Lust smiled in confidence over the squirming little mare. Even as an alicorn, her cowered state made the wolf seem giant to her. "Little Lightning Bliss... always one to run from a fight, and let your friends take your troubles. While you watch in your pathetic sadness, they nearly die to save your white flank. Im surprised Seth even considers your worthless self a 'friend'. " He lashed out, anger in his eyes. He had wished Blight had just given the information he needed, he hated ever talking to this brat.

 

"Sadly... I can't kill you yet. I need a little something. What is the prophecy?"

Looking over the form of the mare, she seemed to only worsen with his acts. "It's magical... from what I can tell, it's a curse. However... I cannot be sure.  I don't know what to say. It started out as hypothermia, then escalated to this. I... Im sorry..." He said, departing the room and going to the waiting area. Sitting alone, he tried to think if it really was his fault. It sure felt like it.

The doctor could only sigh and nod to the diplomatic wolf as he left the room then continued to look at his charts.

 

"Doctor?" A nurse pink unicorn pony approached with the last ice bag, placing it promptly on the Princess's head, "will she be ok? Prehaps I should contact the Royal Guard to send a message to their Highnesses Celestia and Luna?"

 

"And tell them what Nurse Rose?" The doctor sighed again as he continued to the at the charts, "I'm not even sure where this magical curse is conjuring from, or how it got here. Without those details there's not much the princesses could do I'm afraid... No... we have to keep Princess Lightning Bliss sedated, and calm, otherwise her fever will continue to skyrocket. Untill then..." He placed a hoof on the caring nurse's shoulder, "we will do some research and see where this curse is tarting her vitals...Give her a few ccs of sleeping tonic."

 

"Will do doctor," the nurse nodded and went to get a sedative to fill up as he left the room. Once she was alone with the alicorn, she came up to her, inserting the needle into one of her IVs. She looked down, and could see that the white alicorn was far too week to speak, but her eyes were open slightly, they were filled with fear... "Don't worry your highness...This will help you sleep..."

 

"No...." Bliss tried to stop her, but was too late as the injection went in...her mind..pulled back to the dark once more.

"Get away from me..." she begged the blood thirsty wolf, "I...I know nothing! Stay back!" She thrusted her weaken form to her hooves and thrusted a magical response back at the vampire. It was a weak, faded color of a rainbow beam and it merely went through his spirit form like it were light.

 

Panting desperatly... "Monster...ERRRAHHHHHH!!!" She threw her head into the next rainbow blast. The beam was slightly stronger, but the same result as before, going straight through her villian...The effort though was more then enough to send her slumping back down on her side. "I'll tell you...NOTHING! *coughs*"

A time following her prank, and still a ways from their destination. Badaboom allowed herself an uneeded nap, if only to pass the time. Almost instantly she found herself in a very vivid dream state. In a realm of black emptiness, lit only by an ominous red glow, curtiousy of a rather large moon hovering directly overhead. Boom observed her blank surroundings with an odd sense of déjà vu. She called out a echoing hello, and got a rather unsettling response.

 

"About time! A voice shockingly similar to Boom's own called back. Raising a curious brow Badaboom quickly looked in all directions that the mare's voice seemed to resonate from. "We've been needin' this chat for a very, VERY long time." the voice continued. Then Boom seen the source a shadowy figure on the Moon began to decend until it came into view.

 

There in front of her Badaboom was face to face with a spitting image of herself, but with the red eyes and fangs of her Vampiric state. "Uh? And just what you mean by that? I've heard from countless sources that it's pretty unhealthy to talk to yourself." Boom spoke out in her usual sarcastic way.

 

"Is that right? Well, it's also pretty unhealthy to bury yourself in your own mind. Boom's clone retorted. "Wouldn't you agree?...actually don't bother. For obvious reasons I know you enough to already know your answer. So sad that you don't know me though, buried away for such a long time." Badaboom's mirror image cast her eyes down kicking the nonexsistant ground.

 

"Heheh, I know you enough to see through that ploy. What exactly did ya wanna say to...uh, yourself?" Badaboom tried to hold her sarcastic demeanor. For an unknown reason she was uncomfortable around this version of herself, just the aura about her seemed different, off in its own way. The answer was not what Boom wanted to hear. "Only this. The Vampire Boom paused a moment as purple accented bat wings sprouted from her back in a red mist of blood. "Prepare yourself. The BloodMoon Princess returns...soon."

