"Throw up all you, Bliss cause I'm not letting you down till we get to Ponyville" At the speed they were going at in relation to the location of Ponyville they'd be to the small town in a short time.

 

Even she think you'll bite her...

 

"In the name of everything good I don't want to hurt you! I'm helping! A new voice in my head is giving me shit right now and he's kinda a jerk" Atlas told her. 

 

Now she'll think you've got some screws loose. Good.

 

"Shut up in there!" Atlas shouted at the voice in his head. "Sorry, Bliss. Just throw up to the side. I do NOT want to bite you. I'm taking you to a friend, Zecora. She knows potions and will get you back on your hooves" With his spiel done Atlas put Lighting Bliss to the side somewhat to let her throw up. 

 

Zecora, huh? You haven't seen her in a few months now. You know your little pony there is going to scream bloody murder to her you're a vampire.

 

Zecora's a good zebra. She will help me.

 

You thought the same thing about Done Deal. Now he hates you. Two Bits is scared of you now too.

Atlas kicked up his speed in anger. He needed to be alone for a bit. But not now. Think later.

Still on the brink of sleep and the realm of reality, the wolf moaned out as he lauded on the lawn of Done Deal. His head was pounding like no other, and he wondered if he was truly deth. After a good ten minutes lying on the ground, the wolf slowly rose and looked to the house. Two ponies had their heads sticking out of a window, watching him. When he waved hi, they ducked back in and closed the blinds. With a bit of a frown, the miserable wolf began to trot out of the residential area towards a random direction. As he did, Seth tried to recal what had happened before the head ach. The last think he remembered was his mind fading out when he was looking to Bliss.

 

"Bliss!" He called out in terror. Where was she? Where was he? The only clue he had was that he could faintly remember her and Ponyville. With a heavy sigh due to the headache he trotted towards the train station. Luckily, he was close. "Please bliss... Don't be dead..."

Knowing Atlas wasn't going to let her go...and her body refusing to ignore her will, she hurled her head over the side, being considerate enough at least not to cover her marenapper with her own bodily fluids as it went over and falling down down down...

 

Would suck if any pony was down there...that will seriously ruin their night... She thought, kinda like me right now...

 

She then realized he mentioned someone else was talking to him inside his head as he mentioned... The dark impluses of his mind were finally emerging thanks to being turned to a vampire. She knew then...at some point those 'voices' he was hearing would later blend in with his mentality...that is if he fought it of course...similar how she was doing with Blight. After a few moments of trying to catch her breath, she then noticed that they were just going over Ponyville and were just over the Everfree Forest.

 

"Zecora is my friend...*coughs* she...she'll never let a vampire into...her home! Especially one that...*breathes heavily...* that marenaps...alicorns...against..." she struggled to speak, her lungs getting tighter and tighet with each breath. "She...can't...stop what I have...I know what it is...*gasps* I know...what causing it..."

 

At that she began to struggle again, her back legs lightly kicking away at the flowing wind. Her wings were extended and were flailing weakly against Atlas' face.

 

"Let me go! LET ME *gasps and coughs* GO!"

 

She looked down then, spotting a very familiar tree like home in the middle of the forest. It was well lit with candle light and steaming what looked to be incensts and a cauldren brewing.

 

"Zecora...help...HELP!" She called out as they made their descent.

Badaboom Box had made it unstopped from the city limits, and was now on her way to Ponyville. She sighed taking a way from the main road, as a thought crossed her mind. She had left her headphones back with Seth. To any other pony this loss would seem absurd, but was quite a damper on Boom's spirits. Maybe she could get another pair from Vinyl Scratch while in Ponyville.

 

Night time was drawing closer and Boom felt a strange sensation in the back of her mind, slowly becoming more and more prominent. It was the same as her dream from earlier, her seemingly darker impulse was for some reason becoming stronger. After a couple more minutes of trotting Boom stopped before the entrance to the Everfree Forest where she took a seat near one of the large trees. Taking in a deep breath the mare attempted to clear her head, for a moment it seemed to work, but then-

 

"Nice show there, been a while since you utilized the Shadow Jump" Boom headed her own voice echo around her. "Wasn't since the last time you let yourself go against that angry mob. You remember that incident don't ya?" How could she not? It was the day that Badaboom decided to turn her life around, and live a relatively normal life as an Earth Pony. With another sigh she made her ways through the darkening woods, it would still be quite awhile until she'd reach her destination.

((I really don't the relationship between LB and Zecora so I'm playing by ear on this one. All that you need to know about Atlas an Zecora is they know each other becasue Atlas is in the Everfree a lot and Zecora treats many of Atlas's wounds and acts as a guide for him))

 

Atlas groaned. 

"You're not going to listen. Why do I try? Maybe I can talk to you once you're not delirious. Zecora!" From her hut the Zebra walked out with a surprised look on her face.

 

"Atlas? What brings you? I was not expecting company so I'll have to make due" Atlas dropped in front of her with a thud. She looked at Lighting Bliss in alarm.

 

"Have you begun to kidnap or was there a mishap?" 

 

"The latter. She needs some herbs, now. I can explain everything inside. I don't know what she' got but it's bad"

 

"I can see. Quickly, come into my tree" She turned to enter.

 

With a hushed voice Atlas spoke into Lighting Bliss's ear. "I don't want a peep out of you. Because you are sick and because I've had enough problems with friends with this whole thing" With a frown Atlas walked in.

 

"Her head isn't right right now. Ever since I got her she's been shouting crap. I wouldn't believe much of what she says" Zecora gave Atlas a look of suspicion for a moment that swiftly dropped it.

 

"How do you meet Lighting Bliss? I've meet her before and she is hard to miss" 

 

"Long story. Right now she needs help" The Zebra nodded and took her from Atlas. Ah Zecora. She would know what to do. She always knew what to do. 

 

Are you sure she can?

 

Yes, I know she can.

