

"Wha-" Seth started, before feeling his body being jerked upward towards the top of the dam. As they assented, Seth clung to Volt's hooves for dear life.

 

"Volt, when we get to the top, I am going to eat you alive for this!" He yelled. "I'm serious Volt, put me down!" he continued.

Volt shouted reaching the top, letting his friend, and rolling on his head to the ground, jumping then on his hooves

 

"Yo Buddy! fliyng is awesome! "

 

Volt said jumping around the venting wolf.. then he suddenly stop at the view of three pegasi and two wolves carying on their shoulder a big copper coil

 

"what on the name of Luna are you doing with that?!?"

 

The wolves looked at each other, smiling and dropping the coil to the ground

Seth held his footing to the ground as he turned to Volt. "Maybe to you, but you are used to it. I happen to have a fear of heights." He said before turning to wolves and pegisi. 

 

"Leave while you still have your life!" Seth demanded, his ears leaning forward in anger.

 

"Pathetic outcast. Already using the common tong of these sacks of meat." One of the wolves commented. This earned a glare from the tree ponies next to him.

 Volt took a look around for something heavy but he didn't found anything at the reach of his hooves

 

"well.. i recognize that... let's do this Cloudsdale Style!"

 

Volt shouted taking off and bolting beetween the two wolves to to 'meet' the pegasi, as soon as he took off, one of them escaped toward the other side of the dam at high speed"

 

"so.. any last word you little foals butchers? i have more than enough for you and all of your company!"

 

"look here! how proud of himself is the doctor! or better.. the betrayer! You were in the factory, you did way worse than what we workers do, and now you blame us? eh eh"

 

he turned to his collegue who added

 

"indeed... but we know you, the Corporation knows you... and knows who you REALLY are inside "

 

"esactely Jentzel Jag, but you know... we managed to realize what you weren't able to do to yourself.. there is a 'cure' for your problem haha! Neuron management or some stupid things like that.. mind contrl you know? And guess what! Guess what?!? We have found out how to remove the parassite in you! AHAHA!"

 

Volt bited his own lip getting angrier by the moment, he then raised his hoof hitting the laughting pony right in the face, then he took the other by the neck, pressing him on the protection rail of the top of the dam, water raging under him

 

"WHERE IS THIS ANTIDOTE?!? WHO HAS IT??"

 

the pegasus bursted into a long laught, upon them, clouds where almost as dark as night, rain fell down as long as lightings everywhere, Volt's eyes were bursting in hate

 

"WHO HAS IT?!? WHO HAS IT?!?!?"

 

he kept shouting as the laught of the pony started to fade away slowly, as long as his life.

 

Volt let his hooves from his neck, the body dropped down the dam and disappeared in the water falls

 

the blue pegasus turned around to see the other one cleaning the blood on his nose

 

"i am not done with you yet"

"You call me pathetic?" Seth yelled at the wolf. "You betray the empire that you are meant to honor!"

Seth advanced on the two, a deep growl building in his chest.

 

"Yet you are the one who is only half a wolf and half a weakling. The eye proves that." One spat. "You don't belong in this world. You are neither a wolf, nor pony. You are an experiment, an outcast, a failure. You shall die as such."

 

With that comment, Seth's anger peaked. He lunged at the left wolf, biting down on his neck with jaw. He tried to retaliate, but was too late. With a fierce pull of his teeth, Seth teared out the neck of the wolf. The now limp wolf's side kick jumped across the Tesla coil and pounced on Seth's exposed side. Sinking his claws into the still injured flesh, the wolf forced Seth to the ground. Blood was leaking from the wounds as the attacker attempted to bite at Seth's neck, but it was already too late. Seth pulled the knife out of the dead wolf's holster and jabbed it into the side of the wolf attacking him. The attacker barked out and stumbled off Seth.

 

The alpha wolf stood, slightly dazed by the attack, but shrugged it off. He charged at the stabbed wolf, slashing at the wolf's face and causing him to fall to the floor. With the wolf burring his bleeding face into his his paws, Seth took his shot and punctured the wolf's chest with his claws. Reaching inside, he felt the beating heart of the wolf and yanked it out. With the pulsating muscle stooping, the wolf became limp and died.

 

"Never. Call. Me. Weak."

The pony slowly walked backward, then he opened his wings to fly away, Volt especting this reaction, took off slightly before him, biting his left wing and making the worker lose his control, hitting the giant pegasus statue

 

"For the glory of the flock eh? hahah!!"

 

Volt laughted at the irony of the situation, noticing the last pony trying to mess with the control board of the remaining coils

 

"eh eh what are you doing little pegasus? to hard for you?"

 

Volt smirked evily, the other pony giving up jumped on the other side of the console

 

"you know Volt.. you said you want the antitode right? well i tell you two things... first... never stop your enemy when he is making a mistake.. second..... BEWARE OF WHAT YOU WISH!"

 

the caramel colored pony shouted bringing up a small crossbow tied to his hoof, he shooted a small red dart toward Volt, the small syringe hitted his neck

 

"EHEH! GOOD WORK DOCTOR VOLT! I'LL SEE YOU IN HELL!"

 

the pony shouted taking off and disappearing into the clouds

 

"you.. you... what... what.. is .. i.. i feel weird..."

 

Volt's heas started to spin around... the pony walking like he was drunk, then falling on the ground

Seth looked at the bloodbath he had created. Both bodies were bleeding out, but rather intact. He looked up to narrowly dodge a pegasi that was flying out of the dam. Turning to it's origin, Seth saw Volt lying on the ground with a bolt sticking out of his neck.