 

With a single flap of her new wings the dream abruptly ended, as Boom cast her head about side to side to again be greeted by the bright day, clear skies above, sea of clouds below. Sidewinder casually continuing to pilot the Jenny, with Atlas in the rear, managing to keep up quite well. Badaboom wanted to rub her eyes, but dared not to remove her goggles as that seemed to be the most important rule given during flight. Instead she simply turned off her still playing headphones dropping the headset around her neck. "So, how much longer, pilot!?!" She called to Sidewinder, wondering just how long she'd been out.

Even though the effects of the rays were minimal, the vampire was still agitated by the effort. Running up to the mare, he gripped her by the throat, stood on his hind legs, hand held her a good foot off the ground. Squeezing with some force, he growled fiercely. "You pathetic mare... I should have ended your life the day I came to power!" He said, tossing the mare aside. 

 

With much agitation, he walked a few feet away from the mare. "If my kind words won't get the information, maybe a little persuasion can. Your pathetic plaything of a wolf is putty in my paws... Tell me the full prophecy or I can make your little doggy go after the royals. Who knows... Celestia might look pretty good with fangs." He said, turning with a smile to the mare.

As Seth sat at the waiting room, he knew the fate of Bliss was only deteriorating. She was dying. It was his fault. There was nothing he could do... just wait here and let her die.

 

Well... there was another option. He could... turn her. If the venue within him had turned him, he had still not seen a sight of Lust. It was an option... however, he hated it. But there was nothing else. It only made him regret standing from the chair and walking to the room.

 

Standing over the mare, his eyes red and fangs present, he couldn't help but shed a tear as he knew what must me done. "Forgive me... Forgive me for what I am about to do...please..."

Bliss chocked, and groaned as she was tossed to the side in the realms of her mind. Even though it was a nonexisting plane...her mind was being attacked on a physical and emotional level as it was... But after hearing the threat Lust presented to her....her bottom lip quivered with fear and despair.

 

"You...you wouldn't!!!" She pleaded, only to shudder when she saw those evil red eyes glaring at her in a mocking stare. It was all over the vampire's form...he wasn't bluffing... "Gah..." she laid on her back, covering her face with her wings, "It's the...the return of the Vampire Princess Prophecy..." she blurted out from behind her wings, "the vampire will come back and bring her people back into our world of existence and purge them from their imprisonment...But that she will be forced to fight a lord of evil for her title and...On a blood red moon...taking the life force and power of a royal she will emer-"

 

She realized that she had just sentenced herself to a grusome fate...

 

"Oh Luna and Celestia no..." she cried out and curled up into a ball.

 

-- Outside --

 

The nurse came in after an hour or so with another sedative and a few bags of ice when she ran right into Seth's backside.

 

"Oh Lord Seth, so sorry!" She sat up and injected the sedative into the alicorn's IV. "She'll be ok my lord...she will...We're just...keeping her stable until we figure out what's wrong... Is there anything I can get you?"

With his information acquired, he gave a light smile to the cowering mare. "Give my regards to Blight. It won't be long till I see her beauty again." Lust said as he departed. His mission was successful, and now it was up to  the weak-willed Seth to finish the second half. If Bliss's body was that source of ultimate power, then his plan would be a success. It would be easy to take Bliss's weak state now... but he needed a bloodmoon. This would be hard...

As the wolf stood over the mare, he gave a light nod to the nurse. "If you wouldn't mind, I would like to to be alone with her." He said in a saddened tone. The mare nodded and departed without another word. Seeing Bliss's nearly lifeless form, Seth knew what he had to do.

 

However, even with the knowledge that she was about to die... he couldn't make himself do the act. He couldn't explain it... it just was preventing him from biting her. Now wasn't the time. Later. But for now.. what could he do? These docs were worthless... He needed to take care of her himself. For now, he would have to take her with him. With a swipe of his claws, he cut the electronic cables and disconnected the sedative IV. As a few alarms from the machines sounded, the wolf grabbed the mare and tossed himself plus her out of the nearest window. Thankfully they were on ground level, so the impact was minimal. With the mare on his back, the wolf began to run.

"Mmm...." Bliss groaned, trying to fight the sedative...not wanting to be stuck in her mind with a living vampierc nightmare. She could feel herself against a warm fluffy body...and it was moving? They were moving? I should...be in a bed...a hospital...where am I? Where am I...going? She struggled to open her eyes desperatly, and managed to get a flicker of them open.

 

What she saw was worrysome...The buildings of the Canterlot alleys were flying behind her in a blur, as whatever...or whoever was carrying her...was moving with great speed.

