Charcoal looked at the paper in utter confusion. "W-What... what is this?" Charcoal read the paper over and over again, not believing what she was seeing. Who was this stallion and the filly... what happened to her? There were so many questions... she had no idea what to think...

There was a huge blast of noise. then it silenced in the hallway. A dark sphere appeared before Charcoal, and when the sphere disappeared. There were three ponies in front of her. but it was so bright she couldn't tell who they were.

 

"It's okay that you can't remember." One of the ponies said as it came into view.

"No one was blaming that you and all the others got involved Charcoal." Pheonix said.

Charcoal jumped at the noise from the hallway. She hadn't expected to hear something so loud in a hospital. But that was the least of her worries when the dark orb appeared beside her. She backed up a bit and when the light began shining she covered her face with a hoof. "W-What...?" Then she heard a voice. It did sound like somepony she knew. and when she heard her name spoken. "W-Who... What...?"

Pheonix went towards Charcoal to lower her hoof, then she could see Luna, and Sweetie Belle as well.

"You're having problems with answering questions recently.." Pheonix said.

"sadly you won't remember most things from the past, you were hit in the head pretty hard from the explosion." Pheonix said continuing.

"When the explosion happened it did in-fact kill me and a lot others, including Luna. We're just happy you only got injured from it." Pheonix finished.

B-But... what does he mean...? Charcoal thought for a minute before looking back at Phoenix. "B-But... I-I don't remember any of this... and... you said you died... so... how do you expect me to believe that you are telling the truth about what you are telling me?" Charcoal asked.

"Well, I don't" Pheonix said, as he looked at the other two ponies.

"I can only suggest that you want to know anything about what happened all those months ago, you'd want to ask Zachary. Or Ghandza the great wizzard of the land." Pheonix said.

 

Pheonix took a step back and sweetie Belle and Luna vanished.

 

"Completely up to you." Pheonix ended as he vanished.

Charcoal looked at where Phoenix was with a face of complete and utter confusion. What did he mean? "Damit... why does everything have to confuse me...?" Charcoal asked herself as she got up and looked around, hoping there was somepony that could answer her questions.

Zachary opened up the door to city hall, as he walked out there wasn't a crowed of ponies anymore, the guards were waiting to take him back to Zexis. "M' Lord, we're ready when you're." Said Lucus. Zachary smiled at them and started to trot down the stairs to the cart.

She was walking down the hall towards the Infirmary when she saw a pony at the end of the hallway.

"Hello!" she said with a smile.

Charcoal looked down the hall at the pony who had called her. "Oh... hey there..." Charcoal said as she began walking down to the pony. Maybe she could help me find my way and help me find the ponies that that stallion said that I should find. Charcoal thought to herself.

"Is there something I can help you with miss..?" Miss Hinrich started to say but stopped herself.

"Look, at me an old pony not even asking for a name before I start asking questions." She paused for a moment then continued. "I'm Mrs. Hinrich, I'm the main owner of this City Hall building, and most of Kingshield. who are you?" she said politely.

"Ohh... well... I am Charcoal Embers. I own a blacksmith shop that should be somewhere. I don't really know if it is here or in a different town, but that's besides the point. I need to ask you, do you know a pony by the name of Zachary or Ghandza. I was told that I need to find one of them."

Miss Hinrich listened quietly.

 

Miss Hinrich had a faint smile on her face. "Ah yes, I know those two ponies, Ghandza lives in his tower that's west of Zexis Del Tor', and Zachary... Do you mean, Zachary Del Tor'? He just left, he lives in the castle with the other Senators in Zexis Del Tor'."

 

"Is there anything else I can help you with sweetie?" Miss Hinrich said with a smile.

Miss Hinrich listened quietly.

 

Miss Hinrich had a faint smile on her face. "Ah yes, I know those two ponies, Ghandza lives in his tower that's west of Zexis Del Tor', and Zachary... Do you mean, Zachary Del Tor'? He just left, he lives in the castle with the other Senators in Zexis Del Tor'."

"Um... no, no... I'm good thanks. But, would you terribly mind showing me how to get there please? I don't really know my way around here..." Charcoal asked as politely as she could. What is up with everything going back to the forbidden land? Charcoal thought to herself

Charcoal had an uneasy feeling about Miss Hintich. There was something about her that just gave Charcoal goosebumps. Maybe it was the way she spoke, or maybe even that smile of hers. But she pushed those feelings to the back of her mind and smiled back at Miss Hinrich. "Thank you... but... how to I get to the entrance?"

Miss Hinrich pointed at a door to the south of where they were standing. "Right out there, and you'll be on your way!" She replied.

Charcoal nodded. She still wasn't sure about this mare, but she walked to the door anyway. While she was walking she began to think. Wow... so much is going on. Why would any of this happen to me? Before Charcoal could think any further she reached the front door. She pushed her way out and walked outside.

As soon as Charcoal Embers walked outside two ponies noticed her. They ran up to her.

"My names Michelle!" One of the ponies said as she bowed.

"My name is Lily." The other pony said as she bowed.

Both pony's lifted their heads and looked at Charcoal Embers.

 

Michelle and Lily had Dark black armor on with a silver trim, and a cape with a dark purple color with a crimson trim, they both had a big "K" crest on their chestplates.

Charcoal took a step back at there forward approach. She wasn't used to ponies being this friendly. "Oh... um... hello... my name is Charcoal... Charcoal Embers..." Charcoal said. "So I was told that you two could lead me to where I need to go, is that correct?" Charcoal asked.

Michelle looked at Charcoal for a second, then looked at Lily. After a few seconds she looked back at Charcoal. "That all depends on where you're trying to go."

 

Did anyone tell this pony about the peace? Lily thought. but never the less they were instructed to do anything that they're commanded to do by Miss Hinrich.

Charcoal nodded. "Yeah, I was wondering about if you could bring me to either Zachary or Ghandza. I don't know if you know them, but I was told to find and talk to one of them if I had any questions." Charcoal said, hoping she didn't sound desperate or anything. "So... can you do it for me?"

Lily looked at Michelle, then at Charcoal. "But..." She started to say but didn't finish.

 

"Ghandza, has been dead for 2 months now." Michelle said in response. "So we'll take you to the castle of Zexis. But do you want to go there by cart or walking." Michelle finished.

 

Lily backed up putting her hoof on the cart to show which one they were talking about.

"Wait... dead? But I was told that I should go find him or her if I wanted to find some answers." Charcoal said. I know I heard them right. Was he just confused as to what had happened? Or did he know that he was dead and just didn't tell me? Charcoal thought to herself. Then she remembered that there are other ponies there and looked at them. "What... oh, um... either is fine."