 

"Volt!" He yelled as he ran to his friends aid.

Pulling the tip out of his friend's neck, he bent down to check a pulse. It was there. Thinking with his heart, he lowered himself to the neck wound and tried to lap up whatever poison that was in the wound. Hopefully, it wasn't lethal.

"EH eh... yes... they were right... they had the cure wolf.. i am free... i am finally free"

 

raining falling harder on the two, on a small pool of water on the ground, there were a blue pegasus screaming silenty in agony

 

"you know... it feels so good.. being alone.. no stupid mare voice in my head begging to stop.."

 

Volt turned to Seth, his eyes sparking electricy; the pegasus got up, slowly walking toward the coils, a streamer hit his hoof

He turned around launching a steamer in the sky, soon, a cyclone was forming on the top of the dam

Seth was pushed off Volt as the blue pony launched the cyclone. 

 

"Volt, this isn't you!" Seth yells, knowing it is the insane mind of Volt. "What the hell are you planning to do? What have you done to the Volt I know?" He yelled at him, starting to advance on the crazed pony. As he did, a thought ran across his mind. If it came to it, who would he choose to save. Volt, or all of Ponyville?

The crazy stallion shouted lunching a lighting toward Seth, then he took off, standing on the three raging coils

 

"I AM TIRED OF BEING WEEK! I AM TIRED OF BEING THE FAILURE I WAS! I AM NOW FREE! MY POWER KNOW NO BOUNDARIES NOW! I HABE THE POWER OF THE THUNDER AND THE SCIENCE WITH ME! PONYVILLE WILL FALL, AND THEN I WILL TAKE BACK CLOUDSDALE! FOR THE GLORY OF THE CWC! YOU WILL BE THE WITNESS THIS DAY! THE DAY WHERE VOLT DIED LETTING ME RULE!"

 

the blue pegasus called more power from the coils, as the storm was getting bigger, cracks forming on the sides of the dam and under his hooves

The lightning struck Seth's chest, sending him across the floor. All he saw was the flash. He slowly tried to stand, but noticed he wasn't at the dam. He was in a laboratory.

Around him were interments of the most gruesome nature. Blood was splattered across the walls. Feathers littered the floor. He even swear he saw a bone or two. As he tried to get up, he noticed he was no longer a wolf, but a grey pony. A young pegasus colt. His wings were tattered and blood. There was a list of information tattooed on to his chest. From the looks of it, he was Sun Binder. 

 

A sudden creak cough his attention as he looked to the door. Standing there, was a blue, lab-coated pegasus. Volt. As he advanced, Volt's hoves started to charge with energy. Then, he fired.

Seth found himself right where he had been hit. Slowly getting up, he looked over to the pony feeding off the coils.

 

 

"I know who you are. You have plagued volt for too long. I promised him one thing about you. And if it's true that you killed him, then I shall tell you what I promised him. I promised him you were never to return like this. The one thing he didn't know was that I swear my life on it. You will die!" He yelled.

Volt was caring a big strange looking spinning weapon

 

"come on do it! it is either her or you!"

 

a big caliber handgun was pointed at the head of the scared blue pegasus, in front of him, a white mare with red eyes and red mane was strapped to a wall with chains... she was crying as her body wer filled  with scars and blood marks

 

"i shall count to three! pull that bucking trigger!"

 

"i..i can't do it..."

 

Volt heard the sound of the hammr of the gun going into the fire position

 

"one"

 

"i CAN'T DO IT!"

 

"two"

 

"NO GOD PLEASE NO! LUNA HELP ME!"

 

"three!"

 

Volt closed his eyes as the time around him stopped

 

"pull that trigger now... you can't do anything else"

 

the pegasus pulled the trigger as tears were flowing down his face, a yelllow ray was shooted from the strange gun... a loong scream of agony... then nothing was remaining but blood, blood on all walls, blood on the ceiling, blood on the chains and on Volt

 

"good job! This weapon truly is interesting! Welcome to the Cloudsdale Weather Corporation Resarch Facility ahaha!"

 

The pony said holstering the gun and walking away

 

Volt dropped on the floor

 

"wha...what have i done?"

"what was right to save your life you stupid!"

 

the engineer turned around

 

"who are you?"

"I'm your dream, make you real, I'm your eyes when you must kill, I'm your pain when you can't feel, I'm your dream, mind astray, I'm your eyes while you're away, I'm you"

Volt shocked his head

 

"why the hell have i this memories?" He asked to himslef

 

"nevermind... what are you going to do wolf? Jump on me? bite my arthery and tear my flesh away? Volt is dead i told you, this pathetic body of flesh and bones is mine now, but not for long, you will see... my flesh is an insult to the perfection of the digital, but you... you are no longer welcome here, nuisance. Why do you stay, when you sense my displeasure? I have suffered your company long enough; it is time for our dance to end."

 

from the sky lighting started to hit the top of the dam, a struck destroied a pegasus statue's head

 

"Almost ready to end the pathetic existence of this concrete prison he called home!"

Seth slowly advanced on Volt. He compensated for the shaking of the dam, hoping it would hold long enough for him to do what must be done.

 

"Volt. I know you are in there. I just want to say that what I'm about to do it only to fulfill what I promised you. I beg that you will forgive me." He called out before Taking a running leap at the electric pony.