 

"S-Seth...? No...*coughs*" she groggily spoke, her voice weak and damp, "Lust...who...are you...? Where...you...taking...mmm..." her head dropped, slumping over the side of her napper.

"Good news sleepy head!" Blight called to the weakend form of Bliss, "you'll be meeting your end soon enough!"

 

"What have you done..." Bliss demanded lifting her head up, "you're doing this to me aren't you!"

 

 "Oh look who finally caught on..."    Blight smiled as she emerged out of nowhere, standing over her better half,   "Yes, it was I who dispelled my little torture illness curse...Frankly I wouldn't have been able to if it weren't for you reading that book."

 

"The book? What does the book have to do with anything?" Bliss lifted her head up.

 

"It is the prophecy you fool..." she snorted and walked passed Bliss. "The prophency within the book was the key to releasing your hold on my existence... I'm not free from the physcic chains of your dark side...and been given my own soul, mind and free will. Now that the prophecy is in the making, I can now conjure some magic to some extent... And I have chose to make you ill..."

 

"So you can keep me from preventing the prophecy..." Bliss snorted and stood up.

 

"Exactly, quite a brilliant scheme isn't? But I can't...*giggles*" She held her mouth as she bellowed a laugh.

 

"What in the name of Equestria is so dang funny?" Bliss demanded, taking a step forward.

 

"Oh nothing, just a silly irony. Even though I am now my own pony self, I was created by your dark entities by our maker Lust. But I'm still attatched to you till the deed is done...So the irony is...You are making yourself sick!"

 

"Shut up Blight..." Bliss snorted again and slumped down.

Feeling the mare struggle atop him, Seth knew he had to keep moving. But to where? This was a rash move, meaning that there were going to be major problems. He was going to have to act on his paws. 

 

As he ran, he did know of one place where he could keep the mare safe for a bit... or at least for a night. Running for the outskirts of the city, he began his search for his old home. Seth was a resident of ponyville, but when first beginning his diplomatics, he was given a house outside of Canterlot. He only stayed there for day trips to Canterlot, but it was available to him.

 

As he ran, he was gaining a few stares from the locals. Sure, when a wolf runs by, no big deal. With a princess, is on his back, it's the front page. Well... it sort of made sense when he worded it like that.

She struggled to open her eyes again, refusing to fall back asleep and having to listen to Blight's constant mocking and instead focused her sights on the top of the wolf's head since it was the only thing she could really see being on his back and all.

 

"Where....*coughs*....taking...me?" She struggled to make sense of the situation...though admittingly, she was scared. Why would Seth take her away from the hospital when he tried so hard to get her there in the first place. "Why...Seth...? Take...me...back? P-p-please...*coughs*."

 

Just then as they zoom passed through another dark alley, two royal guards that were on patrol spotted the familiar white alicorn laying on a speeding wolf. They blinked at each other for a moment, then frowned knowing it was too suspicious for them to ignore, especially since it was Princess Lightning Bliss they were recongizing.

 

They both galloped into another alley, cutting off Seth's escape before leaping in front of him. The brown unicorn guard stepped forth first, weilding his spear upward in a defensive stance with his white pegasus partner backing him up.

 

"Hault there!" The unicorn guard ordered Seth, "where are you taking the Princess Lightning Bliss?"

(Well this is going to be an awkward post) 

 

Sure enough after a bit of flying around Atlas caught sight of a small airstrip near Canterlot and just out of view. It wasn't the smallest place but it wasn't that small either. He came to a graceful landing next to the airstrip. I felt good to be back on his hooves again after a long flight even if he wasn't tired by it. Badaboom was probably already here unless the plane crashed or something which he seriously doubted. There was a number of things to do while here. Get a place to stay, plan the trip, and send a couple letters. Not too much but it may take awhile depending on the pace they went on.

 

Look at all the fresh meals! Most of Atlas's attention was on not attacking the nearest pilot or worker. Fresh bags of blood at every turn. Just one bit wouldn't hurt... He snapped out of daze of starring at one of the pilots. He looked around making sure no one noticed. Good. Now to find Badaboom and Sidewinder. Time was not to be wasted.

 

(Do you just want to say Sidewinder left right away? We shouldn't drag this out too long)

Badaboom had been at the airstrip outside of Canterlot for awhile now, and had already said her goodbyes to her friend, being that Sidewinder had a peculiar urge to head back to Breezy's airstrip. There wasn't any hard feelings between the Pegasus and Boom, she even gave him her address for future reference, should any complications arise. She paced lazily back and forth with her overloaded saddlebags on, awaiting the arrival of Atlas. The airstrip was a little small, but would be easily spotted from the sky.