 

We'll see about that. This whole voice thing was getting on Atlas's nerves. Shouldn't he be more worried? Next thing you know he'll be talking to bags of flour and piles or rocks over cake. Atlas bit his lip. Was he losing it? No. He couldn't be. He had seen ponies go insane. It didn't progress like this. Something was up.

 

Hehehe...

(OOC Ya sounds good, sorry a quick cap on LB and Zecora's relationship. LB tends to visit Zecora off and on throughout the weeks when she's not busy, to relax and meditate with her. She gets really flustered over her duties as peace negotiator and as an alicorn and Zecora helps to remind her who she is as a ruler over a nice pot of herbal green tea and honey cakes. Zecora even helped LB in another RP I was in, to turn into a dragon for means of protecting Equestria from the forces of the return of King Sombra, so ya they have a small connection. AKA Zecora is basically LB's therapist lol)

 

Bliss frowned and snorted at Atlas as he carried her inside...knowing full well he didn't want her to start 'blabbing' about the fact he was a vampire. Though she would have done so right from the start, she could tell he and Zecora also had a friendship...and despite being a Princess...having him around to tell Zecora that she was dellirious whenever she spoke on the fact, wouldn't help things. She would have to wait till Atlas was gone...for the moment...all she could do was state her illness.

 

"Oh my you have quite the heat!" The gentle zebra she had come to know and love as her council, touched her forehead, only to pull it back abruptly, "come Atlas, help me get her in this seat!" She gestured to a softer chair made of feather cushions. Zecora then dashed for a quilt along with a cooling pack and placed it just above Bliss's horn. "I've never seen sucha illness...It seems to almost be caused by evil in our mist." She turned to Atlas then, "How did you find her in this state? Was she already illed by this fate? Or did you encounter her before so, any information will help ease her sorrow."

 

"I got sick...in the north...on vacation..." Bliss coughed, answering Zecora, "been...to the hospital...two of them *coughs and gags* they...say...magical...somehow...But I...*gags* I think I know...what is...causing..." she then eyed Atlas as he was watching over the two of them. She could spot the red hint of glow and hunger within them...as well as that indimidating glare...In fear she turned away, shivering from the fever.

 

"There, there, do not fret, I know I have a remedy that I can set." She then turned to Atlas, "she has had quite the shock, come now, let us go alone and talk." She gestured Atlas over to her table along with her brewing cauldren and began picking herbs that grew within her tree along with some water and began to boil the ingredients. "She's terrified of you my friend...Nothing escapes my eyes I can intend. What is going on that has made her so scared? Have you both seen something that cannot be bared?"

 

Bliss's ears could still hear clearly, to which made her more nervous, especially with the fact Zecora was alone with Atlas across the room.

 

"Please! Don't leave Zecora *coughs*" she nearly fell off the seat reaching out, "I dont'...want to be alone..."

 

"Hmm..." Zecora looked at her, then back to Atlas, "prehaps you should wait outside...I'll let you know if there's a cure I can find."

"You could say I found her. There was an incident in the mountains and she was out in a blizzard overnight. I diagnosed it as hypothermia at first but now...  I don't know" Evil force? Was his mere presence hurting her? It couldn't be... But Zecora knew this kind of thing.

 

Atlas rubbed his neck. How much to tell?

"We've...  gone through a lot in the past few days... I think I know why she would be afraid of me. She's got a deep distrust for me right now and she has good reason"

 

"If you say so. I trust you" Atlas was about to step out but stopped. "We need to talk alone soon. Without Miss Big Ears listening. There are some things you need to know" It was ominousness. Somewhat vague too. Zecora raised an eyebrow at him. "Actually. I need to go. I"m expecting someone to show at my place soon" He hoped. "If Lighting Bliss is up to it meet me at my place for dinner, six PM. We can talk then" He turned to leave. 

 

"Hey" He called in the doorway. "You trust me, right?" She nodded. "You know I wouldn't hurt someone unless I had to, right?" She nodded again eyeing him. "Just remember that. See you tonight"

 

...

 

Atlas walked down the path to Ponyville.

 

You're really going to tell her?

 

"See no reason why I shouldn't"

 

Done Deal maybe? She's just going to be terrified of you and alienate you.

 

"No she won't"

 

Why so sure?

 

"Just shut up! Why don't you go away?"

 

Poor Atlas, can't get the voice out of his head.

 

Atlas growled at the voice and kept walking toward Ponyville.

Arriving at the station, Seth boarded a train destined for ponyville. It would take time, but he could use it. After winding up with a splitting headache, any time to relax was greatly wanted. After finding an empty car, the wolf plopped his head down on one seat and sighed. After the train began to leave the station, Seth perked his ears as music began to play in the background.

At least he had some tunes to play as he rested. It wouldn't be too long until he reached Ponyville, but a few minutes of shut eye were not denied.

 

----Dream

 

Standing before the wolf was a near copy of himself, one with a slightly darker coat. He didn't seem to be aggravated, just neutral. "Lust! I knew you were tied into this. What have you done?" Seth demanded to his counterpart.

 

The dark wolf only sighed and looked to Seth with red eyes. "Seth, I have done nothing that you wouldn't have done yourself if you were there. It was to protect Bliss."

 

"What was to protect Bliss? Where is she?"

 

"She was kidnapped by Atlas after you brought her to the hospital. I took control of you in a means of trying to get her back. I have stopped fighting you Seth. You and I can only achieve what we want if we work together. I want Blight, you want Bliss. I can't have one without the other."

 

"Then why not take my body now?"

 

"I... am weak. I need blood to stay in control."

 

"Good thing you haven't killed anypony yet at least. Where is Bliss now and how do I get her back? And... why are you siding with me when you can just do what you have been doing?"

 

"Bliss is with Boom and Atalss in either Ponyvile or the Everfree. I can help track the two vampires' location better when we arrive. As for why I am helping you... I have a plan that will suit all our needs. The two noobe vampires are getting in the way of Blight and I. So, for their punishment, I was thinking of using them to solve a lot of problems. Blight and I take their bodies. I become vampire king, she the queen, and you and Bliss can live on. We will not disrupt your lives, and you can leave us be."

