"Well, in my position, it would be good to trample in the joke." She said. They began walking out of the forest when Seth spotted  a small patch of the stuff. With a reluctant smile, he slowly trotted up to the patch, then took a few steps in it. "Well, by tomorrow, I'll be a she-wolf." He said. "Now lets get back to the dam. As for hunting, I am not forcing you to hunt if you want to take the sport up, I would gladly train you. However, if you don't like meat, then what's the point?"

"mew.. you crazy wolf..... and welp... i never tasted meat so i can't tell Seth... maybe i will like it who knows? and for the hunt.. it seems like a funny activity, plus a good exercize.. i am sure than there is somepony or some ceature who will gladly accpet some fresh meat.. i just need to find hi, right?"

"Your looking at him." Seth said, nudging his friend. "I have to import my meat when I can't hunt. I will pay you for your capturing if you don't want them. But first, I need to cook." He said, walking into the dam. The two made their way into the kitchen where Seth placed down the dead hair. "How would you like your rabbit? Soup, fried, grilled, sauteed? Name it."

"d'awww stop asking this questions! i don't know how it tastes Seth.. i am not a fan of soup... uhm... i think that grilled will keep the original flavour right?... i think you can go with it.."

 

Volt said sitting near Seth and looking at him and the pray curiosly

"Ok, one grilled rabbit." He said with a smile. Grabbing a knife out from the knife holder, he sliced at the neck, letting the blood drain out. On his walk up to the bad, he had released most of the blood, but there was still some. He then grabbed a second knife and began to skin the rabbit. Without losing any meat, he plopped down the hairless rabbit on a cutting board. As if it was his second calling, he began to slice off the legs and arms of the animal, exactly at the joints. He then placed the rest of the body in a freezer bag and placed it for later in the freezer. He then placed the arms and legs on a oven rack, and placed that on a pan. "This is how you grill inside." He said, with a hint of pride. Getting some fat from the rabbits body he had chopped off earlier, he placed it in the pan along with some oil. As the pan heated up, the oil/ fat ignited, beginning to grill the rabbit appendages. After some flipping and arranging, Seth removed the legs from the makeshift grill and on to two plates. He then placed one on either side of a table and sat down. "Ready Volt? Just pick it up and take a bite."

Volt looked curiosly at all the preparation and the procedure Seth applied

 

"wow.. you are like a Màitrè of the meat Seth... you should go back and reopen your bar! "

 

Volt sai giggling and taking a piece of meat

 

"all right let's try this.."

he said giving a bite to it

 

"uhm... very.. soft... and tastes... nice... i mean... it has a nice flavour.. it feels like it is melting inside my mouth.. i don't even have to bite it much... uhm.. i never thought i would have said that.. but this tastes very good!"

 

He said taking another bite

Taking a bite out of his own, he smiled at his friend. "You find interesting ways to cook meat when it's the only food you can eat." He said with a laugh. "Also, do ponies have the Nobel prize awards here? I might have won something for turning a pony into a carnivore. Just don't go thinking that all meat it edible. You ponies don't have the immune system to take on raw flesh. Trust me."

"meh don't brag.. you didn't turn me into a carnivor... you just made a pony accept something more that his usual diet of tasteless grass and harmfull treats and candies eh eh.. and don't worry.. i am not even thinking about eating that stuff raw and crude.. i am not Polaris or some other tribal pony! And about my immune system.. it sucks belive me... sigh... i should get out more and rule the sky once again... mehhh stupid damn lazy pegasus i am"

Seth smiled. "Once I'm on the shifts for this place, you can take some time out of the dam and relax. Rule the skies." He said. Finishing his plate, he took Volts and his back to the kitchen and put them in the sink. After doing so, he was about to join volt again... when he felt a light off feeling in him. At first he just assumed it was bad rabbit. After a bit of it growing, he decided to look in the mirror. "I'll be back in a sec Volt." He called, walking in to the men's room. He splashed some cold water on his fur and looked to the mirror. When he did, he froze. "Shit..."

Volt said cleaning his theeth using his hoof like a thoothpick

 

"uhm maybe i can get myself sometime to visit Cloudsdale again... i somehow miss that floating city.. i love its architettonic style... uhm hey Seth! anything wrong there?"

Seth began to panic slightly. He hadn't expected for the change to be so sudden. He cleared his throat, trying to see what he would sound like. "I'm-" he began, realizing he sounded like a female. Clearing his throat again, he tried to speak more manly. "I'm fine. Just give me a sec."

Volt said washing the dishes and putting them away

As he spoke, Volt started to walk toward the bathroom

Seth banged his fists on the counter of the men's room. "Um... remember the plan for me to look like a mare...Well I'm half way there... Let's just say that poison joke has a more potent effect on wolves..." He said with slight defeat in his voice. "If you want to know, come in.

"let's just hope that your new look doesn't make me want to switch to wolves BWHAHAHAHA!!"

Seth shrunk out of sight of his friend. The wolf couldn't think of anything more humiliation in his life that what was going on now. "Volt... I ask you to remember that  I'm still the killer wolf you know..." He said, his voice definitely feminine. He slowly stepped out of his hiding spot, revealing himself to volt. Now it could be considered 'herself'.

Volt covered his mouth with his hooves to not laught, he then took a long breath... then he turned from a side holding his mouth again, with tears on his eyes he tried to speak in a serious way

Seth glared at her friend. "And to think that I was worried that I was going to be drawn to you..." She said, slightly ticked by the question, as well as glad he was taking it so well. "Fine, I don't mind..." The she-wolf said, walking over to Volt. She didn't offer the hug, but she wasn't guarding against one.

Volts said rubbing his nose on Seth's neck

 

"uhm so... can a pony be in relationship with a she wolf? "

 

Volt said in a serious tone, then he turned and slowly punched Seth on her shoulder

 

"pffft kidding you are still ... *depper voice* an assasin wolf! grrr! ih ih ok ok ok sorry, i let myself go, NOW! let's try something with the hologram projector shall we?"

Seth rolled her eyes at her friend. Walking out of the men's room, she looked to the doors that lead to the lab and the dorms. When volt joined her, she said, "oddly enough... I would be the one to know. When I was working as a diplomat, I had to sit through peace talks and basically sign in laws about what wolf/pony interaction. By law... Technically there is no reason for there not to be a relationship." She said with a sigh.

Seth shook her head in amusement. "From the way you are talking, it sounds like you want a wolf as your girlfriend. Let's get that holo-pony thin online. After that, if you can bring yourself up to it, you can ask me out." She said with a laugh. Even though she was kidding, Seth gave the thought of the two of them together.

Seth shook her head as she fallowed Volt as the two made their way out of the kitchen deeper into the dam. The wolf could observe cracks in the structure that he had not been there on the tour, but it didn't seem that critical. "So tell me, when you were signing me into the company as a pony, why did you list me as a mare?"

Seth was about to protest to Volt's comment, but felt her argument was only going to be useless. She walked down the newly opened corridor, looking for the lab they needed to find. After a few minutes of walking, she pushed open a door to reveal a lab. Not a blood-stained on from earlier, but more of a tecno-lab. "Wow, nice place you got here." She said, impressed. "Also, I am not going to get used to this voice thing..."