 

It felt a lot longer than it had been before Badaboom caught sight of her Pegasus friend, his eyes moving hungrily from pony to pony amungst the surprisingly slightly crowded airport. Trotting up along side of him Boom stopped a few paces away, she hadn't forgotten the prank she had played earlier, and was on guard for a retaliation. "So, Atlas there was a couple things you wanted to get done here any way right?" Boom questioned curiously. "Sidewinder decided to head back into the mountains. He did kinda give an apology though."

 

Badaboom waited a few moments and motioned to the Capital City, still a decent ways to walk. "Shall we get moving? Just be careful. I know there is a lot of easy targets about, but remember not to draw too much attention to yourself." The mare warned starting to walk in the direction of Canterlot. It felt good to Badaboom knowing how close to home she was. This weekend hadn't been quite what she had hoped her vacation to be, however all wasn't bad. In fact she sort of appreciated the outcome, minus a certain obvious sections.

"Er, what?" Atlas stopped staring at nearby ponies hungrily to see Boom in front of him. "Oh. Hi. Yeah, there is some things here and there I need to do. Sides left? Well he did seem to want to be with Breezy... Oh well. Looks like it's just for a while" He kinda wanted to like Sidewinder. Too late now though. "Where was I? Things to do... First..." He looked down worried. "We need to get the 'thing' over with. I can't walk around Canterlot staring at everyone's necks..." He bit his lip. He was not going to enjoy this one bit. He needed to do it though. It was the first step to getting back on track and accepting this whole thing as much as Atlas hated the idea of being okay with being a vampire.

 

"And after the 'thing' maybe we can get lunch and I can give you the rundown on what else and we can make a plan. Speaking of lunch... Is eating even a thing I need to do now? Since I don't get tired or anything is food still important?" The question was way out in right field but it came to mind. Atlas had a lot to learn about being a vampire.

 

Atlas approached her and took his own saddle bags. "I could carry you bags if you want. They seem a bit heavy on you. Well let's get going. The quicker I do this the better" Why had Atlas asked to carry her bags, he didn't know. Politeness he supposed. The bit in his stomach grew deeper the more he thought of sucking the blood out of a pony. Just don't think about it. Just don't think about it.

Seth looked up at the waking mare. Sadly, he had no intention of telling her why he did what he did. He only needed to save her life, and that needed concentration. She couldn't have her begging for him to stop. "Im saving your life... you have to trust me Blight!" He called out. The wolf was so out of it that he didn't even notice his slip up.

 

When the guards appeared, Seth skidded to a stop. When they demanded to know what he was doing, Seth's eyes flared red with anger as he growled lowly. "Step... Away..." He growled. When both lowered their spears in defiance, the wolf only grew more angered. "Step away, and I will spare you both..." With that comment, they slowly stepped closer. However, it was no use.

 

Tossing Bliss off his back, Seth charged the guards before they had a chance to react. Jumping over the spears, he hit one of the ponies down to the ground with his shear force. With one pony down, he only had one pony to go. Glaring at the second, he barely dodged a spell cast by the unicorn guard. It was the last spell he would perform. Charging at him, the demonic wolf sent a paw clean through the metal armor, into the pony's chest. "I told you... step aside." He said in a dark voice. The ponies eyes were still, as he soon fell over in a dead heap. 

 

Looking back to Bliss, the wolf slowly approached, picking her back up.

With a weak smile, Badaboom kept pace towards the city. "Little impatient, huh?" She inquired towards Atlas's anxiety to feed. Fully understanding the need though, she also figured it best to get that 'thing' out of the way. However Atlas did bring up another question, this one regarding food. "Well you don't need to actually eat solid foods, but it's better if you do. Hunger can still get to ya if ya let it go long enough. It won't kill ya, but can get rather annoying."

 

Badaboom figured her explanation was good enough, it was just small talk to her. Atlas then offered to take her bags, but she kindly denied him. "Thanks, but if you really want to get the deed outta the way, probably best if yer not weighed down." She added as the duo arrived at the outskirts of Canterlot. It had been awhile since her last visit, and she nearly forgotten how crowded it was. Worst of all the type of snobby individuals that made up a large percentage of the population.

