Whirlwind, a Pegasus pony from Cloudsdale woke up and flew outside. He made his way down to Ponyville. "Wow what a wonderful day!" He said as he walked downtown. He walks into the same coffee shop he does most days and orders a coffee.

Sapphire was walking down the street, checking her list of food she needed to buy. She had very few, as she had lost her job a few days ago, so she could not pay for much anymore. She looked around, it was a nice sunny day, and her face had a huge grin as she walked into a shop

Whirl sips his coffee while he reads the morning news. "Hmmm.. wow, Canterlot troubles..." He says to himself while sipping coffee. He sits back in his chair and looks out the window watching the Ponies go by. He notices Sapphire and raises an eyebrow. He gets up and walks to the door

Sapphire looked over and smiled at the sun as she walked into the room, she looked up at the sky one last time before stepping inside, not seeing the pony right infront of her. She slamed into him and fell over, on her back, spilling papers everywere. She jumped up and stared at him "Sorry! Are you OK?"

Whirl blushes and smiles. "It's fine" He gets up and picks up his suitcase. "So...I'm sorry" Whirl blushes and smiles "I realize I didnt properly introduce myself. I'm Whirlwind" He helps Sapphire up to her hooves. "You?" He smiles raising an eyebrow.

 

 

In Canterlot, Ponies were enlisting in becoming Royal Guards. Radon a younger colt was trying out to become a Royal Guard.

 

Shining Armor, the head Commander walked up and down the ranks looking at everypony.

Embers nodded her head quickly "Sorry, my name is sapphire, im really sorry for bumping into you" She said as she looked down at the ground, she droped to her knees and started grabbing papers and shoving them back under her arm, she glanced up an noted how cute he was

Whirl smiles and gets down to his knees to help Sapphire with her papers. "Mind if I help you? " He helps pick up the papers that she had dropped. He thinks : wow, she is so hot and cute. Aww forget it man! She's way too good for you! He helps Sapphire up and blushes a lot while trying not to trip over his own hooves.

Sapphire smiled and bowed her head "Thank you sir, I hope to meet you another time soon" She said as she walked over to the table that she sat at, looking down at her paper with a smile on. She glanced over at the rest of the ponys and got a small drink before looking back

Whirl blushes and smiles quickly a silly smile "You too" He walks back over to his table across the cafe and glaces back over at the beautiful mare. He mumbles to himself and keeps reading the newspaper while eating a donut.

 

Inside Whirl's mind he was thinking two things. First about the next Wonderbolts Training meeting. And second about the hot mare he had just run into

Sapphire sat down at the table. She opend up a few of her books, and started doing her taxes. She looked over at the news paper and shook her head, something about some weird pony exploding stuff with another pony. She laughed as took a sip of her hot coco as she did

Whirl got up and walked over to the counter to pay. As he did, he got up and accidentally tripped over and spilled his coffee all over himself. He got up blushing as his fur was covered in brown coffee. Blushing he tried to make his way to the bathroom but bumped into the mare again..."oops I'm so sorry"

Sapphire just stared at him, she had to tear her eyes away though, it seemed as if they were both being very clumsy "Its...its OK" She said with a shake of her head as she made her way to the desk to pay. She payed and then walked outside, opening up a book because she had nothing better to do

Whirl blushes and gets up quickly to pay and head outside. He flew back up to cloudsdale where he made it just in time for the Wonderbolts training meeting.

 

Spitfire and Fleetfoot walked around talking to each other as they examined everypony.

 

Whirl began to feel nervous.

Sapphire shook hear head and payed, then walked over to her small house and sat down with a book open. She read for awhile, but then got bored and turned on the TV, fliping through the different channels "My little human...No....Friendship is witchcraft...No...." She found one and got settled in

Whirl stands up tall and tries to act tough.

 

Spitfire shouts "Ok all! Give me 200 laps now!"

 

Whirl gives a tough determined look and races off along with the other Pegasi

Meanwhile in Canterlot, Celestia reads through her mail that Derpy and Spike had sent

Sapphire got bored and flipped to the next show. She didn't check what it was, just got up and walked over, making some popcorn and getting some water then walking back to sit down. She looked up at the screen and smiled, it was the wonderbolts try outs, and she could see the pony she had bumped into earlyer

Whirl was flying fast as he could as he round the corner and over and under the clouds. If i can make the Wonderbolts Camp! I'll have a chance at that hot Mare! He thought as he narrowed his eyes and keeps flying faster. 

 

Spitfire watched the lap counter "55 more! 54! 53!"

 

Most of the other ponies were starting to get tired as they decreased in speed

A noise came from the hallway. Celestia got up and investigated.

 

Suddenly her vison went black and she faints.

Sapphire almost started chearing, almost. But she ended up just sitting there, eats some popcorn with a grin on her face as she looked at the pony fly around and around. She lost track of how many times they had gone around, and ended up just looking to see who was winning

Whirl keeps flies faster and faster, passing the others. You got this!!!!! He tries harder and harder

 

Spitfire shouts "faster!!! 12....11...10....9..."

The Royal Guards come in and gasp. Celestia was gone while her crown still on the ground burnt

 

"Oh my! Report this now!" 

 

Soon the whole Canterlot was buzzing with the news.

Sapphire was leaning into the screen as a news broadcast poped up over the finial winners. She cryed out "Nooooo!" Then sighed and looked back at the TV, It said "The princess has gone missing, if you see her, call the nearest police!" She tilted hear head and ate some more popcorn

Cloudsdale soon heard the news and all Wonderbolts had to rush to the camp. All Pegusi in training were dismissed.

 

Whirl sighs and flies back down to Ponyvile, He secretly wished to see that mare again. He walks around town mumbling "Ugh I feel so hopeless, Celestia is missing and...and I can't do anything for her!" He paces around and sighs

Sapphire shook her head and grabbed a sandwhich and walked outside, slowly eating it. She walked around the streets, seeing as how there was much panic at one pony being gone. She walked over to the market, most of the places were closed, but a few still open

Whirl keeps mumbling with his head down and then runs into the mare again. "Ah!!!!!" He screams as the both fall over and roll down the hill. When they reach the bottom, he blushes a lot as the mare ends up on top of him. "Uh.....sorry....ma'm" He mumbles as he tries to get up.

Sapphire jumped off of him, blushing like mad. She looked down at him "Im really sorry, I must have missed something today, who knows, I might need glasses" She said as she grabbed a few of the bananas she had dropped, and looked over at the pony she had walked into

Whirl turned around and blushes even crazier. "Oh my, It's...you again?" He walks up to her and picks up her bananas. "So...we meet again," Whirl smiles a silly smile. "Maybe next time we won't meet by bumping into each other" He winks and gives her what she dropped. "Oh I'm Whirlwind...you?"
