It was 7:25 in the morning and Shadow sat at a table inside Sugarcube corner. She had a cup of tea in front of her and she was reading a news paper. All the other tables were filled. "I wonder why this place is so busy today?" She said to herself as she looked at the paper. She could hear the speaking of the ponies around her. Funny thing was about today was that she wasn't even reading. She was just staring at the paper pretending to read. Mostly because she couldn't read being blind and all but also because she didn't really care what was going on in the news. She folded up the news paper and took a sip of her tea.

Draco was singing a merry little tune as he walked into the Sugarcube corner. Draco had a little dance in his steps as he walked in. He smiled to the cakes. "I'll have a coffee. I have a good feeling about today," Draco said as he hummed his little song. Well one of his songs in his repertoire that wasn't Swing.

Sapphire heard the stallion come in humming a tune. She looked in the direction of the messenger. The seat on the other side of the table she sat at was empty. Shadow set the news paper on the table and took another sip of her tea. Her mane somewhat covered her solid white eyes.

Draco noticed a coal black mare across from him. "Morning miss," Draco said with a smile on his muzzle. "Days like this are rare for me so yeah. You look alittle down and out what's the matter with you?" Draco asked with an irish accent to his voice. Yep he's an Irish pony alright.

Sapphire looked up at the red pegasus in front of her. "Oh hello, and nothing is wrong.. its just been a slow day for me that is all..." She said as she took another sip of her tea. "I'm Shadow by the way" She said putting out her hoof to shake the courier's hoof. She had a big smile on her face.

Draco shook her hoof gently then kissed it. "Draco O'Malley of O'Malley's Exotic Import and Export," Draco said as he smiled at her. "So what can I get you Miss Shadow. Usually somepony asks me to get them something for somepony. I am just saying it so comes with a prince,"

"Why would I need anything... and did you just say it comes with a prince?" She said giggling. She took another sip of her tea and pushed here mane out of her eyes. "well its still nice to meet you..." She looked down at her tea and smiled. She took another sip before looking back up.

"I meant price," Draco said jokingly as he looked into her white eyes. "Hmm are you perhaps blind?" Draco asked as he looked at her no pity at all. "I can also see your a unicorn so you must have a way to see without your sight correct?" Draco asked as he looked at her. "Magical sonar maybe?"

"Yes I am blind, and you could say that. I use my magic to give a basic look of the area around me. I can't see in detail or color but I can see the outline." She said with a smile. Her horn began to glow and she saw an outline of Draco. She smiled as she took another sip of her tea.

"Curious and intriguing you know," Draco said as he smiled at the mare. "You are quite the interesting mare my dear," Draco said as he chuckled slightly. He smiled as h took a sip of his coffee or rather it was a white chocolate latte. He shrugged his shoulders.

"Thank you..." Shadow said looking at him. She smiled and said "So you are courier, I presume. since you said that you worked at O'Malley's Exotic Import and Exports." She took another sip of her tea and looked to her tea which was already half empty. Her horn stopped glowing.

"Thank you..." Shadow said looking at him. She smiled and said "So you are courier, I presume. since you said that you worked at O'Malley's Exotic Import and Exports." She took another sip of her tea and looked to her tea which was already have empty. Her horn stopped glowing.

"Yes. I handle more dangerous deliveries," Draco said as he looked at the mare. "A courier's job comes from the amount of contracts he has," Draco said as he looked at the mare. He chuckled slightly. "A courier's life is pleasing if you survive to old age," he said.

"Hmm ever heard of the Onyx stone? It's said to glow in the moonlight. Well that stone is extremely rare but I found it," Draco said. "I get the more dangerous jobs. And the couriers from the courier's guild get the more safer contracts Lucky buckers," Draco muttered the last part. "Anyhow I deliver rare and exotic items,"

Hurts a whole lot worse than being burned. But then again so does getting clawed at and getting manticore poison coursing through your veins,"

Draco chuckled abit "Aye it did didn't it," Draco said as he looked embarrassed. "We O'Malleys have a perchance to going into poetry when we can't find the right words for something," Draco said as he looked at the mare with a grin on his face. He chuckled slightly to himself.

Her horns stopped glowing and she looked around. She would have to be leaving soon if she was going to get home in time.

Draco smiled as he said "Anyhow maybe some time we can get another cup of coffee maybe I can show you a good night on the town?" Draco asked as he looked at the mare with a grin on his muzzle. He would plan ahead if she accepted his offer if not well maybe next time.

"That would be nice" Shadow smiled at the stallion and left sugarcube corner.Her horn began to glow and she got a faint view of the area around her. She began to walk down the street to her home and took in a break of fresh air. Shadow made it to her home and unlocked the door.