 

It was almost a certainty from the amount of ponies, that the pair would be able to find a suitable target to prey upon. Badaboom couldn't help but notice the attention of most was directed in a single direction, surely something was or had happened recently. However she was more intent on examining passerby's in search for anyone who may be labeled as shady, but so far she didn't have much luck. "Just let me know if you see any pony that catches yer eyes, okay?" It seemed rushed, and a little cold to say, but Boom felt it neasacery that she allowed Atlas to choose his prey.

So food wasn't needed. Noted. But he could still eat. Good. He liked food. 

"Impatient isn't quite the work I would use" He was anxious, that was true. He had good reason though. 

 

Oh, great. She wants me to pick a pony. In his mind he was picking a pony to die. Atlas the Executioner. What an appealing title... He scanned the crowd for anypony who seemed shady or anything of the sort. Where was everyone headed? Ponies seemed to do that a lot. Go to random happenings like moths to a flame. 

 

The general choice was unnerving. All of these ponies could die by his hoof. No... She looks like a mother... He looks fairly important. Him too. She just doesn't look bad... Her? No... Maybe him. Nah. They all seemed like good ponies to him. A life was a life. He looked around again. None. Again. Still none. 

 

Chose damnit! The longer this takes the harder. 

 

Don't stop, don't think. The words of his sergeant during air diving training popped into his head. That wasn't fun at all. You have to jump from a fairly high up cloud wings tucked and then open them again at tree level which is, to be frank, fairly nerve racking.

Don't stop, don't think. If you do you won't jump. And if you don't jump there's no way you're going to try again. Interesting memory for this moment but it worked.

 

"That one" Atlas pointed at a unicorn mare hugging the wall going in the opposite direction of crowd. She had a dark blue coat with a black mane. On her head was a ballcap which was under a hoodie. Good enough for now.

 

"Follow my lead" Atlas threw on a jacket from his bags. A bit hot but needed. Atlas made a beeline for her from where he was. 

 

"Ma'am?" Asked Atlas with his best worried sick face.

 

"Yeah, what? Go bother someone else" She scoffed not even bothering to look at him.

 

"Ma'am, please help. Me and my sister here," He pointed at Boom. They looked nothing alike but it would do. "Are looking for our little brother" Best sob story? Best sob story.

 

"What? No, I ain't helping you" She told him in disgust.

 

"Please do" Atlas grabbed her foreleg urging her. His grip ws strong on her not letting go.

 

"Ow! Let go!" He gripped her leg harder and more or less dragged her to the nearest alleyway. Nopony stopped them or even seemed to care. Don't stop, don't think. 

"Let go!" She more or less screamed. 

 

"I'm sorry" Was all Atlas could say to her. He pulled her to the far back of the alley then pinned her to the wall. 

 

"Now what?" Atlas asked Boom already knowing the answer. His face of fake concern was replaced with real concern. Don't stop, don't think.

Bliss's mind was fading in and out with conciousness to the point she could now feel Blight's presence even now as she watched the scene unfold of Seth...or Lust...tearing the royal guards apart. She couldn't hold back herself from gagging and throwing up at the sight of his paw tearing through armor, through pony flesh as she watched.

 

Funny...never thought Seth had it in him...then again that wasn't really his doing...Lust is here... Blight's voice echoed.

 

"No..." Bliss shivered as Seth..no Lust's deed was done and he gripped her, throwing her back on his back. "No....stop it..." She struggled on the furry back, her back hunches lightly kicking his sides though making no real difference. Then quite suddenly in a distance, probably in a side alley, she could hear other voices...sounding like three of them...two females and a male? "Help..." she called out, "help..."

 

Stop fighting him... you're just making yourself suffer more...Wait...what are you doing???!!! Blight's voice echoed in shock as she realized Bliss was focusing her magic.

 

"No...I won't...be...lunch...to....VAMPIRES!" She suddenly teleported off Seth's back, landing on her feet weakly in the area where she thought she heard the voices. Landing in a heap of trash in another dark alley, she lifted her head up...looking to the voices she heard...Only to her shock...it was Badaboom...and Atlas...preying on a victiem.

 

Oh well...this is.....kinda a problem... Blight echoed hestiently in her mind, hmm...now what genius?

