Can someone explain Rarity having 'Agent Smith' powers S4E23

I know this is kind of old since it's not a new episode. I am just curious about how Rarity just made Octavia from another pony. It was even funny how a stallion turned into a mare. I know I shouldn't be taking it to seriously, but I just find this bizarre and want to talk about it 

 

You think the characters were swapped? or did Rarity make another Octavia?

I don't even remember these two things happening. But then again I guess I'd have to say that it's from that spell book of hers.

She was under the influence of incredibly strong dark magic that was targeted at enhancing her already highly creative mind while simultaneously corrupting it because...well, dark magic

It was just for that one episode

The dark magic enhanced her creativity even more to corrupt it, so that is what caused Rarity to do that.
