Poppy nodded. "Indeed, it is. And watching Jazz try to drink hot tea is kinda funny. Sorry, Jazz." She said as her friend glared at her.

 

"Well, it's burning my tongue. You're really mean sometimes, Poppy..." Jazz pouted, giving up on her cup of tea for now. Instead, she moved over next to Draco on the opposite side from Poppy. "But it's worth it for the company."

 

"Next time, try blowing on your tea, Madame Flirty. Your list of nicknames is growing, by the way."

Draco just chuckled slightly at the two mares "Well it would seem I will be kinda amused when I move in now won't I?" Draco asked as he pulled out one of his books one was that of Loveless. His family's first and only history. He smiled at the white book embodied with gold pearls.

Poppy and Jazz both nodded, clearly on board with Draco moving in. They sat quietly while Draco looked over his book since it seemed to be important to him, though Jazz ended up resting her head on Draco's shoulder for no apparent reason. Poppy just shook her head, seemingly unable to stop herself from smiling.

 

"I think Jazz likes you." She said, chuckling slightly as Jazz nodded absent-mindedly.

Poppy and Jazz both nodded, clearly on board with Draco moving in. They sat quietly while Draco looked over his book since it seemed to be important to him, though Jazz ended up resting her head on Draco's shoulder for no apparent reason. Poppy just shook her head, seemingly unable to stop herself from smiling.

 

"I think Jazz likes you." She said, chuckling slightly as Jazz nodded absent-mindedly.

Draco said a simple poem "When the war of the beasts brings about the world's end. The goddess descends from the sky. Wings of light and dark spread afar. She guides us to bliss, her gift everlasting," Draco looked at the poem and it was just a prologue to the story.

Though a surprise came when she glanced at the clock and saw that it seemed to be later than she thought it was. "Bugger me. Is it that time already? I'd better get dinner ready. I don't trust Jazz in the kitchen anymore."

 

"Hey, I don't always burn dinner." Jazz said indignantly.

"Hey, I don't always burn dinner." Jazz said indignantly.

Draco chuckled slightly as he looked at the two mares. He walked to the kitchen "I'll cook," Draco said as he pulled out various ingredients for a good pasta. He smiled as he began to cook. He smiled when he found out he could make some salad too. Draco chuckled to himself as he added alittle sugar to the sauce and alittle Cheyenne pepper.

At least there was a small consolation in the fact that they probably wouldn't have been able to talk him out of it anyway. "I'll go get the guest room set up, then. Jazz, you're in charge of cleaning up." Poppy said, making her way upstairs while Jazz saluted behind her back.

Draco said teasingly "Aye but for you both ladies have great flanks," Draco popped his head into the kitchen smiled with good cheer. He then brought out six plates one of filled with pasta and the other was salad with some Italian dressing. He set them down onto the table.

Jazz giggled and blushed at Draco's comment as she finished the last of the cleaning up duties, which was to take the teapot back to the kitchen. "Oh, you're so sweet." She said, giving Draco a slight nuzzle for the compliment.

 

Poppy, however, simply smiled as she came back downstairs. "I'm sure there's more to like about us than just our flanks, as lovely as they are." She said teasingly, adding a slight sway to her walk and making sure Draco had a good view.

Poppy, however, simply smiled as she came back downstairs. "I'm sure there's more to like about us than just our flanks, as lovely as they are." She said teasingly, adding a slight sway to her walk and making sure Draco had a good view.

"My, my shaking it for me already? Poppy how nice of you," Draco said with a grin on his muzzle "Well it's meant to be a compliment. Most of the mares I've known just have way to big of flanks," Draco said as he ate his dinner. "Hmm it has that tang to it thanks to the cheyanne pepper along with the sugar," Draco said.

There's also pretty faces, funny personalities and a good brain if you're lucky." Poppy said, though she was kind of listing what she found attractive in a stallion, too.

Jazz tried to speak, but her words came out almost as fast as she could draw breath in her excitement and she appeared to be reluctantly diverting her attention from her meal. Naturally, Poppy had to translate for her.

"And some of these you'll have to sell actually I think I have enough pull here to move you two into a three bedroom house,"

"If I'm guessing right one of my old places of work would open up a spot in 3..2...1," Draco said as a large kaboom was heard and there across the apartment was the Coco Bucko(think like the Coco Bongo from The Mask). "Most of the rent will be from me," Draco said as he smiled slightly. "The Coco Bucko is a swing club meant for classy Swing genre. They pay me a very goo ammount. and as I said I have afew connection I can probably pull their tails to get us a good home," he explained as he looked through his saddle bags.

 

HE heard a familiar screech of his pet peregrine falcon. He opened the window for the large bird of prey to come in through the window "Hello Perry," Draco said gently to his pet. "I need you to deliver something for me open. Bring it to the housing administration," the bird looked at his master as if saying 'the hell master' "I know I know but when you come back you'll have a nice big juicy rat waiting for you," the bird screeched in joy. Draco began to wriote a letter to the head of housing. with that the bird took the letter in his talons and flew off. "And now we wait,"

It wasn't that she doubted him, more like surprised that he seemed to have everything planned out like this. She wanted to make sure this was really happening and not a dream or a cruel prank meant to get their hopes up only to bring them crashing down hard.

 

Jazz, of course, wasn't tremendously fazed by this. She thought this was a one in a million chance and they got really lucky. "Awesome. Draco's got it all figured out, Poppy. Stop worrying so much."

I will make enough to cover the food, Electricity, and mortgage," Draco said as he looked like he was calculating. "Maybe I can get you guys to work in the Coco Bucko with me. One as an entertainer. The other a barmaid," Draco said with a grin.

She said, trying to calm down her friend, while at the same time showing a strange reversal of their roles. Then she gestured for Draco to join in the hug, too.

Draco shook his head as he joined "Poppy,Jazz the day I lie to my friends is the day I stop being me," Draco said as he looked at them sincerely. "Heh don't worry I am not lying  to you mares.," he said as he laid his large wings upon their backs gently. "You two do smell good though," he said complimentary.

"I think it'd help with teaching her to behave. I tried spanking her once, since she was acting like a foal, but I think she just enjoyed it. Should try it again to confirm, but...I don't think I'm brave enough." Poppy said, though with Jazz not paying attention right now, it wasn't entirely certain if she was joking or not. But Jazz was probably eccentric enough to enjoy it as long as it wasn't too hard.