Seth was tired of the mare's screams for help that wouldn't come. He was her savior, and it was the only way for her to live. He just wish she could see that. however, at hearing a scream, Seth looked in the direction just as a blinding flash erupted from behind. Stumbling a bit, the wolf looked around as his vision cleared. Bliss was gone. "Damn!" He growled out in rage. Unfortunately, he was not the only one to hear his yell. More royal guards could be heard moving towards the ally. With a slight growl under his breath, the wolf was forced to run. They didn't see who killed the guards, but his bloody paw didn't help matters. At a distance however, he just looked like an angry wolf.

 

Dashing through allies and back streets, the wolf tried to gain as much distance as he could in order to evade any guards that could be fallowing. He kept his head looking back to make sure he wasn't fallow. Sadly, he didn't see the three mares and one stallion he was about to run into. Without losing any speed, he hit the pack head on and fell to the ground. "Bloody hell... why the fuck are you all just standing here..." He groaned, standing up slowly.

The mare forced against the wall looked at Atlas in horror. She had no idea what was going on but she just wanted out. With a flash Lighting Bliss appeared behind Atlas.

 

"Help!" She screamed for dear life.

 

Don't stop, don't think. The phrase went over and over in his head blocking out anything else. "Oof!" Atlas fell tot he ground as a charging wolf rammed into him. The wolf had said something but he hadn't quiet heard it. That voice was familiar though... Seth? Oh, no. No, no no. Not now. Action, Atlas! Do something. Before the wolf was fully on his paws Atlas gave him a good knock to the temple and back knocking him out cold or at the very least winded him for a few seconds which was long enough. Atlas's was only on autopilot. Everything else wasn't important. Anything that came near him would get hurt. 

 

The mare saw the opening to flee and made a break for the street. Atlas didn't let her go but a few feet. With another scream she was dragged back into the alley.

 

Atlas looked down at his pinned victim. 

"Don't stop, don't think" He repeated unconsciousnessly. His eyes swapped to a dark red and fangs extended from his mouth. The mare looked up in terror at what she was seeing. This couldn't be real. Vampires weren't real! How! Atlas finally let his hunger win and dug his teeth into her neck.

 

Slowly Atlas felt some warmth hit him a creep over him. It felt good. He felt good. Refreshing to say the least. The act went by all to fast as Atlas let the mare go. Her limp and pale body fell to the stone floor with a thump. He had just killed a pony... Not out of defense like many times before but- Don't stop, don't think. Now wasn't the time. Seth was here. Seth was danger.

 

"Come one!" Atlas grabbed Boom and threw her on his back if she liked it or not. Wolves couldn't track scent from the air right? Even if he did a single diplomat from some far-off country wouldn't have enough leverage to get Atlas arrested or something. 

"I'm taking us to a friend's house. I'll give you a rundown there" The house was close by thankfully. It was a large house not as big as one of the richest types like Fancy Pants and Photo Finish but was still large. Atlas gave a hard knock on the oak door, Boom still on his back. In moments a Earth Pony stallion answered the door.

"Atlas? What are-" He was cutoff by Atlas bolting and slamming the door behind them.

"Not now, Done. A wolf is after me and I need to hide. Oh, this is Boom" Atlas added dropped her off his back.

Playing along with Atlas's plan of attack without actually saying anything. Badaboom covered her expression with one of worry towards her false sibling, while observing her friend's tactics. Not bad, lowering the target's defenses with a off topic predicament. The mare however simply brushed the ploy away, heartless. Boom thought, what if they truly did have a missing family member? She couldn't really call this pony evil in any sense, but obviously cold hearted, and definitely not one that seemed would have many friends that would miss her.

 

Then Atlas made is move pulling her from the streets into an alley way he pinned the dark coated mare against the brick wall of the nearest building. Badaboom swiftly disappeared into the side street as well keeping an eye out for any pony that could possibly stumble across the scean. The mare was making a rather noticeable fuss. Boom spun her head around when she headed Atlas's inquiry.

 

"Instinct, you don't really need a manual...Jus' don't think about it and-" Badaboom's reply was cut short by the sudden appearance of Lightning Bliss, who arrived in a flash of light. She didn't seem to have improved much since yesterday, she even looked a little worse. Before Boom could even say anything, and with her attention drawn she found herself pushed over, her head striking the wall.

 

Feeling a little dazed Boom saw the furry figure of Seth standing amungst the toppled group. Then doing as she had instructed Atlas let his instincts take over making quick work to temporarily disorient the wolf, and suddenly preventing the escape of his target. A few moments following his deed was done, the unicorn mare had been drained of her life force, and as Atlas would soon come to discover magical energy as well. Just as Badaboom lifted herself back to her hooves she took a single step towards Lightning Bliss, questions filling her confused mind. However it seemed that they'd go unanswered as Atlas continued to let his body make all the choices.

