I think derpy should have an episode going on about how physical disability can seem like it can keep you from your dreams, but as long as you try, you can achieve them.

 

But of course every modernist and SJW ever would explode over the idea that someone achieves somthing of their own accord.

Honestly I want to see an episode focused entirely on background character. That would be epic.

Not if you did it the right way. Anypony watching the show knows that there is a pony with derpy eyes, she has shown up a lot in the show. If we simply shift the focus to her, nopony will question an established cannon character being part of or the focus of an episode.

All thats confirmed is she has a lazy eye, she can fly and function normally, if anything scootaloo's inability to fly is much larger than a little sight problem

She has been shown to have issues with flying, and being extremely inept and destructive. Being so clumsy you destroy town hall is a larger disability than not being able to fly.

Again, the subject of background ponies all together, sure some have talked but a whole episode about them doesn't make any sense at all to me, a minor role perhaps

I think it would be a creative step forward. It would make the world more in depth and interesting. Like saying, 'no there is more stuff going on than what the mane 6 are doing!'

Well it seems I'm late to the conversation. Regarding the piece: I must say, I'm liking this style, the way it has sharp points and turns but doesn't look "jagged", very nice. The theme and the execution of this drawing are cute, and how you textured the mane and tail is impressive. The cutie mark is mirror (3 in front, 4 in back), but that's minor and her cutie mark is easy to derp  . Good work.

I agree with that statement, showing more characters than the mane 6 and emphasizing something outside the major characters would make the world of Equestria much more interesting.

Thats what we have the side characters for, mostly its the CMC but characters like the cakes, or zecora could have an episode and that would make more sense than undestablished characters