 

"That's.... a ... rather fair deal..." Seth said, at a loss for words. "I'll see what I  can do."

Horrible memories of the event stated to her minutes ago continued to come in waves, during Badaboom's trek through one of Equestria's most intimidating place. The faces and sounds of those who she hurt flowed all to vividly. "Why did I have to remind myself of that time?" Boom questioned out loud trying to shake the thoughts away again, but with each attempt, they only grew more insistent with a stronger sense of realism to the point it was as if she were reliving that night.

It was countless years ago. An angry hoard of mixed pony races chased Boom through a less frighting forest, threatening her with fire and assorted weaponry. The young vampiric made had chosen a suitable Unicorn target, but was a bit too careless in her method of attack, that sparked an entire village's inhabitants to respond accordingly. Badaboom managed to outrun the mob for a time, but was eventually captured and subdued by the mass.

 

Back in the nameless town she was tied to a post where her captures took turns assulting her relentlessly with blades, magic, and fire. None of which fatal, but all equallay painful. Accompanied by hurtful slurs and pure hatred Boom slowly succame to her natural responses. Without warning amongst her cries of pain Badaboom managed to use her prey's own magic to unleash her bindings. The closest of the village's population quickly fell to her swift magically created blades, cutting the first row down effortlessly.

 

Even before any pony could react, Badaboom lunged forth sinking her fangs into a Pegasus's neck, draining his life in record time. Eyes bloodshot and glowing the mare dropped the body moving quickly to the next, and the next, next...and the one following. By this time there was no turning back. The terrified remaining ponies scattered with unforgiving cries of panic. Not showing any remorse and lost in a BloodRage, Badaboom sank into her shadow appearing just next to the furthest. Catching this first mare off guard, Boom twisted her neck effortlessly.

Back in reality her memory cut short, but Boom was now fixated on that incident, and knew the remainder that gradually kept eeking it's way to the front of her thought process, before repeating all over again. "Why? Why am I remembering this?" She nearly shouted into the air around her. "I told you...you must be prepared for what's to come. You've been trying to live as an Earth Pony for too long...It's time to return to who you once were...Who you really are."

 

Badaboom Box's own voice gave the reply, before again growing silent, and was replaced by the replay of her massacure. The most horrifying part, was with each cycle, Badaboom herself felt as though she was becoming more and more relaxed with the events of that evening. Almost to the point where she could say she was enjoying it. Needing another break, Boom crouched in an opening between trees. Where she let the memory run it's course, before finally just subsiding.

(OOC, Seth doesn't realize this, which I thought was a good way for Lust to manipulate the situation, but if Bliss is drained, then she will technically be dead, though she's not. Lust knows this though, thats why he needs Bliss to be alive, if she's dead, Blight doesn't have a vessel or body to take over lol. Bliss will  just be submerged into darkness as Blight takes over her body...and absorbed basically into Blight's mentality, and transform her into a full blown vampire. There will be no more Bliss when Blight takes over, unless of course Boom stops Blight and reverts Bliss back to her normal state.)

 

"*Coughs* Is he gone...Zecora?" Bliss asked the gentle zebra as she closed the door, sealing them in.

 

"Indeed he is, do not fret, but tell me Lightning Bliss. What has he done to get you upset?" Zecora asked her as she went back to her cauldren, adding more herbs while watching the small fragile alicorn intentsly.

 

"Would...you not laugh...if I told you...he's *gags*" she struggled to breath, "that he's a...he's ah..."

 

"There, there now, here drink this," Zecora handed her a small cup of the brew, "this will give a small fix. This potion I'm making dampers dark magic and curses, for I sense there's something within you thats influencing its forces..." She smiled to Bliss and sat down next to her, making sure the cold pouch stated on her head. "If you mean that Atlas is a vampire, yes I'm aware of this, I'm no liar. Vampires have always existed through the time, even my people have spoken of them in nursery rhyeme."

 

"You...know he's...*coughs*," she stopped a moment to sip the tea. The warm liquid ran down her throat, soothing it for a few seconds of relief.

 

Gah this stupid drink...its disgusting, Blight complained, won't matter though...it's only dampening the effects!

 

"Try not to speak Lightning Bliss, the curse upon you will not miss. Now listen to me now, and I will tell you the tale, how the vampire kingdom did live...and fail..." Zecora nodded with a sad look on her face, then went to grab one of her books from the many of assorted on the shelves on the other side of the room. She selected a dark black cover, that seemed old and horribly worn down. The zebra blew the dust off it, smearing what was left away, then carried it back to the ailing princess and opened it gently.

 

"You see my friend, it is no lie, it's true that vampires were among us, just as pegasus can fly." She began as she assorted through the book, "A millinia ago, before you or I, before the reign of Discord, or when the Princesses touched the sky. Our pony kind lived amongst the first children of the night, and though you may think it...they were not a fright. Vampires were a peaceful race, the first of immortals, they only fed once a year, as their history tells. Our pony kinds lived together, worked to protect, in exchange for a share of blood, that was the only defect. And for thousands upon thousands of years the two kinds lived in peace...that is till the reign of the alicorn came...and so began the feast...

 

The first of the alicorn leaders, feared the former Vampire Ruler...he feared the vampire for their predator ways and so challeged her to a duler...The ending fight came with horrible consequences...The Vampire Princess tasted tainted alicorn blood...and so began the masses. The vampire kind became corrupted with power and grew for a alicorn blood fight, that all the alicorn ponies seemed to parish inspite. It wasn't till two alicorn daughters...the last of their kind, faced the corrupted vampires and make them except their fine. Such Celestia and Luna banished the vampires to Tartarus...so that Equestria would remain peaceful...and free of the Darkness..." Zecora sighed and closed the book, a small tear dripped down her cheek.

