Ariel looked at each of them, smiling and letting out a little giggle as her good mood finally returned. And with that good mood, her appetite also returned as her earlier anxiety was all but forgotten - for now, at least. A good thing, too; part of the reason she may have gotten sick before was because she had neglected food for a long while (which, ironically, can indeed make one feel sick to their stomach). She picked up a fork and happily began to eat.

Thunder continued to eat his food and so did Rainbow, Storm, Blitz, Celestia and Cadence. "Did I tell you about the Elements of Harmony yet?" Thunder asked, because he remembered Ariel had asked Rainbow about it, but she never got back to her about it. Celestia smiled.

Ariel looked up at Thunder, flicking her ears curiously. "I... think you did?" She tilted her head slightly. "They're supposed to be, like... really powerful thingies that can defeat evil and stuff?" she said, slightly uncertain whether or not she had fully grasped the concept of the Elements of Harmony.

"Yep! Once combined. It's almost impossible to block the power that comes from it. We first used it when we defeated Nightmare Moon." Rainbow stated. "You know...it was actually first used to defeat Discord, way back when Equestria was founded." Celestia stated. "Oh yeah! How could I forget that? That was way before we existed." Rainbow stated.

Ariel nodded, believing she had heard about this Nightmare Moon ordeal at some point. And she also had heard of Discord, she knew. But, something else clicked in her mind, something she hadn't thought of before... She looked to Celestia and asked, "If it happened before any of us existed, how do we know it happened?"

Ariel nodded, believing she had heard about this Nightmare Moon ordeal at some point. And she also had heard of Discord, she knew. But, something else clicked in her mind, something she hadn't thought of before... She looked to Celestia and asked, "If it happened before any of us existed, how do we know it happened?"

Celestia gathered some magic and the official book on Equestrian history appear from the blue. "It is all in here. I can read it to you we go to bed if you like." Celestia stated as she levitated the book over to the lounge area table, for they were still eating dinner. Thunder smiled.

The little filly looked curiously at the book, briefly examining its cover before it was levitated away from her and to the other table. She was curious already of its contents, wondering what stories of Equestria's history awaited her. But, she supposed that could wait until bedtime.

Thunder continued to eat and so did the others. Cadence looked down at her belly. It was more bloated than before. She blushed, covered her muzzle and giggled cutely. "Alright Cadence. It looks like your hiding something...what is it?" Thunder asked. Cadence continued to giggle. She was giggling because of her belly.

Ariel was still looking over at where the Equestrian history book was as she ate, still curious of its contents. She wanted to know! ...But that was going to be saved for bedtime. She had to tell herself that again. Then she flicked her ears curiously, hearing Cadence giggle. She looked at the princess, now also curious as to what she was giggling about.

Cadence was blushing. She did not want to show her round and distended belly to everypony. "What does it look like?" Cadence asked. "Mmm, your belly." Thunder stated. "H...how did you?" Cadence asked. "I could tell." Thunder stated as he finished the lsat of his food.

Ariel tilted her head, glancing over at Thunder before looking back to Cadence. She was a little confused, and a little curious, though she didn't voice her curiosity as she usually did; the reason being that her curiosity of the book still on the other table was greater than the curiosity brought about by Cadence's behavior. It wasn't long before the filly finished her meal, as well.

"Psst, Ariel, Cadence has a belly now. You can lay on it and even give it a little tickle!" Thunder whispered into Ariel's ear with a soft giggle. Cadence wasn't paying attention. She went to lay on the floor belly-up. Her round and distended belly was sticking up for all to see.

Ariel looked at Thunder, flicking one ear as he whispered to her, and then glanced over at Cadence before letting out a little giggle of her own. She got up, fluttering her little wings and hovering as she drifted towards Cadence. The filly circled around the princess once, sizing her and her belly up, and then let herself land right on Cadence's belly as she giggled again.

Cadence looked up and saw Ariel right on her belly. She giggled cutely and booped Ariel on the muzzle playfully. Blitz and Storm got up to go put the dishes in the sink. "Storm, it's your turn to do the dishes tonight." Thunder reminded. Storm got up and started washing the dishes.

The filly giggled again, her muzzle scrunching slightly when Cadence booped it. Then she reached to return the gesture and boop Cadence on the nose, smiling and giggling playfully, her little wings fluttering happily as they often did whenever she was happy or excited.

Cadence scrunched her muzzled and giggled sillily. She then lightly prodded Ariel on the side unsuspectingly. Meanwhile Storm Rush was doing the dishes and Thunder Dash was cleaning the table. Cadence continued to giggle happily as she continued to play around with Ariel.

Ariel squeaked in surprise as she was poked in the side, and then giggled as she rolled onto her back, showing her own little belly while still lying on Cadence's belly. Looking at Cadence from an upside down perspective as she laid on her back, she smiled and giggled again happily.

Cadence picked Ariel up and sat down. She began to tickle Ariel's little round belly while still giggling. "Aww, that's so adorable!" Thunder said happily. Snakie was hanging out next to Blitz. He let out a soft little hiss. Celestia was laying down close to Rainbow Dash.

Ariel let out a little squeal and started giggling as Cadence started tickling her, flailing her hooves as she was especially ticklish on her little belly.

Cadence giggled at Ariel's silly little giggle and soon stopped. "You are just the sweetest little foal!" Cadence said happily. "Oh she is. I am so glad that I'm her daddy now." Thunder stated as he came and snuggled with Cadence and Ariel.

Ariel let out yet another happy giggle, smiling at the both of them. Her small wings fluttered happily as she snuggled with them, the downy feathers lightly brushing against their sides - soft, but tickling to the touch.

Cadence continued to snuggle with Ariel. Snakie slithered around and and came between the two. "Oh! Looks like your pet snake wants to get into the cuddling!" Cadence said with a giggle. Snakie gently wrapped itself around Ariel and let out a soft loving hiss.

Ariel folded her wings upon her sides once more as she kept snuggling the both of them happily. Then she smiled as she saw Snakie approaching, happy to see her pet snake and and the affection it showed. "Hi, Snakie!" the filly said with a giggle as she petted the little reptile's head gently.

Snakie gave Ariel a little nuzzle. "Remember how I told you I could make my belly bigger?" Cadence asked Celestia had gone to snuggle with Thunder Dash. Thunder gave her a little belly tickle. Celestia giggled happily. Snakie continued to rest on Ariel with his body wrapped around her.

Ariel giggled and nuzzled Snakie in return, always with plenty of affection to show for her family and pet reptile alike. Then she looked at Cadence, flicking her ears and tilting her head curiously. "Yeah?"

 

(OOC: Been thinking about potentially introducing something to the plot here if you want... Not right now probably, but I was thinking something like... Ariel's parents, in jail, demanding to see their daughter, or at least to pass the message along to whoever had her that they want to see her one more time. Perhaps Thunder or Celestia or one of the others would be contacted by the Guard with said message?)
