How did you find MLP Forums?: i was trying to find real people to talk to about MLP to help write my research paper.

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: My 5 year old brother came home one day from school and said hey sit down and watch this you'll like it, and now two years later I am a senior in high school and decided this is the topic I picked as a final writing assignment for high school.

If anyone could help me, I am writing a research paper about the Brony community. Why it's not creepy for grown men to like a little girls tv show. And how it's not a stereotyped show and how it is the most accepting community of people, how the show shows adults lessons about friendship because obviously they don't know. And how it so relate-able to pop culture and so on and so forth i would love some input to help because it's hard for one person to explain why it isnt just for little girls!!!

I think the best thing here is the community. All the artists, Musicians, Writers, or just people who love to watch the show. I think it's not creepy, it's just stereotypical that people think that bronies are "Mentally disabled" or "Stupid". If you see a male in middle school with a MLP shirt, they're going to get beat up. If you see a girl with one on, people accept it. This is the part that people can't get used to, if they're not like everyone else, then they're mental. The community is what kept me here after the first few months, and that's what it's going to forever

Aside from that I can't help you much other than saying that the show is good and people today are open to change.

The only thing I have to say on this is that the show has amazing music, stupendous character development, beautiful animations, and if most little girls that watch the show can't even begin to follow the storyline it's so in  depth. Sure it's entertaining, but most can't follow and relate to the real life problems that the ponies go through in several episodes. So, yeah.
