Long ago, there existed a kingdom called Equestria, ruled by two regal sisters. The elder sister raised the sun, while the younger raised the moon. For many years, peace reigned until a feud arose between the two rulers. Eventually, the feud became an all out war between two groups: The Solar Empire, ruled by Celestia, and the New Lunar Republic, led by Luna. For an unknown amount of years, the two sides fought, with the Solar Empire eventually winning. With the NLR receding into the ruins of Canterlot and Equestria in ruins, Celestia disappered, leaving the leaders of her army to rule. These leaders soon formed the Sol Republic and brought Equestria under their rule. In the year 150 A.W. (After War), Equestria is a technologically advanced nation, and a utopia where everyone is free.

SETTING

 

The roleplay takes place in Equestria after a war between Celestia and Luna ended the many years of peace. It is now a nation divided into many cities, with the Celestial City (the capital) having been built over the ruins of Canterlot. Everypony seems to be happy, but there are many dark secrets that this nation seems to be hiding.

 

TECHNOLOGY AND SOCIETY

 

Postwar Equestria is a highly advanced nation that seems to worship Celestia as a goddess, with no mention of Luna, save for prewar history. Population in the cities is controlled, and machines serve ponies. The government controls all industry and economic decisions, including food. The citizens are kept under constant survelliance, save for the government. Literature and other media is edited constantly, depending on what the government's policies are.
