Whirl nodded and looked around at Sapphire "Yes! and we need to see Princess Twilight right now!"
He demanded as he started to sweat "uh...where is she?" He said looking inside the library 

 

Spike looked nervous "She said she was going to get something and left earlier today...or earlier" The sun was still not yet up and it had been at least 100 hours since the dissapereace of Celestia

Spike sorta confused and scratched his head,
"well, no not really" He muttered "She just said something about Canterlot and left early in the morning, I must have still been half asleep" He confessed turning a bit red

 

Whirl breathed deeply, "Ok the next train for Canterlot leaves in 30 minutes...." His voice trailed off as he spoke

Whirl blushed and smiles Well, at least i not the only one on edge He thought as scooted closer to her to conserve heat. The temperature of Equestria was dropping. Without any sun, the ponies would die. 

For the next hour the train chugged slowly in the dark land. 

 

Whirl looked over at Sapphire, "Wanna go to the sleeping car to get some rest?"

The train chugged on through the hours. Night and Day was not clear yet.

 

Whirl slowly fell asleep

Whirl was still half asleep as he leaned slightly on her."huh?...uh?..Whoa! Sorry" He said standing up straight. "Whoa.....Canterlot looks deserted! ..."

 

Most of the doors were barricaded and the castle looked dark with gloom. There were only a few ponies running around.

"Yeah...yeah.....I'm...sure she's there..." He said nervously. He wanted to believe that he would find Twilight on the throne with the royal guards but deep down, he had a feeling that this was more serious.

 

He started to walk close by Sapphire. He enjoyed her company and he liked being next to her warm body.

The castle looked completely deserted as they walked around. 

 

Out of the shadows, two eyes gleamed as they watched then vanished..