 

Boom felt herself be tossed around onto Atlas's back as her Pegasus friend quickly took flight to retreat from the recuperating wolf. Informing her as to where they were headed, Boom held her gaze on the Princess as long as she could, trying to decipher what was going on. The pair soon found themselves on the doorstep of one of Atlas's aqaitences. The Pegasus didn't allow the Earth Pony who answered the door to say anything before pressing through slamming the door behind.

 

Finally being dropped onto her hooves Boom looked around the house, as Atlas introduced her. "Nice to meet ya." She stated carelessly before turning to Atlas. "What's the deal? Why did we run? Something is obviously up between Blissy and Seth. I mean, why did LB suddenly appear like that, especially in her current condition?" She continued to inquire. Truthfully Atlas probably had the right mind set after what had happened the night previous. Seth was unpredictable, and it was probably best to get outta dodge before anything could escalate. There was one bit of "good" that came out from the ordeal. Atlas would be set free of the thirst for the next year or so, allowing his mind to be at ease. That is of course how well he could cope with taking a life.

"Why'd I get out? Cause I can't stand being near them now. Not after the cabin" Atlas whispered to Boom not letting Done Deal hear anything. 

"Hey, Done. Mind if we stay the night at your place for a bit. We're kinda hiding out right now"

 

"Of course, Atlas. We're friends and you know good and well that I have too much room in this house as it is"

 

"Thanks, Done" Atlas sighed. He shook his head looking down. 

 

"Something up? Well, besides you getting yourself into trouble again?"

 

"Nah. Just some tiring stuff lately"

 

"Ah" Done took a look of Boom. Something was off about her, he just knew it. None of his business though. "Who's she? Not everyday you drag somepony else along. She your lover or something?"

 

"Hell, no. You know I'm no where near ready to settle down. Say, where's your wife and kid? Normally they'd be here"

 

"Oh, Silver Bars is out shopping with some of her friends. Two Bits is at school. You know it's not even noon yet?"

 

"Oh, I didn't really notice. It's been a long morning"

 

"Hm. Ah well. You know where the guest rooms are. If you'll give me a minute I have to finish some work in my study. Help yourself to kitchen!" He called leaving the entry hall. Atlas sighed again. Not yet. Hurt later. Work now.

 

"Sorry about the rush. That was Done Deal, a friend of mine. Follow me" Atlas began for the guest rooms. "He's a businessman and investor. One of the few Canterlot ponies I like too. We knew each other back years ago. As you can tell he's a bit older than he but he doesn't care. He's good at what he does but personally he spends too much time on it. But that's his job. I don't get it anyway. Oh, if you see his filly jump on my don't mind it. She's taken to calling me 'Uncle' and frankly I like her. He has his flaws but he's a good stallion. Oh, and not a word about the whole vampire thing to him. I may be willing to tell my folks but not him yet. I don't know who he'd take it. Laslty, I don't think we should stay in Canterlot long. One day at the most. We should head for Ponyville in the morning, I have a house there and we can pick up some stuff, that is unless you have other plans. I'm game for whatever you throw at me" He finished his long tangent with another sigh. Just have to hold the floodgates a bit longer.

"I remember you said something about 'Vampire magic'. What's the story behind that?"

Badaboom reflected a moment on the many incidents that happened at the IceWater Cabin, and frowned a bit, though it was a short lived display. As she soon found herself giggle a bit at their Host's assumption. Done Deal and Atlas exchanged a few more words before going separate ways. Atlas took Boom throughout the home to one of the guestrooms, where he proceeded a not so brief explanation on the residents of the house.

 

Vampire thing, Boom repeated a section of Atlas's rant in her head. The phrase just didn't hit her right, but again it wasn't anything she'd fret over. Especially after Atlas suggested that the duo should head to Ponyville the following morning. Badaboom shook her head in response to his inquiry if she had any other plans. "Maybe a quick stop at my place, too." Was all that she suggested.

 

The final question that Atlas gave was one geared towards Vampiric Magic. "There's not really a story behind it. More so it's just another perk." Badaboom tried to sound somewhat cheery on the subject. "You know? Rapid healing, night vision, voice alterations. Shadow manipulation is a cool one." She explained. "Though since you fed on a Unicorn, you'll probably find that you'll be able to use some other types of magic as well. Remember I told you that a vampire gains certain traits of their victims?" Boom added before moving to the window in order to peer outside.

