Seth looked to the ground, sighed heavenly. He hated Volt for talking about his past. It only reminded him how close they were. "Volt... you call me a perfect being... You couldn't be more wrong. What I've done in my life time might nearly have caused the eradication of both our races. The war, Volt. I... I killed thousands of ponies for a pointless war. Bringing peace to my country was the only thing that I thought would redeem myself. Sadly, I got my brother killed for doing that." He then walked in to the transformer building to begin the work of restoring power.

"The war was meaningless... it was cruel... but a part of me enjoyed it." He said, looking to the main electrical panels. It seemed a shock from the plant tripped the circuit breakers. "We will need to check the breakers." he called out. Looking around, he tried to find where they were.

Seth smiles at the Volt's work. It was rather impressive for on the spot needs. Hell, it was impressive, period. "Volt, I can not underestimate you when it comes to electronics." He said, patting him on the shoulder. "As for my nose, there are a few drawbacks. You can't avoid the smell of a flatulent pony. Although, I can smell anything a mile away." He said. "Speaking of smells and wolves... when this is done and I'm going for the poison joke... I'm catching you your first piece of meat. I'll even cook it for you. Think it as a little gift exchange for turning me into a mare."

"they are called thermic relays, they are very simple and clever, when there is a problem, current tend to flow faster, more current means more heat, so what they did? they wrapped a portion of wired around a copper thin metal bar, if there is a surge, the wire will heat, that will heat the bar too, and heating it will increas it's lenght, reached a certain point, it will touch a circuit breaker, simple yet effective!"

 

Volt said showing a small plastic box with a button on it

 

"you just need to press the button to reinstall the metal bar, and tak! you got your circuit back to work! come on, the honor to power  up the section is your Seth!"

 

He said stepping to a side

"Thank you for the honor." He said, approaching the button. Lifting his paw, he pressed it against the plastic switch. With a hum of energy, he could hear the power coursing though the transformers. He turned to volt, giving him a pat on the shoulder. "Wow, even with this place being the battleground between the two most powerful races ever to walk this planet, this place is still online. Amazing!"

Seth smiled as they walked out of the dam. The two walked for a while until Seth stopped them at the edge of the forest. "Ok, so he first rule of huntig: know what's around you." He said, looking into the forest. "So, what do you want for dinner? Dear? Rabbit?" He subjected, sniffing the air for his prey.

Seth thought for a moment, trying to think what would be best for a pony. If he would have luck in hunting, he could catch a rabbit for Volts first meal. "Ok, how about rabbit? It's a rather loose meat if prepared well. I can catch one for you. The little beasts are fast as hell, but not if they don't see you." He said, givving a stronger sniff to the air. He could smell some animals close by, but wasn't sure if one was a rabbit. Looking deep into the forest. He looked for any movement. "Now when I tell you to run... You-" he began, until bolting off into the forest. The hunt was afoot. With a smirk, he chase the hair through the tree line, gaining ground on his prey.

Volt said seeing his friend bolting away, he immediately started to run after him

he tohught realizing he was a pegasus, opening his wings, Volt took off and started to fly trough the tress dodging each of them, even the slowest flying pegasus is faster in the air than the fastest earth pony running.

 

Volt wasn't seeking for the pray, one of his eyes was fixed on the grey fur of Seth, trying to keep up with him, the other was on the patch ahed and the trees, difficult obstacle to avoid, after a while he was almost over Seth, keeping focused on each of his movements

After a minute of running, Seth was nearly on top of the rabbit. His instincts were worrying about the turrane, while he readied for the final lunge. With a running jump, he landed atop the furry creature and quickly snapped its little neck. Tumbling a bit from the run, Seth looked to his meal to see he dead. "Well volt, got your meat!"

He exclaimed, feeling the after effects of adrenalin keeping him energized and in the zone. "Be it dear or rabbit, it's the sport Volt. The energy of hunting is something that one must feel within himself. It is a passion!" Seeing his friend was not going to buy in to his little speech, he thought. "That, and I can make one of the best meals you will ever have."

 

Picking the rabbit up by the neck, he began to walk towards the opening to the forest. "Oh, if you see any poison joke, tell me."
