Adding media contact info on side avatar

First off, I'm so sorry that I titled this badly, I had no idea what to name it, honestly.

 

Allow me to explain, as I've seen a topic like this before in this forum, but thought this may be a little different.

 

This is my side avatar on the Sonic Stadium:

 

 

I'm not very active on there. ^^"

 

What I call "side avatar" is the avatar and rank you see next to every post.

 

It's more than likely called something different, so I'm sorry if I'm butchering the actual term. ^^"

 

Anyways, as you look at my "side avatar", you'll notice the similarities and differences between the one on Sonic Stadium, and MLPF.

 

The avatar is the same :3 and so is the placement of the rank. But on MLPF, I just feel under the rank it's a little bit empty, know what I mean? Not that I don't really mind it, it's a nice, clean look for it.

 

I know a member can simply add this info to their signature and whatnot, but it just seems like a more convenient spot to place this info directly under the rank, filling in the little gap. ^^

 

I'm not complaining or anything by any means, just simply suggesting that MLPF has this kind of information to fill in and be shown, just as the one in the picture is.

 

I think it's a cool idea, but I'm sure there will be some that will not agree with my idea. Which I'm perfectly fine with! That's why this topic is open for discussion and reasoning.

I think that information is usually well placed in signatures or on people's "about me" pages. Adds too much clutter to a person's avatar in my opinion

A different pov could say that it clutters up the Sig area, or that no one really reads an About Me page (do you? )

Well yeah I read about me pages most of the time, at least the first time I visit someone's page. I just don't think it's necessary to see someone's PSN, Skype, etc every single time they post by their avatar. And not everyone has a signature. Everyone has an avatar. And it doesn't really clutter it up, that's kind of the point of a signature, and the about me page.

Sorry but I prefer how it is now.

 

The forum is clearer that way, and if one wants to know about a member, he simply has to go to his profile.