 

"My people used to live side by side a vampire family many milina ago...The tail of their banishment always fills my heart with sorrow..." the zebra took Bliss's hoof then, "believe me when I say Alicorn of Peace...the vampire people you should not fear at least. A corrupted vampire chooses to be evil...but a vampire who chooses good is not so midevil. Atlas is a pony of honor...who was blessed with a kiss of darkness...If he brought you to me...he cares for you, you Highness."

 

"I wish...*coughs* I could...believe that Zecora..." Bliss curled her hoof around Zecora's black and stripped one, "there's more to your book then you know...*coughs*...There's another book...written in blood..."

 

"The Book of Vampires? Did you see it?" Zecora lifted her head up, "Your Highness sure you didn't miss judge it?"

 

"I don't know what....book it was...but i fortold of...a prophecy..." Bliss began to sob then, "you...think...you'll...love vampires...after I ....tell you this?"

 

"I do not know what the prohpecy is Bliss...But if you explain what you mean, I will see if it all fits."

 

"The...prophecy told...that a vampire princess will return...through the sacrifice...of a royal's blood...on a blood red moon..." The small alicorn began to shake.

 

"Oh no...this isn't good," Zecora stood up and quickly began barracading her door. "An alicorn princess we could lose in a few days on sucha moon!"

 

"Zecora?? *coughs*" Bliss stretched her hoof out realizing the zebra switched from concerned to terrified, "what is going on?"

 

"IF what you speak is the truth...you are in danger Lightning Bliss...by vampire tooth. A blood moon is coming, in one more night from now...You must stay here with me...do not head into Town. I don't wish to insult the vampire lore...but the risk of you perishing and captured by evil...fears me to the core!"

 

When Zecora pushed in several chairs, beracading themselves inside, she galloped back to Bliss, holding her close.

 

"The vampire lord will come...and it will take over you Lighnting Bliss...We cannot allow you to fall to the new vampire princess...Though she may be good and strong, the odds are too high...If she comes to take you...I fear you will die..."

 

Bliss's eyes went wide with fear...it was the first time Zecora seemed to contradict her wisdom for fear of her life. And if what she said was true...she must be talking about Badaboom...and with Atlas aiding her...She stopped thinking then and began to cry, holding her zebra friend close...and prayed to Luna and Celestia for their safety.

With a soft click the door to Atlas's house opened. Home sweet home. He kicked his bags off his back. Or he would have. He groaned when he released had taken them off back the Zecora's hut. He'd go get them before dinner. With a frown he walked into his living room. Dog hair was everywhere. He silently cursed at Hunter. He had one rule in the house. Just one. Why couldn't Patches have been the one over? He always cleans the place up before he leaves. With some more grumbling he walked into the kitchen. It was surprisingly clean for Hunter having come through recently. 

 

Everyone who had come into the house had always wanted to know why he had tow fridges. The Red Fridge and the Blue Fridge. Number One Rule: NEVER open the Red Fridge. NEVER. Atlas opened the Red Fridge. And meat. Lots of meat. Atlas slammed the door shut. Why Hunter needed to hunt so much he'd never know.

 

Hunter... He's an interesting one.

 

You again? Want to poke fun at him too?

 

Nah. I like him. We've got to stick with our wolven brothers and sisters.

 

I don't know how to feel about that statement.

 

He might not like you killed someone though. He's never done that.

 

And that again!

 

Atlas walked out of the kitchen and into a side room where he kept his wash rack and other supplies to the left side of the room. On the right there was a large pile of supplies for going to some uncharted land of danger minus weapons. He kept those in a locked closet in the master bedroom. After some digging through the disorganized mess Atlas pulled a duster and stick paper from the cleaning supplies. Ah, stick paper. It was amazing. With just one sheet he could get all the dog hair in the house. Stick paper is best paper.

 

You really like that don't you.

 

I forgot you could see everything... Jackass.

 

Get used to it.

 

After a nondescript amount of time the house was more-or-less spotless. Fit for two guests coming over for dinner.

 

@@Bada3oom Box, 

Where was Boom? He had completely forgotten about her. His eyes went wide. Could Lust have gotten her? No. She was fast. She could get away. But where was she? He knew he should put more into it but he dismissed her absents. He could deal with it once LB was in order.

 

Just so you know the option of being the king of all vampire kind is open. Just saying.

Atlas glanced at the wall clock in the kitchen. He would have to start cooking soon. Might as well run and get his things. Atlas began to trot toward the forest.

"And once again I don't want to be a king. More importantly I don't want to hurt Lighting Bliss"

 

Atlas had been talking to the voice in his head  the whole way to the hut.

 

Why not? Everything you could ever want, right in front of you!

 

"Because I'm happy the way I am"

 

Sure about that? Just you wait. You'll want it eventually.

 

"I'm happy with my leg not being crippled anymore"

 

Atlas had only noticed the lack of pain from his leg recently. Since then he'd been a bit giddy. He could actually kick with it and not grunt in pain! The scar was still there but it wasn't causing pain!

 

I guess that's an upside. Still. Power! Wealth! 

 

"Eenope. Don't want it" The voice had been trying to willingly convinced Atlas for a while. Maybe he would try force later. But later.

 

Fine. We can talk later.

Atlas approached the hut. Weird. Normally more lights would be on. He gave a hard hoof knock on the door.

"Hey! Zecora! I think I left my bags here!" I attempted to push open the door. When did Zecora get a lock? "Mind opening the door?" He called in.

"Oh no...Atlas is here..." Zecora's head poked up after sleeping close to Lightning Bliss for the Princess's own safety, "if he should know of the propehcy, who knows what he'll do I fear..."

 

"He's...*coughs* he's just...here for his...bags...isn't he?" Bliss asked, "maybe...just give it to him...and he'll...go..."

 

"No...Atlas is a good pony, vampire or no... He must know the truth Lightning Bliss, before he can go." Zecora sighed, and began pushing some of the furniture out of the way.

