Favourite two-parter or season finale?

End of season 3/season 4 beginning. I liked the musical number twilight did about the day being fine. Much catchy.

My favourite Season Premiere is The Return of Harmony. Before his reformation, I found Discord to be an interesting villain. To me, he knows that without the Elements of Harmony, he knows that he’s unstoppable. I also like how everypony gets a role and the background music.

 

My favourite Season finale is The Best Night Ever. It’s such a light-hearted episode that I don’t get tired of. I really want to see more episodes like The Best Night Ever. C:

"The Crystal Empire." Maybe it's because I'm biased towards Hero Spike, but I quite enjoy it. It's the tightest production out of all them and I actually kind of like Sombra. Sure, the story tries way too hard to make him villainous, but aside from all that goofery, he's a very effective bad guy.

 

Close second is "Return of Harmony", but only if I watch it as the direct finale to Season 1. Oddly enough, if I view it as the beginning of Season 2, it doesn't hold up that well.

 

"A Canterlot Wedding" is too deeply flawed for me to consider it a favorite, despite containing my favorite villain in the show.

The Return of Harmony has always been my favorite two-parter. I think Discord played the perfect villain for the main six. Another reason this is my favorite is because Discord was actually there during both the episodes and did not show up right at the end of the first parter like almost every other villain.
