On Earth, people live normal lives. But, in this world, that very fact made your life abnormal. Shame, right? You lived a normal life too, until you had just became an adult. Yes, young adults, at the peak of your lives, and then darkness fell upon you. Then, lights shone upon you. You were confined, strapped onto a chair with belts, and hands and feet cuffed with chains, blindfolded. Each one of you were tortured in so many ways, every single hour, with no rest for one day. That is, until, a simple equation, individual to each one of you, glowed electric blue, the same color as the orb of energy in those hands of yours. Your voice, as soft as a whisper and strangely musical, repeated the same words we once knew so familiarly:

 

"Awaken, for a new era has just begun. The hours of suffering are now vanquished. Rise, and you will use the silent weapons that are your birthright, and soon will be everyone else's."

 

A blinding white dazzled all of your sensations and you stand in the middle of your home city, New York City, buzzing with noises and lights, back to back to people just like you. You have lost all of your memories except a brief overview. Nothing special. You know only your nuclear family and your basic history. You can return to your normal lives, but remember, the ones who are most dear to you, will bring back to where you began: together and in a crisis. A race against time. You must AWAKEN. It is now April 8th, 2012, only the day after your painful experience. What will you do?

It will be hard to choose your path, now that you're not normal. You have the abilities of mind control, sensory manipulation, visual projection at hand. However, it will be up to you to decide if they're illusions or not. Reality or not.

 

Rules

iii. OOC in this thread can only be focused on the RP at hand. Anything personal regarding this RP and not regarding this RP, should be in PMs.

iv. I don't care how much you post, (though I'd appreciate at least three sentences) you just have to post in the RP every three days at least.

v. Respect each other.

vi. This will be hard but no godmodding and no reverse godmodding.

vii. But definitely no bunnying without permission.

viii. Recap people over what happened if a lot has happened in the RP.

xi. No Mary Sues or Drama Kings/Queens

xii. Keep everything PG13. You can make implications of anything over that, but making them very subtle.

xiii. You can post your character sheets in this thread.
