Benclank01 0 May 2, 2014 Share May 2, 2014 (edited) Hello everypony, What if there's a documentary to the fans' reaction to the Alicorn Twilight and Equestria Girls? What if this documentary will be inspired to The People vs. George Lucas? It's something that I wanted, people want the truth to this "downfall" and what they reacted to the whole conspiracy. Give your opinion to this now, please! Edited May 2, 2014 by Benclank01

Simon 4,557 May 2, 2014 Share May 2, 2014 I don't think it's documentary worthy... you have to remember, most people don't even know who bronies are yet, so they're not going to run out and watch a documentary about a single event in a fandom they know nothing about. Plus I would hardly hope that one of the few documentaries made about bronies is something that would in all likelihood paint us all out to be overly obsessive controlling fans with anger issues. As a youtube video made by a fan for bronies, it'd be interesting, but I just don't see it having any potential as an actual documentary. I think if anything, I'd be more interested in a documentary about fan reactions to big changes in shows and movies and whatnot in general. Something talking about fan reactions to things like Star Wars continuing on for a third trilogy, all the comic movie remakes, Star Trek: Enterprise, etc. I think that would have a much broader appeal than just Equestria Girls and Alicorn Twilight.

I agree, but I wanted all the bronies reacting to this "downfall", whether it is good or disappointing. You see, I'm not doing a documentary. I wanted everypony to give their opinion of my idea, I don't care it will be a bad idea to do this right now. But it's their opinion. Dattebayo 2,850 May 2, 2014 Share May 2, 2014 No...more...brony documentaries.... They all backfire and make us look like chumps... ESPECIALLY this hypothetical one. ^Click for my Deviant Art^ You truly are the Rosa Parks of not understanding what r34 is.
Benclank01 0 May 2, 2014 Author Share May 2, 2014 Nah, hearing people's reactions and opinions like 'blind commentaries'' are not for me. :/ I know, even though people are just disappointing at the first place. But people are now calmer about the Alicorn and Equestria Girls, but I wanted all the bronies about why this existed.
Simon 4,557 May 2, 2014 Share May 2, 2014 No...more...brony documentaries.... They all backfire and make us look like chumps... In fairness, we've only had one brony documentary with any sort of broad release, so it's hard to make a generalization about all brony documentaries. A Brony Tale has only been premiered so only a handful of people have seen it, and that's had all good reviews from what I've seen, but until it's had it's broad release you can't really say it's going to make us look bad. The Brony Documentary granted had some flaws in it, but I'd hardly say it made us look like chumps. I think there's definitely a lot to criticize about it, but I think if a documentary was handled in a different manner, it could have a really positive effect on the fandom. I heard there were mixed reactions on Wikipedia that the first My Little Pony documentary about the fandom, some people like it but a lot of people don't like it because it's too much male bronies than female pegasisters. But, I still people wanted about their reactions to the whole "downfall", it is all part of my idea.
Adorkable 2,737 May 3, 2014 Share May 3, 2014 Oh okay, I was about to say there's already a documentary of Bronies, but I see what you're saying. I actually don't think it would turn out too good, at all. Documentaries are meant to cover wide subjects, while covering just Alicorn Best Pony and Equestria Girls would be digging into the Brony fandom. That said, they would have to first cover Bronies, which has already been done, then cover reactions. But the question rises...how does one document a reaction? I don't think I've heard of such a thing before.
