NewCalamity 3,454 March 16, 2012 Share March 16, 2012 The new effect for changing the ponyville background into night is not appearing properly and tiles itself. This is not an issue of great importance but I thought it to be wise to bring this into the light and to see if any others are also encountering this problem. It tiles itself both in the live chatroom and while browsing the forums normally. Thank you for reading this issue! Nico 790 March 16, 2012 Share March 16, 2012 (edited) I got this same problem, and it was fixed by simply clearing my cache. Try that and then see if it works. Edited March 16, 2012 by Nico
joeyh3 153 March 16, 2012 Share March 16, 2012 This is occurring on Firefox as well. It was working fine for a while, and just started a couple of minutes ago. Cache clearing didn't do the trick for me.

I tried clearing out my cache, plenty of internet files were deleted. Unfortunately the problem persists! I will restart my computer and double check that my cache has been properly cleared. EDIT: Computer has been restarted and cache has been cleared properly, problem is still here. Very odd. Edited March 16, 2012 by NewCalamity 1 Ob's stürmt oder schneit. | Whether it storms or snows. Nico 790 March 16, 2012 Share March 16, 2012 (edited) The problem is back for me, now, too. Hmmm... This puts a kink in a pretty good plan for a nifty background. I'll look into it further, but I can't guarantee much. Edit: Okay, from what I can tell it's not an issue that can be fixed on my end, as I've done pretty much all I can do as far as tuning up my browser a bit. I'm supposing Feld0 will have to look into why this is happening, sadly. Edited March 16, 2012 by Nico

Odd, I just checked in chrome if it was fixed, and cleared the cache, still getting the error in Firefox and Chrome... Founder Twilight Sparkle ✨ 8,527 March 16, 2012 Founder Share March 16, 2012 All done (and I fixed the profile problem A TF2 Pegasister reported, even though it is not related to the night background)! I did much more extensive testing, and my patches now work properly on the following browsers: Internet Explorer 9 Opera 11.61 Firefox 11.0 Chrome 18 Please clear your cache and see if the problem persists. If it does, please update your browser to the latest version. I will not be making any changes to support older browser versions than the ones listed above. That said, please let me know if you find any other problems with the skin, or if something slipped past me with this issue. 3 Avatar credit: robinrain8 Signature credit: Kyoshi
