Seth eyes shot open at Volt's action. With her mind at a blank on how to respond, she just stared at the pegasus, jaw dropped slightly. "V...V-volt?" He said, still rather lost on how to respond. Slowly, he leaned over, and returned the kiss, hugging his friend warmly.

"the moon is riding high, and her light is almost  matching the one of the sun, should we let the forest sleep, or should we wake them up with an howl Sethy?"

 

he said getting up and sitting near the edge of the dam, touching the waterline with his hind legs, without letting his eyes from his lovely wolf

She walked up to Volt, looking over the dam's water. "Well, let's see... where to begin about howling..." Seth said, thinking. "Well... the technical name is wolven. Ponies might not consider howling anything other than some noise. But to us, it is a whole other language. It is one of aged tradition and honor. I can teach you some basics, but it takes wolf lungs to perfect the language." she said. Placing a paw under Volt's chest, I straiten your lungs.

 

"Ok... just relax and breath. Then, howl." She instructed. Taking a breath, I below out a howl.

Volt said calmy, leaning next to the wolf and placing his head on her chest, right before she howled

 

feeling the air moving in her lungs, the vibration trough her chest to Volt'ear, and then the cacophonic melody aimed at the whole forest, the pegasus closed his eyes, sighing happily

It was a beautiful feminine tone, lasting ten seconds. As the pitch died off, more howls came back in return to the first. They sounded more firm. With a smile, she perked her ears to listen.

 

"Well... I mentioned how a hole means something, right?" Well I just said "I am in love with a hansom honorable stallion. They are now replying with congratulations." She said.

"so... now some wolves know you.. you are with a stallion? and noone said something against it? w.woah.. that's nice.. but not as nice as your howl and voice Sethy.. maw.."

Volt said hugging tightlier the wolf and rubbing his face against her fur

 

"so... shall we go to sleep? tomorow is the day of the construction of the device.. and maybe we can give a call to Cloudsdale for those inspectors... ah Sethy.. i would love to show you that city.. it is something extraordinary, even if you were born there.. you cannot be breathless when you see it... ah i wish to show you many things.. but probably i am not the right pony for that.. shall we take the elevator?"

"You dirty minded stallion" Seth said, smirking at her friend and lover. "You think more with your body than you do with your head." She walked over to the elevator and hit the call button. As it rose, Seth's mind floated over some thoughts regarding what Volt had meant. He was always joking, but... His thoughts were interrupted as the elevator arrived. Climbing in, they descended down to the depths of the damn where their quarters were. When the elevator stopped, Seth got out and walked to his room without another word, still thinking over everything that happened today. Walking to his door, he looked back to Volt with an expression of mixed want and questioning.

he continued smiling a bit, the pegasus simply trotted trough the corridor, jumping above some of the metal pipes still laying around in a senseless chaos, he slowly walked toward his room, placing an hoof on it, then he turned, looking at the wolf

Seth noticed her mood and quickly shrugged it off for his friend. "N-nothing. Just a bit tired." She said, looking away from Volt. It wasn't truly just tiredness, but she wasn't willing to say that. Giving the pegasus a warm smile for the night, she entered her room and found her bed. The flag above her bed had been slightly ripped, but it still hung. Climbing into the warmness, Seth began to try to fall asleep. However, her mind kept drifting to other thoughts, preventing such success.