 

"Zecora...no...don't..." Bliss panicked, reaching over to the zebra, and fell from the chair.

 

Stupid! Stop her! Blight shrieked in Bliss's ear, I don't need Atlas ruining our plans! If he knows of the prophecy he'll hand you off to Boom faster then you can say Rainboom!

 

"Ahoy ah!" Zecora whinnied in her native tongue, just as she finished opening the door for Atlas, "Princess please remain in the seat! Otherwise this curse will guarentee your defeat!" She lifted the fragile alicorn back up, and pushed her back to a lying postion and covered her up. "Please do not worry...I promise you won't be sorry."

 

With that Zecora grabbed Atlas things and gestured to the pegasus to the door, following him out and closing the door behind him.

 

"Atlas my friend, forgive me for the oddness. I fear from what was spoken in the past hour, fear for Lightning Bliss..." the zebra sighed and handed him his bags. "I know what you are Atlas, there is no hiding. A vampire you are, fangs you are smiling. But do not worry, there is no need for tension, I just felt a friend like me should mention. But more must be said on this night before you depart...For the sake of your friend Lightning Bliss, and for you...brave heart..."

 

At that Zecora laid down the lore of the vampire history...and the story of the prophecy that Bliss had mentioned. It took several moments and lines of rhyming later...but once she was done, she drooped her head in sadness, waiting for Atlas' response.

 

"Now you know Atlas...Bliss is a key...She will give life to a new Vampire Princess you see..." she looked into his eyes, "Don't let this happen to her...she is as innocent as can be. What will Equestria do without the Princess of Peace?"

Surprising how quickly the pesterance of her memory had let up. Boom was still dwelling on it, but at least she wasn't lost in it any longer. She had been back on the move for awhile now, growing closer to her destination. Boom hadn't taken the normal route, and thusly avoided both Zecora's hut as well as her own home. Just a few more minutes and she'd be outside of the forest near Ponyville.

 

Badaboom hadn't stopped until she reached the Everfree's edge, then she had a sudden realization that she didn't know where Atlas had lived. She contemplated taking a deture to Vinyl's place, but decided against it, the mare probably wasn't home anyway. Instead Boom pressed casually towards the town.

"Oh... How did you guess? Then again I should have expected someone like you to figure it out that fast. *Sigh* I hope I can see you later. Atlas's eyes went red.

 

"GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" Atlas screamed with the voice of a demon.

 

Yes! Be angry! I am the source of your misery! I am the reason why you are in pain! I make you suffer! The voice was surprised at how easy it was to enrage Atlas. Than again with recent happenings.

 

Atlas whole eyes were emitting a red glow. 

 

"GET! OUT!" Atlas began to punch the nearest object, a tree. With a few swift hits it fell. "ARGH!" Now was the time. The glow subsided.

 

"You really need to control yourself, Atlas" The voice smiled devilishly. "Who knows what you could do?" Rage looked at his new hooves. "Very nice, Atlas. You keep your body fit"

 

What? Atlas felt alien in his own body.

 

"So" Rage began. "You see what you have become? A monster. That's what. You ARR!" Rage cried in pain. Atlas fell to the ground. 

 

"Shut the fuck up" 

 

This isn't over, Atlas. Just you wait...

With a sigh Atlas walked into Ponyville. Might as well get home... Where was Boom? She better not have gotten herself killed. He really need to talk to her. This whole evil voice thing was a problem. She would get here eventually. Till then he waited around town.

Zecora sighed and went back into the house and rebarricaded it once again. Once that was completed, she took Bliss's cup and refilled it with the brew. It smelt heavy with herbs, but she was able to dous it down somewhat with a spoon full of honey, or well...in the Lightning Bliss's case, three spoon fulls of honey.

 

"There now, try to drink a sip, it will help you to keep your energy fit." The zebra sighed a heavy smile as she gave her the cup.

 

"Did...he listen...to you? Is...he *coughs*...not going to...hurt me?" Bliss asked the zebra as frantically as she could.

 

"I told Atlas the prophecy you told me, but it is hard to tell what his goals will be. He seems determined to stay out of trouble, and not listen to your...ill mannered mummble." Zecora managed a giggle knowing Atlas was justified in his wanting to stay away from Bliss. She wasn't exaclty the best patient when she was sick.

 

"It's not mummble Zecora...what is happening is real *coughs* ...and what's worse...my friend...Seth...he's...he's been taken...over by...the dark impulses..."

 

"Do you mean to tell me what? That Seth is now that vampire you called Lust?" The zebra gawked.

 

"Lust has returned...which...means Blight is...GAH!!!!!" She shrieked as she grabbed her horn. It began to radiate a red evil glow...not of her own magic as it was consuming her head in pain.

 

I warned you to keep your mouth shut...You like pain? Do you like it my little better half? Blight retorted...

 

"AHLOYA OHY!" Zecora leapt to action, and grabbed a familiar blue flower...Poison Yoke and began crushing it in a bowl before running back and smearing the flower's potency on the aching red horn. "Hold on now Princess, do not fret, this flower has magics that are well spent!"

 

The blue juice of the lower covered her horn...and miracolously dosed the red magical curse back from where it came, and oddly enough began to glow a blue colore instead...giving off relief more so then pain.

 

HISSSSSS!!! STUPID ZEBRA POISONED MY CURSE! Blight snorted in Bliss's head, No matter...my illness curse will be uneffected... But you remember that pain Lightning Bliss...

 

"You spoke to me once Lightning Bliss," Zecora frowned, "of the tale in the old cottage, of the vampire kiss. Your friend Seth was a vampire who infected your neck, you turned into the alicorn Blight to that respect... Are you saying that both vampires are returning to their hosts? And intend to take revenge on the ones they hate the most?"

 

"If you mean Seth and Blight wanting *coughs* revenge...on Prince Shining Armor and Princess...C-Cadence...then no...Blight wants to be...released...She's...she's got to be..."

