Shining Armor and corndogs

yyyyyyeah...there seems to be a meme going around involving Shining Armor and corndogs.....can someone explain it to me? where did it come from?

I believe it comes from the Friendship is Witchcraft fan series, where shots from the show are reorganized/voiced over to form a whole new take on an episode.

Shining Armor was kinda... pegged very strongly as a dude-surfer-guy, and one of the funniest lines he had in the reimagining of the wedding episode involved his love for corndogs.

i think it started from an interview with Andrew Francis (Shining Armor's voice actor) during a bronycon in which he asked for corndogs in the middle of the interview.

 

it may or may not be from the same con where Tara strong cosplayed as Twilight Sparkle and he responded with "Twily!"