(OOC Ah guys...this is all wrong... The whole point I showed up was so ya'll could figure out the prophecy when Seth showed up... he'd turn into  Lust, and he'd reveal all the things about the prophecy and in a sense you'd find out that Bliss was in danger etc etc... Why did ya'll suddenly just up and left and go to some random house? Now I have no idea how to respond to this now... I was expecting... well my idea to continue I guess...

 

If ya'll didn't like it and wanted to make a detour, could you have let me know at least...Gah...well so much for the plan *rolls with it*)

 

Bliss was completely zapped of strength at this point...her efforts wasted in a false hope that she'd run into some civilians to help her...only to teleport right in front of two more vampires.

 

"It's...hopeless...isn't it..." she spoke so quietly no pony could hear. She shut her eyes as Seth came crashing into Boom and Atlas...and could vaguly tell that Atlas had just drained an innocent pony...grabbed Boom and took off into the air to avoid another confrentation with...Seth...

 

"Yes it is hopless...you fool," Blight mocked her, "now quit it with the magic...You do that again and it could kill you..."

 

"That's what you want though isn't it..." Bliss groaned to herself.

 

"No...not yet anyway...the blood must still be pumping if I'm to be free..."

"Sounds good" He tentatively listened to Boom's bit on magic. "Voice mutilation? Now I think that one sounds cool. So how does that work? I just think of a voice and say something?" Okay, Atlas had to admit that was something that he kinda wanted to do. Atlas sighed, stopped, and look down. Her face... He had just- Stop that thought. Think later. Talk now. He got back to speed wiping any sigh of worry and anguish away. "What are you getting at? Yes, I do remember the whole segment on powers. Next thing you're going to tell me I can turn into a bat" He laughed at the idea. "I can't do that right?" He added seriously. 

 

the far off sound told Atlas the front door had shut. "Two Bits is home" With another sigh Atlas flopped onto the bed. "The past few days have been tiring... Mentally at least. Just..." He flipped onto his back staring at the ceiling. "I still don't feel good about this... That mare... All this fighting in my head..." He put his hooves in his face sitting up. "Something outside?" Atlas questioned seeing Boom look out the widow his voice a bit glum.

Picking himself up, the wolf shock his head in frustration, noticing he was a bit dizzy. Wait... Dizzy? He was lacking blood. He couldn't let himself fall short, not now. If Seth were to regain control... It would mean the end of Lust. Going over to the cowering, sickly mare, the demonic wolf picked her up and began to sniff at the ground. His plan was to drain the vampires of their pores and venomous blood. He would then say he tracked down the two kidnapping bliss and killing the two guards and the mare. Since he was a public official, his total would only confirm the matter.

 

With a smug grin, he began to fallow the smell of death. It wasn't long until the wolf came upon a residential house, the scent trail ending there. With a slight scowl, he wondered how he was going to get in. It wasn't till a pony walked up to the door, opening it. With a smile, he walked up to her.

 

"Please help!" He begged the kid as he slowly brought down the alicorn mare in front of her. "She is gravely ill and she needs residence. Please... Princess Bliss... I can't have her die..." Lust moaned in fake pain. The child instantly opened the door for the wolf and allowed the two in. Taking the mare on his back, the wolf entered and placed her near the entrance. Looking to the chile again, the wolf said, "please... Call for help then get back here quick. I need you." He instructed. The filly did as told, running to the main living room and calling out,

 

"There is a hurt pony in the enterence!" Two Bits informed before running back to Lust. When she arrived, the unsuspecting child was taking by the wolf held hostage as Lust waited for the vampires to show themselves. "Don't say a word girl, or they will by your last."

Done Deal heard the door open and checked the clock hanging in his study. Must be Two Bits. He thought. With a small smile he got up from his seat and began to walk to the entry hall. He loved his daughter. She was the world to him. Done wouldn't know what do if something happened to her.

 

"Two Bits! Guess who's here to stay with us for a bit!" He called as he entered. He stopped dead in his tracks. His face went white and blood ran cold. Two Bits looked up at her father in pure terror.

 

"Put my daughter down... I'll do anything you want. Just, please put her down" He pleaded his lower lip trembling a bit.

 

Boom wasn't kidding about the hearing. "You stay here. I'll go see what Two Bits needs" Atlas walked at a causal pace to the entry hall. A hurt pony? Here? Weird. Two Bits was a smart pony though. Something might have been up or she could just be exaggerating it.