After departing the train, Lust and Seth had been debating how exactly they were to actually perform the acts they had discussed. What surprised Seth more than actually wanting to bite Bliss's neck, was that Lust was the one to give him the idea. His body wasn't weak, so he could hold both Lust and Blight (as the vampire had said) until they found Atlas and Boom.

 

As he approached the border between Ponyville and the everfree, Lust screeched out in pain. 'Damn that Blight!' He cursed in the wolf'd mind.

 

"What's up now?" Seth verbally asked, not stopping his trot. 

 

'Blight. She is being attacked by something strong.' Lust groaned. 'At least I can track them'

 

"Really? Well, tell me where they are?"

 

'Go a bit to your right, the straight. From there, just keep walking.'

 

"Nothing more? Well... at least you are being helpful now." Seth muttered. "Just keep me posted on direction."

After a bit of time walking, the wolf arrived at a small hut in the middle of the woods. To him, he had no clue what it was, as he had never met the zebra. "So... this is where Bliss is?"

 

'Ya, right in there.'

 

"In a hut?"

 

'Ya'

 

"In the woods?"

 

'Yes! What part of yes don't you get?'

 

"The part that has me looking for a princess vampire... in a swamp."

 

'Just trust me Seth. I'm part you after all.'

 

Sighing, the wolf reluctantly knocked on the door and waited for an answer.

Pressing past both familiar and stranger ponies alike, it wasn't long after her arrival into Ponyville that Badaboom caught sight of her friend across the way. Trotting up to him she called while still a bit a ways. There wasn't much need to keep a low profile here in the 'Kingdom of Friendship.' However Boom was unaware that her eyes shown red. Should she have noticed it would strike her as strange, being she was usually in complete control of such things.

 

Once at the Pegasus's side, "Ayo, Atlas! You've seemed to make it here fine. Good too cause, haha, I didn't even catch where you lived. As ya can see, I've kept up. Showed that wolf pup a thing or two as well, haha." Badaboom started, but couldn't help her glowing eyes from wandering around the surrounding area, of the surprisingly, not so crowded streets. "So uh, where's Lightning Bliss?" The mare questioned, with a peculiar unnoticed echo in her voice upon mentioning the Alicorn's name.

"Oh, Hey Boom. I was worried about you. I thought Seth might have gotton ahold of you"

 

Why should you tell her where the Princess is? She just wants the power to herself... Rage whispered in Atlas's ear.

 

"She's in safe hooves. Lighting Bliss is banged up pretty bad though. The pony I left her with says she needs to rest for a good while. Say, what's you do with Seth? You didn't kill him do you?

 

He's probebly fine. If he's an elder vampire. 

 

Wouldn't you this kind of stuff?

"At least you seem to be in one piece. you said you had a house here, right? I guess we can sleep at our own houses then unless you think we should stay together cause, you know, an evil vampire wolf wants us dead" Atlas rubbed the back of his neck. "Your pick. We split up our stick together" 

 

Good. She doesn't need to know anything about what we know. Next time we're alone I need a nice long talk with you.

"Hmmm? Who could that be? Hold on a moment while I go and see," Zecora patted Bliss's worrysome head and went to the nearest window that wasn't blocked by furniture. To her surprise it was a semi dark gray wolf, looking a little scruffled around the fur. She noticed his tribal burn mark...of the Wolven Empire. "Well this is of the most oddest, it is a first time I've seen a real wolf in the forest. Not a timber wolf we know, but what could he be wanting here now?"

 

"A gray...wolf...?" Bliss coughed then turned pale white.

 

Hehe...seems my master has found your little hiding spot...Blight chuckled.

 

 

"DON'T LET HIM IN ZECORA!" Bliss heaved, falling out of her seat, and vomiting on the floor. After a moment of erecting the fluid, she looked up again, "That's Lust! Seth...Lust...vampire...Evil...don't trust him!"

 

"ALOHA!" Zecora snorted, giving the wolf a firm glare, then shut her window curtains closed and proceeded to put some ornaments and furniture to block the windows a well. "You're friend Seth has been conquored by the vampire Lust? We need to find a way out of here, your safety is a must!"

 

"But...*gags* how...where Zecora?" Bliss groaned and curled up in a ball, "I can't...move...and everything is blocked..."

 

Zecora's ears went back as she darted back and forth, not sure herself what to do.

 

"If only Atlas were here...Maybe our outlooks wouldn't be filled with fear..." Zecora paced back and forth, mummbling in her native tongue, in an almost cussing manner. "Oh why did I send the pegasus away! If he were here, he'd might of given us some sway!"

Badaboom Box laughed a bit at Atlas's first statement. "That wolf thought he had me, but I gave him the slip. I didn't do much of anything to him though, definitely didn't take his life. Thanks for worrying about me." She gave a quick rundown leaving out specifics, as truthfully they didn't seem important. Boom also avoided going into much more detail regarding Lightning Bliss either. Atlas took her some place safe, what reason did Boom have not to believe him. However she did feel an uneasy sensation of dissatisfaction in losing her so quickly.

 

"Actually my place is in the Everfree Forest, thought I mentioned that." Badaboom corrected her friend. Initianally Boom did think it better to stick together, but after her walk from Canterlot she didn't believe it'd be the wise choice. She felt darker and not fully in control, it seemed being away from civilization would prove best. "So if ya wanted to follow me there that's cool. Otherwise I'll catch back up with ya in the morning." She gave her answer as she started turning away. Atlas though gave one more strange statement in the form of a question. "Deal?" She repeated back at him.

"I didn't say anything" Rage said. The voice sounded similar Atlas's but it wasn't. It was too deep and rough. Anyone who had spent time with Atlas could hear that. It just wasn't him.

 

"Not a thing" Atlas continued. "Good job with Seth. He should be out of our hair at least" He gave a forced smile. "Oh, I must have forgot. We should meet up tomorrow morning then. I've got to get going. Something came up and I need to get it sorted before anything" It was a half-truth. Atlas knew it and he didn't like it. 

 

"See you!" He flew off before Boom could even attempt to object or witty comment. He flew straight home then peeled off toward the forest.

"You wan't to be in private well you go it" Atlas told Rage.

 

"Good. Land in that clearing" Atlas came to a halt and dropped into the clearing below. 

 

"This isn't very private"

 

"Ba! It'll do. No one would have followed us" He was cocky and Atlas knew it. "One moment" 

 

"Okay..." When Atlas blinked his eyes again in front of him stood Rage. It was like an identical twin but with a hint more evil. His coat was a bit darker as was his mane. Rage's eyes were a deep red and had long fangs just sticking out of the bottom of his mouth. Those fangs... Atlas shivered thinking of Canterlot.

 

"How do you-"

 

"Get out of your head?" Rage finished. "Oh, I'm still in there. I'm just playing tricks on your eyes to make it seem like you see me. Kinda like a projector"

 

"So I'm hallucinating"

 

"Ugh. You make it sound so bad!"

 

"You're the one who wants me to kill Lighting Bliss!"

 

"Now, now, Atlas. You're getting ahead of us. I don't want to kill her"

 

"Then what do you want?" Atlas gritted his teeth annoyed.

 

"Calm down. This can work out for everyone. Everyone except Seth that is but who cares about him"

 

"I'm not killing him"

 

"I don't want you to kill him. He just gets sent back to his home country. He comes out clean too. My bad, I should have said Lust doesn't get what he wants" Rage smiled. A evil smile full of trickery and mischief. Atlas couldn't tell who it was direct toward. Him or Seth.

 

"I'm listening" Atlas couldn't believe he was doing. He was listening to the evil plan of his alter ego that happen to be a vampire.

 

"I can tell you're annoyed so I'll make it quick. Here's the stuff you care about. No one dies. Well, no one you care about. And Lighting Bliss comes out fine"

 

"You really haven't told me what you want to do yet. For all I know you want to go to get the groceries"

 

"​Impatient!" Rage poked Atlas on the nose earning Atlas flailing at the thing he couldn't hit. "Did I mention I could touch you? No? Ah well. Where was I before you interrupted? Ah, yes. I know you won't like it but... We're going to become the vampire king"

 

"No"

 

"See! You won't let me explain! I have a great way to become king"

 

"How then? We?"

 

"Yes. We! I'm not going to try and destroy your personality and soul like other vampire spirits. I want you to stick around"

 

"Why would I, the small and pathetic pony, do to help you?" Atlas mocked.

 

"Ah ha! That is the second goal. I can't rule alone. I'm too tyrannical and evil. Even I can see that. But you. You are caring. You know who to treat the people. You won't oppress them or overwork them as I would. I on the other hoof are deceptive and cruel. In a kingdom that can come in handy with diplomatic and other problems"

 

Atlas raised an eyebrow with a frown. "What are you getting at?"

 

"Can't you see, Atlas! Not rulers of the vampires! Rulers of Equestria and beyond! Us, together could rule for an eternity. You the kindness, me the strong hoof. No one could oppose us!"

 

Atlas was shocked. Take over Equestria? That was new. "You've got a few holes in your 'epic plan' of yours. How exactly do you plan to take over? The two of use couldn't take down a few Royal Guards let alone the Princesses"

 

"You forget, Atlas. You are a vampire now. The guard is an easy enemy. How to get at the royalty? Easy. Once we are king of the Vampires we can use that to take Canterlot. Once that is done we use the Princesses like puppets until the time is right then come out that we have been ruling the whole time. Show some strength and then the people will praise us as the new monarch. You know the rest"

 

Atlas rubbed his chin. "I'm actually thinking about this?! Why?!"

 

"Because you've never been faced with this much power. Sure you have a few peasant villages in the Griffon Kingdom who would do as you said but all of Equestria? No. Those ponies in Canterlot have always looked down on you. You have the chance to control them and take what can easily be ours!"

 

He was right. All that. His. "Wait! How does Lighting Bliss and Boom get out of this okay? I have to kill her to become king!"

 

"Ah. Now you're thinking. Boom would be fine. She's a vampire already. You have one loyal follower and a soon-to-be Noble right there. On LB, the nice Princess of Peace, easy. You just have to have her blood. Who said she had to die? You just have to have her blood! No death needed. Sure, she'll hate you and herself for a good decade but she will get over it. Once she does she'll be happy that we could sort this mess of a kingdom out"

 

Would she? How would she react to this? "I... I can't bite her... I just can't..."

 

"Atlas. We have the chance to make Equestria better. Not just for us but for the masses. Sure I'm a bit evil and couldn't care less about the 'masses' but you do! I need another counter force to make this work"

 

A better Equestra? It was tempting... Maybe he was right.

 

"I've noticed something though that will cause some problems. Lighting Bliss has a vampire spirit in her. She said herself she was once one. It is still in her. For this to work with her coming our okay and not evil will take some work... I need to kill or at least neutralize her vampire spirit. There's a small problem though. I am, frankly, weak. Her's has to be strong and an elder. I can't fight that. We need help"

 

"Help? How? I'm not getting another one of you"

 

"Nope. I already have some one in mind. With that pony's help we'll be golden"

 

"Who?" Atlas's eyes went wide.

"Just find that pony! You'll get your bits when you bring the pony here"

 

"Fine, mister. We'll find your mysterious pony" The three Pegusi hovered in front of Atlas. He had found them pretty fast. On his way to Zecora's hut he had run into them working cloud duty for Ponyville. They seemed pretty eager to get some extra bits. Sure it cost him a leg and another leg but it was worth a few bits. "Come one, team. We're burning daylight" She and her team flew off on the hunt.

Atlas knew what he was doing. He was betraying Boom and Lighting Bliss doing this and to an extent Zecora. He held trust high and he was breaking a lot of trusts here. But it was for the greater good. For Equestria. This had to be done.

Atlas began to approach the hut. He'd done a lot in the little time he had spent. 

"Shit!" He shouted approaching the hut. Lust and/or Seth was at the door. First he felt fear. Then he felt rage. Much rage.

"SETH!" Atlas and Rage shouted in unison from the same mouth. "Get away from that door!" The two began to shout in tandem. "I will not let you hurt Lighting Bliss or Zecora!" Atlas's right eye poured red light with his left a normal green. 

 

"You have messed with our lives enough! Because of you I am shunned from those I love! Because of you Lighting Bliss lies in fear!"

 

Atlas landed placing Seth in between him and the hut.

 

"What do you want here?"

The wolf had seen the window open and close, seeing a zebra in the window. He knew zebras existed, it just puzzled him why one would live here. Sighing, he knew he wasn't getting in.

 

"Bliss... I know you are not going to believe me here... but I have a way to save you. Lust... he knows a way for the two of us to live." He said in a sad tone. She would never buy into it. If it were reversed, he wouldn't either.

 

She's not going to help you.

 

I know... hey... can you talk to her and Blight? Convince her of the good intentions? 

 

Sure.... but you owe me some blood after this.

 

---Mind of Bliss

 

The dark grew wolf appeared, looking to a dark version of Bliss. "Blight. I do have a method of actually saving these two as well as ourselves. It will even put a stop to a certain two weaklings" He spoke with a wide smile.

As Seth's mind began to feel a bit more clear, the wolf sat outside the door until Lust would return. However, it was not the wovlen vampire that supplied him. When Atlas landed before Seth, he gave him a low growl.

 

"I have brought fear to her? I have?!?! I was not the one to kidnap her! I rescued her from near death. I have known her for years!!! She is my friend. What are you to her?" He barked out, advancing until he was but a foot away. "You are a cowered, and a weakling. Learn your place in this world! Now step aside!"

Zecora peeked out the window as she spotted Atlas seeming to place himself in defense of her home...as well as herself and Lightning Bliss.

 

"Oh thank the Princess that be, Atlas is here Bliss! Come and see!" Zecora's tail wagged some grateful that a strong friend has come to their aid.

 

But Bliss did not hear Zecora...she was unconcious, adrift in the mind that Blight now occupied to speak with her master...

"About time you showed up master..." Blight emerged from the darkness of Bliss's mind, "I've neutralized the little Princess for the moment to give us these few moments of talk...but it won't be for long..." She shrugged and sat down, licking her long legs eagerly.

 

"Don't worry, she won't hear or remember what you have to say...not that it matters. She already knows that she'll have to be completely submerged into darkness...death...in order for me to arise. And besides... I wouldn't want it any other way... Yes I know what you planned with Seth...But you're out of your mind! I will not be satisfied with a semi emergence! I will be the vampire lord!"

 

-- Outside --

 

"Oh no!" Zecora ran to the unconcious alicorn and nuzzled her cheek, "you're fever is so high...What can we do...I cannot even fly...But Atlas is here...this may be our only chance...If I can sneak you out of here, without gaining a glance. Yes...this must be what to do...Come on Princess, there's not much to lose!"

 

With that Zecora gently pushed her head underneath Lightning Bliss's body till she slid down, to be balanced on her back, hanging over. Zecora then went to the nearest window, that was furthest from Atlas or Seth, and glared back towards the forest.

 

"The Castle of the Two sisters, that's where we should go. We can't stick around and watch this show..." At that, she bucked the door open and leapt out with great speed and stamina, dashing through the woods and hoped Seth didn't notice.

 

Zecora ran for several minutes, too afraid to stop, and too afraid to check if Bliss was still breathing, all she knew was that she had to get the alicorn to a safe place. A thought crossed her mind to head to Ponyville, but realized it came too late since she was already running the opposite direction. Help was what she needed, if only there was another pony out here in the woods...

 

Abruptly she skid to a stop as she spotted a gray earth pony with a green mane and tail seeming to be taking a stroll through the woods.

 

"How odd to see this, maybe this earth pony is at a miss?" Zecora didn't bicker much to see a pony alone in the woods, and headed towards the pony, unaware it was 'Badaboom.' "Hello there! Can you help us please? We're being hunted down, and we're trying to flee!"

Standing with a washed over awkward feeling Badaboom watched as Atlas suddenly went skyward leaving her last question unanswered. It wasn't to troubling though as a plan had been set to meet up in the morning. As a specific place or time was left unknown she just figured that she and Atlas would meet up where the mare stood now.

 

Without any other need in Ponyville at the given time Badaboom started her journey home. Once she reached the edge of the dark forest her mind began to wander back to the screams of the slaughtered villager's many years ago. She held the images in the front of her thought process until a strange voice called from the side. "Wicked rhyme, that you must know? Even if, it were unintentional." She replied humorously turning her still red eyes to see a zebra. The Alicorn on her back drew even more attention, it was Lightning Bliss.

 

"Oh! You must be the good hooves that Atlas mentioned?" Badaboom assumed. It was at that moment that the zebra's inquiry finally sank in. "Hunted? Wouldn't happen to be a wolf that's chasing you would it? You know what it doesn't matter, follow me." Boom offered moving through the woods in an awkward pattern as to spread her scent about.

 

Leading the way Badaboom Box escorted the Alicorn carrying zebra to a small house built seemingly randomly umoung the trees. Opening her front door Boom waved the stranger inside. "Hurry up inside. Seth hasn't really made a habit out of giving much time whilst in persute." The mare added unknowingly that the wolf was preoccupied with her Pegasus friend.

"You are the monster! I have not kidnapped her! I tried to save her! You nearly killed her back in Canterlot! You threatened to kill a child to fulfill your prophecy!" Atlas was fumming. In he back of his mind Rage sat waiting let Atlas do as he pleased adding two cents everyone and a while. If this little alliance would work they had to work as a team. As equals rather than master and servant.
